ACET 2018 Result has been Declared Now. ACET 2018 Registration has been Closed Now. Actuarial Common Entrance Test offers professional courses in Actuaries. ACET 2018 is conducted twice in a year.

ACET is the abbreviation for  Actuarial Common Entrance Test. Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI) is a statutory body that was established under the Actuaries Act 2006 for regulation of the profession of Actuaries in India.

Students can enroll themselves as student members of IAI. ACET 2018 Exam Schedule (December Session) has been released now.

This exam is conducted every year for the admission in  Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI) and hence only one national level exam is conducted and not the state level exams.

ACET entrance exam for admission in undergraduate management program is conducted by the  Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI). This entrance exam is conducted for those candidates planning to enroll as student members of IAI. By this process, the candidates will get admission in undergraduate degree and diploma.

ACET Hall Ticket 2018

After 4-15 days of registrations last date, candidates receive an email from ATTEST asking them to select their test center, exam date & time slot for the examination. Candidates after booking the ACET 2018 exam, have to print their Admit card (Hall Ticket) and bring it to the exam center.

It will be done on first come first serve basis & no changes will be accepted once the slot booking has been done.

It is necessary to carry a Government issued photo Id proof (Aadhaar card, driving license, passport, voter ID card or PAN card), in original. 12th standard students can carry their 12th class exam hall ticket or school ID card having attached photograph with duly attested in original. Without all these required documents, no candidate will be allowed to appear in the examination.

ACET Registration 2018

  • Candidates can check here details on how to fill out the application form:
  • The registration form is available only via the online mode.
  • Online registration for ACET in December will begin on 16th August 2018.
  • Candidates are informed to fill out the application form by the deadline of 31st October 2018.
  • It is mandatory to download the color passport size picture (4.5 cm long x 3.5 cm wide).
  • Candidates can print and save this document for further processing.

Application fees 2018

The counseling fee of ACET 2018 is  Rs. 3000/– for every category candidate. There can be different modes of payment for counseling fees. The fee can be paid through Credit/Debit Card/Net banking.

The counseling registration fee will NOT be returned to any of the candidates under any circumstances.

ACET Results 2018

ACET Result has been declared through candidate loginFor taking student membership in IAI, ACET result will be valid only for three years from the result declaration date.

The date of release of the result will be in the mid of April. The list will be category wise merit list only for those candidates who are eligible. The merit list will be displayed on the University official website.

It is mandatory to upload the color passport size photograph (4.5 cm length x 3.5 cm width).

  • Candidates can take a printout and keep that safe for further process.
 All the candidates will have to fill all the details of their own in the application form of ACET. The filled information should be rechecked by the candidates to avoid the mistakes. The recheck is necessary to avoid miss typing and other chances of errors. Once the checking is done the candidate will now submit the application form and after submitting the application form the candidate will not be allowed to edit further and entries can’t be changed.

All the candidates applying should make sure that they have appeared for ACET and have qualified it. The candidates passed the exam with flying colors can only appear for the counseling and registration process further.

The application form will include details like name, number etc that is personal details, academic details, the area you belong to and other related and relevant details. After that, fill up the details such as courses studied and obtained marks percentage, age, the address for communication, etc. Upload a 35X45 vivid photo of the candidate. Once after that, pay the application fee via Debit card/Credit Card/Internet banking. After transferring the payment successfully, you will get a receipt on your registered email address and Mobile Phone. This details will be filled first and then the procedure will be completed by paying the application fees.

ACET Admit Card 2018

The candidates who applied for the entrance examination can check for the admit card on the official website of ACET. The admit card will be downloaded by the candidate from the official website of ACET. The download of admit card will be for a limited period of time. ACET admit card will be given online through candidate IAI membership login.

The candidates will have to give information or log in using id and personal information to access the admit card. After validation in that site, the candidate will be allowed to download the admit card. There will be the deadline for downloading ACET admit card and candidate are requested to download before the due date.

After 4-15 days of registrations last date, candidates will receive an email from ATTEST asking them to select their test center, exam date & time slot for the examination. All the candidates will have to carry the admit card to the examination hall or the online examination centre. In case candidate loses or forget to bring the admit card to the centre the candidate NOT be allowed to sit for the examination. The admit card is mandatory to give the examination.

Some important steps to Download ACET Admit card


  • Visit the official link shared above on this page to directly access the admit card download page.
  • Enter your registered email id and password for logging in the space provided, and then press submit.
  • After you are login to the account, click on download admit card. ACET 2018 admit card was displayed on the screen.
  • Download it and print at least two clear copies of the admit card, where all details are clearly visible.
  • Remember to carry all printed copies to the examination hall.

ACET Eligibility Criteria 2018


Eligibility criteria are the set of conditions that a candidate needs to satisfy when appearing for a particular examination. The rules are by the examination conducting authorities only.  There are some set of rules that are mentioned below to provide reading candidates with the details and conditions of the examination:

  • Candidates have to qualify their 10+2 examination or equivalent examination with English as one of the subjects.
  • Candidates who already in education at higher levels and also those working and having qualifications in mathematical subjects, they can also appear for the entrance exam.
  • Graduate, Postgraduate, Engineering students, management students, chartered and cost accountants, company secretaries, degree holders in mathematical and statistical sciences etc, can also appear.
  • No Age bar and No Attempts limit.

ACET Counselling 2018


The counselling date and procedure for ACET counselling will release on its official website of ACET.This counselling also contains Admission Procedure for this the student   The candidates are provided with the address and contact information so that the candidate can get the required information properly.

Based on the exam result, the institute prepare final merit list and the names of candidates added to the final merit list will later call for counselling secession.  Verification of the candidate will require a valid mobile no. fr new user or even for registered user. There will be more than one round of counselling so the candidate who fails to register in the 1st round of counselling will not be permitted to register in 2nd and subsequent rounds of counselling.

The final selection for ACET 2018 will be made on the basis of the following parameters and weight-ages:

The documents that are required at the time of counselling should be self-attested. The documents required for ACET counselling are:

  • Candidates have to carry the admit card with attested photograph and its photocopy.
  • One attested copy of Senior Secondary Examination mark sheet
  • One attested photocopy of the confirmed result of qualifying exam (XIIth standard).
  • Original certificate that states a candidate belongs to the particular category
  • Latest Income Certificate of the parents (applicable only to the candidates belonging to OBC category) original and one self-attested photocopy.
  • Class X Board Examination Certificate
  • Class X Marks-Sheet
  • Class XII Marks-Sheet
  • Class XII Provisional Certificate / Original Certificate
  • Character Certificate (recent)
  • SC/ST/PWD/CW Certificate (in the name of the candidate) issued by the competent authority
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Certificate (in the name of the Candidate) issued by competent authority. In case the OBC Certificate is before 1st April 2015, then a proof for the Non-Creamy Layer Status.
  • Transfer Certificate from school/college as well as Migration Certificate from Board / University are required from those students who have passed senior secondary exam from outside city.
  • At least two passport size self-attested photographs.

ACET Exam Pattern 2018


The exam will be written exam of ACET and this will be conducted in the first week of January 2019. The exam conducting authority Delhi University, Delhi, India conducts the exam once in a year to offer admission for undergraduate and postgraduate courses at colleges participating in the ACET.

Exam pattern is as follows:

  • Candidates have to appear for one paper only and the exam duration will be 3 hours.
  • The question paper will contain 70 Multiple Choices Questions (MCQs) and the paper will be set in English language only.
  • The exam is conducted for 100 marks.
  • There are two sections in the question paper and the questions of Section I will contain 55% of weightage and Section II will contain 45% of weightage.
  • Each correct answer will lead to the addition of one mark. There will be negative marking is applicable to wrong answers.
  • Marks will be deducted for each wrong answer, that is there is NEGATIVE MARKING.
