Will there be any PIN distribution this time like the previous admissions?

No, as part of the registration process, candidates need to pay the registration fees online through Credit Card/Net Banking/UPI interfaces instead of using a PIN.

Do I need to register differently for different courses like Civil, Mech, Electrical, etc.?

No, you do not need to register separately for different courses.

What documents are needed to register or create a profile?

The following documents are required in electronic form for smooth registration:

Birth Date Proof (School Leaving certificate/Aadhar Card)
SSC mark sheet
Valid Income certificate (for TFWs if eligible)
All semester ITI Mark sheets (if applicable)

When can I say my registration is complete?

Registration is considered complete after creating a profile, entering all necessary details, uploading relevant documents, and paying the online registration fee.

How much is the registration fee?

The registration fee for one registration is 250/- rupees for the current year.

Will I definitely get admission if I complete the registration within the specified time limit?

Admission is contingent upon several factors, including following all necessary processes within the specified time limit, receiving a merit number, and having the chosen seat available according to your merit.

Can I upload an individual mark sheet if I have more than one mark sheet?

No, it is compulsory to upload a single pdf file for all mark sheets.

What is the validity of the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) certificate?

For the latest updates on the validity of the EWS certificate, kindly refer to the official website of the Social Justice and Empowerment Department of Gujarat State.

What should I take care of while registering (filling up the form)?

All information filled is crucial. Fill in all details carefully to ensure a smooth admission process. Verify all information before submitting the form.

Can I upload jpeg format of all documents?

No, documents must be uploaded in PDF format, except for the photograph.

How can I make a PDF of all documents?

Use a scanner on a computer/laptop or download a scanning app on a smartphone/tablet to directly save documents in PDF format.

What should I check after uploading the document before confirming?

Zoom in on the uploaded document to ensure it is readable and appropriate before confirming.

Can I upload a file whose size is not within the specified limit?

No, all documents must be uploaded within the specified limit for each document.

How can I reduce the file size?

Use online options or apps to compress/reduce file size either on a computer/laptop or a smartphone/tablet.

What are the fees to be paid for registration at the cyber space centres?

The designated cyber space centres (e–centres) are for facilitation purposes and are free of cost. There is no separate fee for registration.

Can I do online registration from home?

Yes, you can register online from anywhere with internet access.

How can I edit registration details before and after confirming?

Before confirmation, edit details online. After confirmation, contact the provided number: 079-26566000.

If the income certificate is in the name of the mother, will it be valid?

Yes, in cases of divorce or demise of the father, an income certificate in the name of the mother is valid.

From where can I get certificates of Caste, Income, physically handicapped, and In/Ex-Service men?

Certificates can be obtained from designated authorities as per the guidelines provided on the official website.

What should I do if the name in School LC and other required certificates is not matching?

Correct the name on the required certificates immediately through the issuing authority.

If I have studied from outside Gujarat, what is the procedure for admission through ACPDC?

If you are a resident of Gujarat, submit a domicile certificate. If not, you are eligible for 5% seats in Government and Grant-in-Aid institutions.

Which services are considered for the Category of Services?

Services considered include those under Central Government, Public Sector Undertakings, nationalized banks, international institutions, Gujarat cadre officers, and defence services.

What is the level of disability for availing seats under the PH (Physically Handicapped) quota?

Not less than 40%.

If both parents are not alive, then who can act as a guardian for caste and income certificates?

A legal guardian. If there is no legal guardian, the candidate is considered an orphan, and in such a case, no income certificate is required, but an orphan certificate is necessary.

Is a student of any category eligible to apply for TFWS (Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme)?

Yes, any category student can apply for TFWS, subject to a valid income certificate issued by a competent authority.

How can I check my merit rank?

After the declaration of merit rank, candidates can verify their rank by logging into their module at the NIC website. The rank will also be reflected in registration details.

Where can I get information about the various colleges and branches under ACPDC?

How many choices can one candidate fill?

Candidates can fill all available choices. There is no maximum limit on the number of choices in the choice filling module.

Can a candidate change the filled choices?

Yes, choices can be edited within the stipulated time decided by ACPDC.

If filled choices are not locked, is it safe to log out?

There is no need to lock filled choices until the completion of the choice filling process. However, the choices filled should be saved before logging out.

How many times can choices be edited?

Unlimited times within the stipulated time decided by ACPDC.

If a candidate wants to go for reshuffling, do they need to report at the admitted institute?

No, there is no need to report at the admitted institute for reshuffling.

If a candidate wants to go for reshuffling, do they need to pay fees at the admitted institute?

No, candidates are required to pay fees only after the completion of the online admission process.

If I get admission of choice in the mock round, can I secure it?

No, the mock round is for practice, and securing a seat is not applicable.

If the seats in the reserved quota are full, can a candidate from SC/ST/SEBC/PH/ESM/EWS get admission in the Open category?

No, category candidates are allotted first in open category seats. Only if those seats are not available will reserved category seats be allotted.

If an SC/ST/SEBC candidate gets admission under open category, will they be eligible for a government scholarship?

Yes, if the candidate meets other requirements for eligibility for a scholarship.

Where is information for the fee structure of self-finance institutes available?

The fee structure information for self-finance institutes is available on the Fee Regulatory Committee website www.frctech.ac.in, and fee details are provided in the Information Booklet.

After allotment, in how many days do candidates have to report at the admitted institute?

It is advisable to report within 3 working days if candidates do not want to participate in the next round of admission. Fees are to be paid after the completion of the online admission process.

Is there any reservation or special quota for girls?

No, there is no reservation or special quota for girls.

How and when do I get information for the availability of vacant seats in various institutes?

Information about vacant seats is available on the website www.acdpc.co.in immediately after the allotment of seats in each round.

How can I check whether elsewhere I could have got admission?

Check the cut-off marks details posted on the official website after each round of seat allotment.

If I get admission in the management quota, can I still go for reshuffling in the regular quota?

Yes, candidates can go for reshuffling in the regular quota even if they get admission in the management quota.

How to confirm the allotted seat?

If I have passed with Basic Mathematics in Std 10, am I eligible for admission in Diploma Engineering?

Yes, candidates passed with Mathematics or Basic mathematics or Standard mathematics in Std. 10 are eligible for admission in Diploma Engineering.

Who can get admission in Diploma Engineering?

Any candidate of Std 10 with a mark sheet stating “QUALIFIED FOR SECONDARY SCHOOL CERTIFICATE” can get admission in Diploma Engineering.

Is there any provision for Orphan and for Widow to get SEBC category benefit in Diploma Engineering admission?

Yes, orphans of any caste and widows of any caste can get SEBC category benefit by providing the relevant certificates during registration.

If I have passed a 2-year ITI Certificate Course, can I get Lateral entry admission in any diploma course or in a corresponding diploma course according to the trade?

Yes, candidates who have passed the eligible certificate course can get admission in any diploma course as per the rules mentioned on the official website of ACPDC.

If I have not confirmed the admission allotted during the first round, can I get admission in the same course and the same Institute during the second round?

No.

If I do not have my own bank account, which account number can be filled during the registration process for diploma admission?

If a candidate does not have their own bank account, they can fill the details of a bank account jointly held with their parents.

What if I do not fill in the bank account details during the registration process for diploma admission?

If the candidate does not fill in the bank details, and if eligible for a refund of the token tuition fees, they must accept the norms regarding the method of refund as decided by ACPDC.
