In general, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham better known as Amrita University will organize the entrance examination AEEE 2020. What is worth knowing is that Amrita Engineering Entrance Examination (AEEE), a university level entrance exam is a part of admission criteria.

Going through this exam is a must for pursuing four-year degree course in engineering (B. Tech). The application form for AEEE 2020 will be issued by the university partnered with other institutes. Application procedures will come around April 2020.

This exam is conducted each year to churn out the best of aspirants for B. Tech( 4 -year) in AU. The details for the entrance examination along with other details are mentioned in the article.

AEEE 2020 Important Dates

AEEE 2020 all relevant dates to exam are listed in the table. Candidates may follow the dates to fill the application form.

AEEE 2020 Application Form

The candidates can fill and submit the KEEE 2020 Application Form through online or offline

• The notification will be released at the start of October 2019.
• The aspirants may start their procedures for application from December 2019.
• Once the March exceeds, you can’t get access to the AEEE 2020 Application Form.
• For registration, give your name, date of birth and contact no.
• After that, you will receive the registration no and password which further used as admit card no.
• Provide other required application details such as category, degree, gender, nationality, residence, and several other details.
• There are some valid documents to be attested to the application form which includes the photograph of student and signature (carefully examined) along with the important academic degree.
• After presenting all documents in a considerate manner, you must proceed with the payment of the fee.

Application Fee

• The application fee will be Rs. 1000.
• Those opting for offline application will pay via Demand Draft (DD).
• The demand draft must be accepted under “Amrita School of Engineering” paid at “Coimbatore.”
• Those opting for online application will pay via Net Banking/ debit/credit card.

AEEE 2020 Eligibility Criteria

• Aspirants applying for AEEE must be bearing the D.O.B certificate mentioning 1st July 1999 as their date of birth.
• Aspirants should complete the Intermediate or related exam from a reputed university/board with Physics, chemistry and Mathematics subject with 55% marks required marks in each subject and 60% in PCM.
• Aspirants pursuing their exam will also be included in the admission list.
• The willing aspirants will need to bear Diploma (3^rd year) in Engineering.
• Minimum Qualification: The candidates those studying in 12^th standard or passed in 2018 are eligible to apply.
• Minimum Mark: Candidate must have 60% aggregate marks in 12^th
• Subject: Minimum 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics is compulsory.

AEEE 2020 Exam Pattern

• The AEEE 2020 will be classified into two distinct sections. One would be a Pen & Paper Based Test (P&P) and the second one would be the Computer Based Test (CBT).
• Three marks will be received for the correct answer, and one mark will be removed for an incorrect answer.
• The structure of paper will be defined in the English language.
• The exam will be consisting of 300 marks with the span of 2 ½ hours.
• There will come 100 questions in the examination.
• Mode of Exam: Examination will be conducted in both online and offline mode.
• Pen and Paper Test (PPT): PPT will be conducted only in Tamil Nadu, one slot on one day while computer Based Test (CBT), on five days with three slots on each day.
• Type of Questions: All the questions will be in the form of MCQ.
• No. of Questions: There will be total 100 questions in the exam. Thirty items will be from both Physics & Chemistry, and 40 questions will be from Mathematics.
• Duration of Exam: The duration of the exam will be of 150 minutes.
• I am marking Scheme: +3 for the correct answer, -1 for a wrong answer and 0 for not attempted.

Mathematics Syllabus

• Major parts of Mathematics will include Linear Inequalities, Complex Numbers, Sequences and Series, Permutations and Combinations, Trigonometry, Binomial Theorem, Differential Equations, Two Dimensional Geometry, Matrices and Determinants, The straight line and pair of straight lines, Probability, Quadratic Equations, Three Dimensional Geometry, Relations and Functions, Conic Sections, Measures of Central Tendency and Dispersion, Vector Algebra, Differential Calculus, Circles and Family of Circles and Integral Calculus.

Physics Syllabus

• Major parts of Physics will include Mechanics, Units and dimensions, Solids and fluids, Electrostatics, current electricity and magnetostatics, Oscillations and waves, Modern physics, Heat and thermodynamics, Ray and wave optics, Electromagnetic induction, and electromagnetic waves

Chemistry Syllabus

• Atomic structure, chemical bonding and molecular structure, Hydrogen, Basic concepts, P – block elements, S – block elements, D, f – block elements, Electrochemistry, kinetics and surface chemistry, Equilibrium and thermodynamics, Environmental Chemistry, Chemistry in everyday life, Co-ordination compounds, Solid state and solutions, Aldehydes, ketones, carboxylic acids and amines, Basic organic chemistry and techniques, Polymers and biomolecules, Hydrocarbons, haloarenes and haloalkanes and Alcohols, phenols and others.

AEEE 2020 Slot Booking

Candidates those will apply for the online exam can book their slot for the examination. If any candidate doesn’t book his/her slot, then slot of such candidates will be booked automatically. The slot booking process will be stared from the first week of April 2020.

AEEE 2020 Admit Card

Followed by the slot selection process, the admit card will be generated at the website.

• The admit card will be available on the official website, and it is mandatory to carry the admit card in the examination hall otherwise they will not be permitted to take the exam.
• Interested students who achieve the eligibility criteria defined by the officials will be able to access the AEEE 2020 Hall Ticket.
• Students will download the admit card by entering application number and date of birth.
• It is mandatory to bring admit card at the time of examination.
• Admit card will contain all the information regarding exam like roll number, exam center, etc.
• Students are waiting eagerly for the admit card for the exam to know all the important details regarding the examination.
• Admit card will not be sent by post.

AEEE 2020 Result

The students can view the Result on the website after the examination.

• The result will be declared in the first week of May 2020.
• For downloading the result, they need to include registration number and DOB.
• The officials will release the AEEE scorecard along with the result formally.
• The scorecard will present the marks scored by each student in the exam.
• After the result, the merit list will appear helping officials to decide their skill and merit for admission.
• The admission is secured as per the merit list.
• After the announcement of the scorecard, AIEEE will conduct admission procedures for those candidates who’ve been shortlisted.
• The cut off marks will differ for courses which is the minimum marks required for admission into the course.
• The officials select students by merit in the exam.

AEEE 2020 Rank List

The authority will publish the classification list after the declaration of the result. The ranking list will be established based on the performance of the candidates for the entrance examination. The list of qualifications will be published on the University website the first week of May 2020.

According to the grades obtained by the candidates in the written test, the authority will assign the different grades to all the candidates who have appeared. Depending on the rank of candidates, they will be asked for advice.

AEEE 2020 Counselling

• The AEEE 2020 counseling will occur in May 2020.
• For pursuing further counseling events, they need to pay Rs — 5000 using demand draft.
• The counseling letter will not be posted or mailed to the participating students.
• The counseling will be held at three campuses one after another.
• Students will need to choose the campus based on their choice and availability of seat.
