AP Agriculture Polytechnic notification:

AP University has announced the notification for the admission in agricultural science for the academic year.

To develop a career in agricultural science, candidates shall be from the science stream, after 12th science, candidates are suggested to take admission in B.SC. (age).

Admissions in this course will be made only as per the rule of reservations of ANGRAU based on the merit list.

Through the Entrance examination in Telugu language (objective type) to be conducted at the College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad for Telangana region polytechnic candidates.

Interested candidates may apply for admission online from the official website.

The candidate also has to pay some money via DD (demand draft), which is Rs. 300/- only, this fee is only applicable for the general category.

Hence for ST/ SC & PH candidates required to pay only 150 Rs.

AP Agriculture Polytechnic eligibility criteria:

Only eligible candidates can apply for this course, the candidates must have studied at least for 4 years during the period of first to tenth class schools located in rural areas (non-municipal area).

The candidates those who are residing in the rural area and those who have passed S.S.C or equivalent exam are eligible, for the examination.

Those who wish to get admission in this course it is necessary to score minimum 55% marks excluding Hindi subject this percentage will be applicable only for candidates who are from the general category.

For the ST/SC/ PH and any other backward class categories candidates shall have minimum of 45% of marks.

All the Polytechnic courses will be in Telugu Medium of instruction. 

Age limit:

For the admission in the polytechnic courses in university, the candidates shall be required to have completed 15 years of age.

As on 31st August of the year of admission with an upper age limit of 22 years.

Admission in agriculture polytechnic required minimum age limit 15 years and the maximum age limit is 22 years.

AP Agriculture Polytechnic Reservation weight categories wise:

a) total reservation of seats for Backwards Classes is = 29%

BC-A -7%

BC – B -10%

BC – C -1%

BC – D -7%

BC – E -4%.

b) Scheduled Castes(SC) = 15 %

c) Scheduled Tribes(ST) = 6%

d) women = 33.3%

e) Physically Disabled – 3 %

Each under Visually, Hearing, Orthopedically impaired categories

Other Reservations:
