AIPVTAIPVT 2020 Mop-Up Round Counseling has been started on 10th February 2021. Online Counseling Registration has been started on 2nd January 2021. AIPVT 2020 Admission will be Done through NEET Exam. All India Pre-Veterinary Test (AIPVT) was a famous national level entrance test conducted by the Veterinary Council of India (VCI). This entrance test was performed for admission to B.V.Sc. & A.H Courses.

Through this test, 15% of All India Quota seats in the Veterinary Colleges in India (except Jammu & Kashmir State) and 85% state quota seats in the veterinary colleges of participating states are being filled.

Now, it is conducted to offer admission into B.V.Sc. And A.H. courses under 15% Quota seats. Admission in veterinary courses will be given to the candidates by NEET 2020 merit list. The examination was held once a year. Through this examination, admission into this course will be made under 15 % of All India Quota seats (except Jammu & Kashmir).

AIPVT Exam Dates 2020

AIPVT Application Form 2020

Candidates can fill their AIPVT 2020 Application Form in online mode as no other mode will be accepted to receive an application form.

  • Candidates will be able to fill their AIPVT application form from October/November 2020.
  • The application form filling last date without the late fee will be November 2020.
  • The candidate has to fill in the personal details in the registration form along with providing the contact number and a valid e-mail ID.
  • After registration candidate will be navigated to the online application form.
  • The candidate has to fill the all required details like personal, academic, and address along with uploading the scanned images of photograph, signature, and thumb impression.
  • After remitting the application fee, the candidate has to submit the filled application form online only.

Application Fee

  • Candidates can pay the application fees through RGTS/NEFT.
  • The application fee will be non-refundable.

AIPVT 2021

The Veterinary Council of India (VCI) is the conducting body of the AIPVT 2021 examination and through this examination; applicants will get admission in 449 Bachelors of Veterinary Sciences (B.V.Sc) and A.H. seats in around 41 government veterinary colleges across India. From the 2nd week of July to the 3rd week of July 2021, the AIPVT 2021 Application Form will be available.

AIPVT 2020 Eligibility

Before applying to AIPVT 2020, Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

  • The applicant should be an Indian citizen (except the State of Jammu & Kashmir).
  • Candidates must have the age of 17 years as on or before 31st December of the academic year of admission.
  • The upper age limit for the candidates seeking admission under 15% of all India quota seats is 25 years as of 31st December Candidates belonging from SC/ST/OBC shall be relaxed with five years in the upper age limit.
  • Candidates should have passed/appearing 10+2 as a qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English subjects.
  • The qualifying examination must be passed with 50% aggregate marks scored in PCB and English.
  • Candidates belonging to Jammu & Kashmir state are not eligible for 15% All India Quota seats. If they claim eligibility, they have to upload a self-declaration. 

Detailed Eligibility

  • Nationality: Indian candidates are eligible to apply.
  • Foreign nationals must confirm their eligibility from the concerned medical/state before applying.
  • Candidates who are from J&K must submit the affidavit to the allocated college at the time of admission.
  • Age Limit: The candidate’s age must lie between 17 years to 25 years (as on or before 31st December 2019).
  • There will be five years of age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC category candidates.
  • Qualification: Candidates must pass 12th or its equivalent with the recognized board.
  • Minimum Marks: Candidates must have scored 50% aggregate marks in PCM and English subjects. Candidates must have obtained 47.5% aggregate marks in the 12th class.         

Age Criteria

  • Minimum Age Limit: Candidates age should be 17 years on or before 31st December 2020.

Maximum Age Limit: The candidate’s age should not be exceeded to 25 years on or before 31st December 2020.

Relaxation: For SC/ST/OBC category, five years of relaxation in the maximum age limit.

  • 01 January 1989 to 01 January 2003 (SC/ST/OBC Category)
  • 01 January 1994 to 01 January 2003 (General Category)

Qualification Criteria:

  • Qualifying Exam: Pass the qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology, and English (as a core course) subjects.
  • OR Pass an examination equivalent to intermediate science examination of an Indian University, or Board recognized by the AIU (Association of Indian Universities) taking Physics, Chemistry & Biology including a practical test in each of these subjects and English.
  • Minimum Marks: Pass the above examination with 50% aggregate marks in English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Biotechnology subjects.
  • Candidates should pass class 12th with 47.5% total marks (43.5% for SC/ST or other special categories).

AIPVT 2020 Exam Pattern

  • Questions Type: The question paper of AIPVT 2020 will consist of 180 objective type questions.
  • There will be four alternative options with a single correct answer.
  • Mode of Language: The medium of the question paper will be English and Hindi.
  • Marking Scheme: Each correct answer contains 4 marks.
  • Negative Marking: For the incorrect answer, one mark will be deducted from the negative marking.
  • Duration: The duration of the test shall be 3 hours.

AIPVT 2020 Syllabus 

There is no detailed AIPVT syllabus prescribed by the board, but questions will be taken from the 11th and 12th streams under the pattern of 10+2/intermediate/pre-medical university/12th board. Somehow books from the NCERT and CBSE may be useful.


Class XI:

  • Physical World and Measurement Kinematics Laws of Motion Work, Energy and Power Motion of System of Particles and Rigid Body Gravitation Properties of Bulk Matter Thermodynamics Behaviour of Perfect Gas and Kinetic Theory Oscillations and Waves
  • The frame of reference, Motion in a straight line; Position-time graph, speed, and velocity. Uniform and non-uniform motion, average speed, and instantaneous velocity. Uniformly accelerated motion, velocity-time, and position-time graphs, for uniformly accelerated motion (graphical treatment).
  • Elementary concepts of differentiation and integration for describing motion. Scalar and vector quantities:
    Position and displacement vectors, general vectors, general vectors and notation, equality of vectors,
    multiplication of vectors by a real number; addition and subtraction of vectors. Relative velocity.
  • Unit vectors. Resolution of a vector of plane-rectangular components.

Class XII:

AIPVT Admit Card 2020

AIPVT 2020 Admit card can be downloaded from the official website. The tentative schedule for hosting of Admit cards on the site will be the 2nd week of April 2020. Admit Card must be preserved till the admission process gets over.

Candidates can download their NEET 2020 Admit Card from the website. The admit card will be available online mode in the second week of April 2020. All the candidates are required to bring the admit card to the examination hall to sit in the exam.

  • Access the official AIPVT website.
  • Enter the details: registration number and password.
  • Click on the link “Admit AIPVT.”
  • Candidates must download the admission card with the proforma. They must also paste a passport size photo into the proforma.

AIPVT Answer Key 2020

 The answer key will be displayed via the online mode via the site. The answer key will be disseminated within one week of the review. Candidates may also have the opportunity to challenge the answer key. Candidates are required to pay Rs. 1000 / – per question to challenge the answer key.

The authority establishes a list of merits based on the marks obtained during the admission examination.

The merit list will be prepared separately for all categories. The AIPVT consultation process will be organized online. First, candidates are required to complete and block their college options according to their rank. After the assignment of the placement, candidates must inform the assigned university to complete the admission formalities.

The counseling schedule will be published as per the candidate’s merit/waitlist on the website. Candidates will also be intimated through email and SMS. Candidates are required to appear in the counseling round with all the necessary documents for verification. Seat allotment letters will be issued on the same day of counseling. The AIPVT counseling 2020 will be held in the first week of August 2020.

AIPVT Result 2020

The exam authority will publish the AIPVT 2020 Result in online mode. Candidates can check their results for the allocation of a seat on the website. All the candidates will be able to check their results in the last week of November 2020.

  • The council will publish the AIPVT 2020 Result online through its official website.
  • It is expected that the Result will be announced by the last week of November 2020.
  • Only the successful candidates will be eligible for admission to the academic year 2020.

Candidates can check their results by entering their roll number and date of birth. Candidates will have to take a printout of the Result for further admission procedure. The Result will contain the details of allocated college to candidates as per merit of choice per ranks.

AIPVT Counselling 2020

As of 2017, the board decided to use the NEET UG merit list to allow admission to veterinary courses of less than 15% of the AQI seats. Applicants must meet the above eligibility criteria that are decided by the VCI. The AIPVT 2020 Counseling will only be held in one round.

The AIPVT 2020 Counseling will be conducted by VCI. The seats will be allocated to the candidates based on rank, availability of seats, age, qualifications, etc. The counseling will be organized through online mode. Candidates have to report to the allotted college after seat allotment in the last week of August to the 1st week of November 2020.

Allocation of Seats

  • Candidates verify the Result of the seat assignment online by clicking on the RESULT link.
  • The Result will be declared in the second week of September 2020 in PDF format. In the results card, details about the university, the election, and the granted rank will be given.
  • Applicants must download their award letters for admission to the assigned university.
  • The seat assignment will be made by the online council. Candidates will not be individually informed of the consultation in offline mode.
  • The seat will be assigned to the candidates according to the choices made and the seat availability in their grade subject to satisfactory criteria regarding nationality, age, essential qualification, etc.
  • Assignment/advice will be organized according to the category classification (UR / SC / ST / UR-PH / SC-PH / ST-PH) only.
  • The attribution/advice of the candidates of the OBC category will be made with the candidates of the GEN category.
