AIPVT 2023: Counselling (Started), Dates, Allotment Result, Admission Procedure

AIPVT 2023 Counselling Registration has been Started on 22nd September 2023. The result has been Declared through NEET UG. AIPVT 2023 admissions are organised by the Veterinary Council of India. This is a national-level admission for willing candidates. And it is conducted every year. The AIPVT 2023 exam is now replaced by the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET).

Candidates get admission in  B.V.Sc and A.H Degree courses. These courses will be five and a half years, with a compulsory one-year internship. The admission process into the veterinary course is now offered based on the NEET UG performance of the candidates.

AIPVT 2023 Application Form 

The application form is the first step an applicant has to follow for admission. This is a critical step. All applicants must carefully fill in their details in the application form.

The AIPVT 2023 application form will be released online mode. Make sure you are reading all the instructions carefully. If any candidates do not fill out the application form, they will not be allowed to take the exam. All the other important details for the AIPVT 2023 exam are given below. 

• One candidate is allowed to fill out only one application form.
• All applicants must upload the documents online, photographs, and other essential documents. 
• Every instruction related to the application form is important, so read it carefully. 
• The AIPVT 2023 application forms will be released on the official website.
• The start date to submit the application form for AIPVT 2023 will be from 1st week of April 2023. 
• The last date to submit the application form for AIPVT 2023 will be the 2nd week of May 2023. 
• To avoid cancellation, candidates should not make any mistakes of any kind. 
• Information like your name, date of birth, etc., is essential, and you should be filled in without any mistakes.

Steps to fill out the Application Form

Step-1: Visit the website of AIPVT 2023.

Step 2: A registration link will be available on the home page. Click on that. 

Step 3: After clicking the link, candidates must enter their email ID and mobile number on the website. 

Step-4: Candidates must fill the application form with academic, personal and other details. 

Step 5: Upload the scanned images and signature according to the format.

Step 6: Candidates need to pay the application fee online only. 

Step-7: Take the printout of the application form. 

AIPVT 2023 Application Fee 

The application fee is the next important thing every candidate has to do. All applicants must pay some amount as an application fee for this exam. The fee is set by the exam conducting authority. 

The application fee for this exam will be paid online. If any candidate fails to pay the application fee, then they will not be allowed to give the exam. You can pay the fee from various gateways like credit cards, debit cards, net banking, and drafts. The application fee for AIPVT 2023 is given below. 

• General category: INR 1000/-
• EWS/OBC: INR 900/-
• SC/ST/PH: INR 500/-

AIPVT 2023 Application From Correction 

The application form for AIPVT 2023 will be released online on the official website. If any candidate wants to edit details, then they can do so, as a correction window will be opened for the candidates. But only some details can be corrected and not every. 

It is advised that the candidates read the instructions carefully and then only submit the form. Check the details twice before submitting. No candidate can make the changes once the form correction dates are closed. 

AIPVT 2023 Eligibility Criteria 

The eligibility criteria refer to the qualifications of every candidate. Every candidate needs to follow some qualifications to be eligible to appear in the exam. This is set by the exam or admission conducting authorities. 

Make sure you are reading this criterion before filling out the application form. If any candidate does not fit the criteria, then they will not be allowed to give the exam. The AIPVT 2023 Eligibility criteria are given below. 

• Nationality 

The candidates should be Indian citizens. 

• Age Limit 

The candidates must be of minimum 17 years as on 31st December 2023. 

• Qualification 

The applicant must have passed the class 12th exam with subjects like Physics, biology, chemistry, English and biotechnology. 

• Exam

The candidates must have qualified for NEET UG 2023. 

• An overseas citizen of India/person of origin

The overseas OCI/PIO are also eligible for online registration for counselling in admission to BV.Sc and A.H courses are under the 15% quota. 

AIPVT 2023 Admission Procedure 

The selection of the candidates for admission will be based on their NEET UG scores. No entrance exam will be conducted, the exam authorities will choose the candidates based on their performance in the NEET UG exam. 

The admission will be based on courses like A.H. and BVS.c course. The candidates will get admission based on the candidate’s scores in NEET UG. They have to score good ranks. The admission in both the courses of A.H. and BVS.c will be based on the merit list and merit list rank in NEET UG 2023 exam. 

AIPVT 2023 Reservation Seats 

The reservation for AIPVT 2023 will apply to some categories mentioned in the central list of OBC. The candidates who would be failing in this category may mention OBC in the category column of the application form. 

• 15% seats are reserved for SC candidates. 
• 10% of seats are reserved for EWS candidates. 
• 5% of seats are reserved for ST candidates. 
• 27% of seats are reserved for OBC candidates. 

AIPVT 2023 Result 

The result for AIPVT 2023 will be released online on the official website. The result will be released online only and not offline. All the candidates can check their results online by entering their login details. They can also see the allocation of seats. Every candidate is advised to take a printout of the result for further use. 

AIPVT 2023 Counselling 2023 

The counselling for admissions will be done online. Counselling for the course A.H and BVS.c under the 15% seats in recognized veterinary colleges on an All India basis will be conducted by the VCI through NIC. 

The seats to the candidates will be allotted based on the seats available, the NEET rank of the candidates and the choice of candidates of the subjects to fulfil the criteria, age, nationality, qualification and more. The seat allotment will be in respect of the recognised veterinary colleges in India. 

The eligibility criteria of each candidate will be examined along with documents by allotted colleges/universities at the time of their reporting for admission. The decision of the colleges or universities will be final. 

The candidates will get seats in the first round of counselling, report for admission within the scheduled dates, and have an opportunity for the up gradation. And they can do this by re-choice filling in the second round of the counselling session. And the seat allotted in round 1 will be cancelled after seat allotment in round 2. 

AIPVT 2023 Admission Procedure

After the counselling is done, the candidates should visit the allotted colleges. All the candidates must carry the allotment letter when they visit the college or university. And along with this, they will have to carry some documents as well. 

If the candidates reach the college late, they might lose their seats under the 15% quota. The exam authorities will verify all the documents of the candidates. The candidates’ seats will be confirmed only after the documents are verified and payment of the admission fee. The list of documents is given below.
