AMUAMU 2020 Mop-Up Round Admission List has been released on 26th February 2021. Online Counseling Registration has been started on 16th January 2021. The result has been Declared on 15th December 2020. The Exam Dates has been Revised now, the Exam was held from 22nd November to 2nd December 2020. AMU 2020 exam is a university level entrance exam conducted every year by Aligarh Muslim University. AMU is short for Aligarh Muslim University which is regarded as Public University, situated in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh.

There are courses proffered by this university for the willing aspirants in undergraduate, postgraduate, and Doctoral courses. Candidates have to qualify for the entrance test to get admission into programs like B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Sc (Hons.), B.Com (Hons.), BA (Hons), M.Sc (biotechnology), MBA, MBA (IB)/PG, etc, It has its associations with three campuses including Malappuram (Kerala), Murshidabad (West Bengal), and Kishanganj (Bihar).

One must not delay and fill the form before the date approaches. Admission into MBBS/BDS/MS/MD/MDS and PG Diploma courses will be through NEET only after registering online. Eligible students from various parts of the country, as well as foreign countries, are selected.

AMU 2020 Application Form

The AMU Registration is going to be underway as per the course from 16th January 2020. The aspirants should reach the website owned by the university.

  • Before being ready for the filling of the AMU 2020 Application Form, they must see various procedures relating to the application.
  • AMU 2020 Application Form has been released online on 16th January 2020.
  • Candidates have to register online with a working email-id & mobile number after which log-in ID & password will be sent on the same.
  • Enter the significant details in the Application Form for registration such as contact no, date of birth, aspirant’s name.
  • After a while, the university will provide your registration no and password.
  • Then, fill in other remaining information as per procedures- category, gender, parent’s name, study certificates accurately.
  • The students will then attach the scanned image of the photograph, signature, and relevant documents.

AMU 2021

AMU 2021 Entrance Examination is a university level entrance examination, which is organized through Aligarh Muslim University to offer admission to the candidates in various programs such as B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Com (Hons.), B.Sc, MBA, B.Ed, BA., LLB, etc. In the various affiliated colleges of this university, admission will offer to the candidates. The AMU Entrance Examination 2021 Application Form will be available in March and April for all programs on different dates.

AMU 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Before proceeding with application procedures, applicants are highly commended for looking at various factors considered for admission.

Maximum Age Limit for Admission

The University is constrained to define the maximum age limit of the applicants for admission to the various course of studies as given Below-

  • Candidates shall be eligible to apply for admission to only those full-time regular courses of study where they have not exceeded the maximum age limit is permissible for that course.
  • Maximum Age Limit shall be reckoned on 01st July of the year of admission.
  • Maximum/Minimum Age Limit as prescribed by the regulatory bodies, wherever applicable, shall stand for that course of study.
  • Maximum Age Limit shall not be applicable for Foreign Nationals/ employees of the University.
  • Madarsa passed out candidates shall be given relaxation up to three (03) years in the Maximum Age Limit for all course of studies at all levels.

Courses Eligibility requirements
Diploma in Engineering Completed 12th or equivalent exam with minimum 45% marks aggregate with having the subjects Mathematics, English, and Science in the qualifying exam.
B. Tech./ B.Arch. Completed 10+2 or its equivalent exam from any recognized board with at least 50% marks aggregate in the qualifying exam having the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English in the qualifying exam.

Diploma holders in engineering with 50% marks secured will also be eligible to apply for both courses.

B.A. LL.B. The age of the students must not be less than 22 years as of 1st July 2020.

Passed 12th or equivalent exam with 50% marks aggregate.

B.Ed. Passed with a graduation degree with at least 50% marks aggregate will be eligible.
B.Sc. / B.Com (Hons.) Completed 12th or equivalent exam with 55% marks aggregate having the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology and English subjects in the qualifying exam.
MBA/PG Diploma in Islamic Banking and Finance Should have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks.
M.Sc. (Biotech.) graduate with Agriculture, Biological Science, Veterinary Science, and Physical Science or Chemistry.

MBBS/B. Pharma./B. Tech. Degree with a minimum of 55% marks.

AMU 2020 Exam Pattern 

  • The exam will comprise of objective questions
  • The exam paper will only be taking place in the English medium
  • There is a negative marking regulated for B.Tech, B.Arch, and other related courses.
  • Exam Mode and Date: AMU 2020 exam will be conducted on various dates for various programs in offline mode.
  • Sections: For the B.Tech program, the question paper will consist of 3 sections – Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry.
  • Type of Questions: Multiple choice questions will be asked in the paper.
  • Number of Questions: A total of 150 questions will be there in the paper. Each section will have 50 questions.
  • Time Duration: Total time of 3 hours will be given to complete the test.
  • Total Marks: For B. Tech, the question paper will be of a total of 150 marks.
  • Marking Scheme: For each correct answer, 1 mark will be given. For incorrect answers, 0.25 marks will be deducted.

Examination mode: it will be done in pencil and paper mode.

AMU 2020 Syllabus 

  • The syllabus will differ according to the courses chosen by students.
  • The AMU university will offer a different curriculum for different courses.
  • The syllabus for B.Tech will have a designation on the 12th.
  • B. Technology: is a type of subject of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
  • MBA: environmental awareness, numerical quantitative capacity, verbal comprehension and capacity, reasoning and intelligence, and analysis and interpretation of data.
  • BA LLB: will contain topics such as general English, current/general knowledge (with emphasis on legal issues), and reasoning and aptitude.
  • For B. Tech – Questions in the AMUEEE 2020 will be from various topics of the subjects of Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry studied in the 11th and 12th level.
  • For MBA – For admission into MBA, the syllabus will contain various topics from environmental awareness, quantitative & numerical ability, comprehension & verbal ability, Reasoning & intelligence, Data analysis & interpretation.
  • For BA LLB – Topics from the syllabus of BA LLB will be from General English, Current affairs & Reasoning & Aptitude.

AMU Exam 2020 Preparation Tips

  • First, gather all the details about the official program.
  • Prepare a good schedule and prepare accordingly.
  • Get help with reference books and question papers from previous years.
  • Familiarize yourself with the pattern of the examination.
  • Do meditation and yoga; this will help you focus on your studies.

AMU 2020 Admit Card 

The aspirants can have access to Admit Card through the official page of AMU. The Admit Card is downloaded in compliance with rules and regulations set by AMU. The possession of stationery is allowed during exams excluding mobile phones, calculators, etc.

Entry for those not carrying an Admit Card at the time of the exam is forbidden. While downloading the AMU 2020 Admit Card from the website, you must have application no and password with you.  Students will get their Admit Card two days before the test. +

After downloading the Admit Card, students have to affix their recent passport size photograph on the Admit Card. No candidate will allow entering the venue without Admit Card.

AMU 2020 Answer Key

Students can obtain the AMU 2020 Answer Key through online mode only. The answer key will be available for the students who had already given the entrance examinations. The most important thing about the answer key is the students will be able to estimate the marks obtained by them.

AMU 2020 Result

Aspirants may go through the process to download the result by online means. The scorecard is marked with the student’s name, course, and exam name. The website will get you a view of your marks achieved in the exam.

The aspirants must take the date of birth and roll no while downloading the result. It will be obligatory to carry the mark sheet while taking admission. The admission process will begin after the result is made public.

AMU 2020 Cut-Off

AMU Cut off Marks will be available for the candidates only through Online Mode Only.

The Cut off marks are the minimum marks secured by the candidate and that minimum mark is the qualifying marks and this will shortlist them and those will be the eligible candidates.

To get admission into various UG & PG courses in the University, it is necessary to secure equal to or above the qualifying marks.

AMU 2020 Counselling 

The counseling process will only be started after the result session. The students who have been selected will be taken into consideration. There are various admission procedures for a particular course.

They need to attend the choice filling stage through which the course’s name is put up. The AMU will be responsible for putting the list up for selected students for admission on the website.

By scores, the students will get admission into the course of their choice. A list of selected candidates will be displayed on the notice boards of the individual departments. According to the rank in the merit list, the candidate will be called for counseling.

Seat allocation and document verification will be also done at the time of counseling.
