Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test is organized by Jawaharlal Technical University under the administration of AP State Council of Higher Education known by APSCHE.

The aspirants who have qualified this state-level test in consideration of merit list will be eligible for admission into engineering, pharmacy and b.sc programs in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The aspirants are invited for online applications with the payment of the fee.

Those completing the form will proceed further admission procedures. The B.Tech aspirants will be considered for AP ECET. The ECET is conducted offline way with the online application process.

AP ECET 2020 Application

The application form must be filled by those who were aspiring for taking up various courses in engineering, pharmacy, etc. The application form. The website where the form is available is www.sche.ap.gov.in Before downloading the way; they need to follow various steps

  • AP ECET application form 2020 will be accepted through online mode only.
  • The application form filling process will be started from the fourth week of February 2020.
  • First of all, reach the home page named as APSCHE
  • Go for option as per requirement
  • Get the application form by entering the important details for registration such as name, phone no, and email id and submit them
  • Make sure to provide each content precisely
  • You will receive the registration no, and password which will be useful for download the admit card.
  • Enter other remaining others such as category, gender, qualification, etc.
  • You also need to attach the signature, passport size photo and thumb impression along with documents.
  • Before you click on the submit option you need to re-check all the provided details and after the confirmation get the printed copy and preserve it until the end of the admission process.

Application Fee:

The application fee will be Rs. 500 / – for all applicants.
The fees can be paid at the AP online centers and also through the payment portal (credit/debit / net banking cards).

AP ECET 2020 Eligibility Criteria 

The students will have to satisfy the eligibility criteria set by the university. Those not meeting any of the factors will be disqualified from the admission.

Nationality: Applying candidate must be a citizen of India.

Qualifying Exam: Candidate must hold a diploma in Engineering & Technology or Pharmacy from State Board of Technical Education of Andhra Pradesh or any other recognized board or University

  • The candidates who have a permanent domicile in the state of Andhra Pradesh will be eligible to apply for the AP ECET 2020 Exam.
  • They need to complete their B.Sc with the subject Mathematics from a prominent university in AP will be eligible for AP ECET 2020 Or
  • Those possessing Diploma Degree in the Engineering and Pharmacy will be considered for the exam.
  • The Indian Citizen will be eligible to apply for AP ECET 2020
  • They should be securing at least 45% in their Diploma or Graduation which applies to the general class and the students from reserved class will only need to secure 40%

OR

Candidate should have passed his/her three years B.Sc degree or its equivalent from a recognized board or University.

Qualifying Subjects: Candidate must have passed his/her three years of B.Sc degree with Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with other subjects.

Qualifying Marks: Candidates in the qualifying exam must have secured 45% marks (40% for reserved candidates).

Domicile: Applying candidate must belong to Andhra Pradesh state and satisfy the local or non-local status requirement as per the State Government. Candidates of Non-Indian origin must fulfill the norms of the University.

Appearing: Candidates pursuing diploma programme are also eligible but should have passed the course before the admission.

AP ECET 2020 Exam Pattern 

Before was preparing for the exam; you need to know the exam pattern which includes some questions, exam scheme, duration and timing of review, etc. The AP ECET 2020 Syllabus will be made known on the website. The syllabus will cover all topics of the exam and through which they may efficiently plan a better strategy. It includes different sections, no of questions appearing on the review and many more.

Exam Date and Mode: AP ECET 2020 Entrance exam will be conducted in the 1st week of May 2020 through online CBT mode.

Number and Type of Questions: Total of 200 multiple choice questions will be asked in the entrance exam.

Language Medium: Question paper will be made available to the candidates in Englishlanguage only.

Total Marks: Exam will be of total 200 marks for all programmes.

Time Duration: Total time of 3 hours will be allotted to complete the paper.

Marking Scheme: 1 mark will be given for each correct answer.

  • The written test will be conducted in online mode (CBT).
  • Question Paper will bear 200 questions
  • Each question will be in an objective way
  • The language in which the paper is orientated is English.
  • The exam will continue for 180 minutes, i.e., three hours.

AP ECET 2020 Syllabus

The program will be provided according to the course for which the candidate has applied. AP ECET will contain the topics and subjects of the respective qualification examination.

The syllabus of engineering course will contain topics from 11th and 12th PCM courses. The B.Sc (Mathematics) program will include mathematics, communicative English, and analytical ability. Candidates who have applied for a pharmacy course should study topics such as pharmaceuticals, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacognosy, and pharmacology.

Preparation Tips

  • Study carefully all the program provided by the officials.
  • Begin to repair before two or three months before the test.
  • Prepare according to the newly prescribed test pattern.
  • Solve the questions from the previous year.
  • Follow the best books of the best authors.
  • Do the review daily and stay fit and healthy.

AP ECET 2020 Admit Card

The admit card is must be possessed by aspirants who intend to appear for the exam. For that purpose, they need to download it with the availability of registration no and passport or security code. It will be appeared on the official page through the AP ECET 2020 Admit Card asking for the log in details.

The admit card or hall ticket will have to be carried during the exam as the examiner will be asked to present it. It must be remembered to bring two passport size photos for your identification. One of the two is pasted on it and signed by the examination.

The aspirants should reach two hours before the exam to get identical to the exam rules and guidance. Before appearing for the exam, they must make sure to carry other documents as a proof along with admitting card such as aadhar card, pan card, passport copy, etc.

AP ECET 2020 Result

The AP ECET 2020 Score Card is produced at the official page of the university for aspirants who have qualified the national level exam. The scorecard will appear as the result which mentions the student’s name, overall scores, ranks attained in ECET 2020.

To view the ratings, they have to log in details such as roll no and date of birth, but it is informed that while logging the details, you must check all of them are correct, if not then you will not be successful in downloading the result. The resulting copy is needed to be kept safely as it is going to be shown during counseling.

AP ECET 2020 Counselling

The AP ECET 2020 Counselling will take place just after the declaration of result for the students who have been selected for admission rounds by merit and performance in the exam. For participating in the counseling, you need to get a rank at the top of the merit list only after that you are eligible for counseling.

The advice will include various stages- online registration, choice filling, verification of credentials, seat allocation, reporting at the allotted center. The aspirants who are capable of occupying the desired seat for the preferred course will have to report to college carrying documents and certificates. The admission is offered in the different course as per merit.

  • Certificate of residence for the 7 years prior to the qualification exam, that is, diploma/degree.

  • Map of Aadhar
  • Integrated community certificate
  • Parent’s certificate of income from all sources issued as of 01.01.2014 or White Ration card.
  • Applicants who claim a reservation under NCC / Sports / PH / CAP / Minority must bring the appropriate original certificates.
