AP PGECET 2020 Web Counseling will be started in January 2021. Rank Card has been released on 27th October 2020. AP PGECET Full form is Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test. Andhra University conducts AP PGECET 2020, Visakhapatnam on behalf of A.P. State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE).  This is a statewide entry test for which students are admitted to engineering, pharmacy, and postgraduate courses. Each year, AP PGECET will be held in May.

AP PGECET 2020 Exam Date has been Announced now, the Exam was held on 28th, 29th & 30th September 2020. It is done once a year. The entrance test is conducted to offer admission to the students into various PG engineering and pharmacy courses. Candidates can also apply for admission through national level exams like GATE/GPAT.

AP PGECET exam dates for the year 2020 has been announced yet. Here, we are giving the counseling exam schedule:

AP PGECET Application Form 2020

AP PGECET 2020 Application Form has been made entirely online from 9th March 2020.No offline mode will be entertained for submitting the AP PGECET application form. Candidates are advised to submit the application form before the last date.

In case of providing the application form after the due date, candidates have to pay extra charges. Fee payment will be the first step in the application form.

  • Upload scanned the photograph (size less than 40 KB) and scanned signature in Jpg/jpeg format.
  • After filling the form, the candidate may take a printout of a filled-in application for further references.
  • AP PGECET application form was available online only from 9th March 2020.
  • Candidates have to fill the application form online before the 15th of June 2020. (without late fee).
  • After the last date of filing the application form, one can fill the application form indeed but with the late fee.
  • The candidates can also check the status of their application form whether it is submitted successfully or not.
  • As the application form will be submitted, an intimation message regarding the successful submission of the application form will be received by the candidates via SMS/E-mail.
  • In case a candidate wants to appear for more than one test, a separate registration fee has to be paid for each test.

AP PGECET Application Fee 2020 

The candidates could submit the application fee through credit card/debit card or AP online centers. The application fee required to be paid by the candidates against the application form are as follows:

  • For GEN/OBC – Rs. 1000/-
  • For SC/ST- Rs. 500/-
  • The late fee is Rs. 500/-, 2000/-, 5000/- and 10000/- as per the dates of filling the late application form.

AP PGECET 2020 Eligibility Criteria

All the applicants must meet the eligibility conditions as prescribed by the authority. AP PGECET 2020 eligibility conditions are mentioned below:

  • Nationality: Candidates should be a citizen of India.
  • Domicile Requirement: Applicant should belong to AP state or must be AP domiciled to apply for AP PGECET. Moreover, the candidate must satisfy the local/non-local status requirements.
  • Qualifying Examination: The qualifying examination should be B.E/B. Tech to apply for PG engineering courses. For PG pharmacy courses, the prescribed qualification is B.Pharma studied from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum Marks: In the case of pharmacy courses, the minimum marks required in the qualifying examination should be 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST category candidates). The minimum scores required to apply for engineering courses is 45% marks (40% for SC/ST category).
  • Appearing Candidates: All Appearing Candidates can apply Application form for this Examination.
  • Qualifying Exam: Candidates have Required to Qualify in B.Pharma, B.Tech, or Other Equivalent Degree from any Recognized University.
  • Marks Required: Applicants have to Required a minimum of 50% Marks in Bachelor’s Degree Courses and Required Minimum 45% Marks for SC/ST Category.
  • Score Card: The Applicants must Be Scored one of these Examination likes; GATE/GPAT/ AP PGECET.

AP PGECET 2020 Exam Pattern

  • Number of Papers: AP PGECET is conducted for a total of 14 papers.
  • Mode of Examination: Candidates have to mark their responses on the OMR sheet. The examination will be conducted in pen and paper mode.
  • Number of Questions: The examination will contain a total of 120 questions.
  • Type of Questions: Only objective type questions having four alternatives will appear in the test.
  • Maximum Marks: The offline test is of a maximum of 120 marks.
  • Language: The medium of the question paper will be English.
  • Duration: The examination of AP PGECET will consist of 2 hours duration.

AP PGECET 2020 Hall Ticket

AP PGECET 2020 Admit Card has been available on 23rd September 2020. Applicants can be Downloaded Hall Ticket through login id i.e Registration No. and DOB (Date of Birth) from the Official Website.

Eligible applicants may download their AP PGECET 2020 admission card from 23rd September 2020 on a provisional basis.

To download the room ticket, applicants must enter the registration number and select the test they have chosen in the application form. The completed exhaust admission card must be produced at the assigned test center.

AP PGECET 2020 Answer Key

The Answer Key has been published on 2nd October 2020. Last Date for receiving objections on Preliminary Key till 3rd October 2020.

AP PGECET answer key will be released along with question papers and response sheets. Candidates will be able to challenge the answer key by sending an Email to the university.

After receiving the objections on the answer key, the final answer key will be published via online mode.

AP PGECET 2020 Result 

AP PGECET 2020 Result has been Declared on 24th October 2020. Candidates can check easily Score Card & Rank Card. The Merit list will be Released after Result Declaration. The Result will be Available via Always Online Mode.

The candidates are required to enter the login credentials for checking their AP PGECET 2020 results. The result contained the total marks and obtained the rank of the candidate. The result will be announced online through the official website in October, tentatively.

AP PGECET Rank card 2020 has been available for downloading after some days of the result announcement. Candidates may know their ranking and the official’s qualifications in the statement of results. The result can be checked by entering the routing number.

The expected date for reporting results has been Declared. After a few days of the announcement of the results, candidates will be able to download the AP PGECET 2020 classification card.

AP PGECET 2020 Cut-off 

To qualify for the AP PGECET 2020, the candidates have to obtain the minimum 25% marks of the total marks.

Those who will obtain marks more than the AP PGECET cut-off marks will be eligible to take admission in an M.Tech course offered by the colleges of Andhra Pradesh.

No minimum cut off is prescribed for SC/ST. The rank card will be available only to qualified candidates.

AP PGECET 2020 Counselling

AP PGECET 2020 Counseling will be started on the 4th week of October 2020. Selected list Applicants that have selected to call for admission or Verification Certification via helpline venue centers. And Counseling could be Completed through Various Steps.

The candidates have to attend the AP PGECET 2020 counseling for seat allotment and document verification. After the payment of prescribed fees, serial number and password will be provided to the candidates through whom candidates can mark the choices for colleges.

Applicants who receive a mark of 25% of the total marks will be eligible to participate in AP PGECET 2020 counseling.

All qualified applicants must appear in person as a checking window for the document. Before the verification of documents/certificates, the candidate must pay a non-refundable fee of Rs. 1000 / – (Rs 500 / – for SC / ST candidates). Candidates may exercise options either from the Hotline or any other location with an Internet connection.

Candidates should produce the certificates given below:

  • Hall ticket of GATE/GPAT/AP PGECET
  • The rank of GATE/GPAT/AP PGECET
  • 10th, 12th, degree/diploma marks memo
  • Study certificate
  • Residence/ Aadhar certificate
