AP PGLCET 2019: Counselling, Seat Allotment, Admission Procedure

AP PGLCET 2019 Counseling will be Starting Soon. AP PGLCET 2019 can be conducted by Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Ananthapuram on behalf of APSCHE. 

The Indian nationals with 50 % marks in B.L./LL.B. and 45% for SC/ST and also who would be appearing their final year of graduation would be allowed to appear for AP PGLCET  2019. 

AP PGLCET 2019 Result/ Rank Card has been Released. In case, candidates find any error in the form after the form submission date, there will be a small window for correction opened by the APSCHE.

The hall tickets would be issued to registered candidates by 1st May 2019 for the exam to be held 0n the 6th May 2019. Candidates obtaining 25% marks i.e 30 marks out of 120 would be included in the list of qualified candidates. Candidates will then appear for counseling and secure their seat.

AP PGLCET Result 2019

  • After the successful conduction of the entrance exam, the scheme would announce the AP PGLCET 2019 result in Online mode on the official website at sche.ap.gov.in
  • The Result has been Declared on 20th May 2019.
  • To check your result, you will need to click the active link and provide details like- Registration Number and PGLCET Hall ticket Number 2019
  • Then upon clicking- “View Result”, your result will be displayed
  • Take a print of this page for taking it to the AP PGLCET 2019 counseling.
  • OC/BC Candidates successfully obtaining 25% i.e 30 out 120 marks would be declared qualified in PGLCET 2019.
  • For reserved category, there would be no such criteria. (NO qualifying marks for SC/ST)

AP PGLCET 2019 Answer Key

  • Would make available the AP PGLCET 2019 Answer Keys for the candidates so that they can match their answers with the official keys and avail an idea about the probable marks that they might get in the entrance test.
  • AP PGLCET 2019 Answer Key has been Released on 7th May 2019.
  • Please note that this is meant to give an idea. The answer key does not guarantee exact rank in the actual result list.

  • Then provide- Registration number and AP PGLCET hall ticket number

  • Match the key and get an idea of the approximate score
  • You can raise objections against the preliminary key if you find any error.


The AP PGLCET 2020 Examination is organized by the Shri Krishnadevaraya University on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) to offer admission to the applicants in LLM programmes available as full-time regular courses at Universities of Andhra Pradesh and their affiliated colleges. The AP PGLCET 2020 Application Form will be available from 2nd week of March till last week of April.

AP PGLCET 2019 Hall Ticket

  • To download the AP PGLCET 2019 Admit Card, visit the official portal i.e sche.ap.gov.in.
  • There will be an icon flashing in blue color saying- Download Hall ticket
  • The Admit Card has been Available on 1st May 2019.
  • Once you click the link, you would be taken to another page.
  • Here you will see some empty columns.
  • Fill your details here such as- Payment reference ID, Registration number, Qualifying exam hall ticket number, Mobile number and Date of birth.
  • Hit the button- DOWNLOAD HALL TICKET.
  • Your admit card will be displayed on your computer screen.
  • Take a screenshot or print it.

AP PGLCET 2019 Application Form

  • AP PGLCET 2019 Application Form has been Released on 16th March 2019.
  • The last date submitted Application From 24th April 2019.

  • AP PGLCET 2019 would be completed in 4 stages
  • Stage-1- Fee payment= to pay the fees, fill details such as Qualifying Examination Hall Ticket No., Candidate’s Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, Mobile No, E-Mail ID,
  • Stage-2- Know your application status= now check the status of your form by providing Hall Ticket number and Mobile number
  • Stage-3- Fill application form= proceed to fill the form and furnish details like- candidate name, father’s name, mother’s name, birth district, gender, aadhar card number, annual income of the parents, category, income certificate number, birth state, caste certificate number, address, qualification examinations, details of PGLCET.
  • At this stage, you will need to upload the digital photograph and signature
  • The photo should be less than 50kb and signature should be less than 30kb
  • Stage-4- print the application form

AP PGLCET 2019 Application Fees

  • Candidates would be required to pay the chargeable amount as application fee in order to complete the form.
  • Fee payable according to last year- Rs. 850/- for PG LLM/ML fee, Rs. 59/- was the processing fee. Total amount payable by all category candidates was- Rs. 909/-
  • The fee might be acceptable via the credit card/ debit card/ net banking/ APOnline center

Print AP PGLCET 2019 Application Form

  • Candidates who could not take a print of their AP PGLCET 2019 application form at the time of filling the form, would be able to get a print of the form by clicking the link- Print Application Form”
  • This link would be embedded on the home page of APSCHE.
  • You will have to provide details like- Payment reference ID, Qualifying exam hall ticket number, Registration number, Mobile number and Date of birth.
  • Then click- Get Application Details.
  • Your form will be displayed.

AP PGLCET 2019 Eligibility Criteria

The applicant who clears the laid down criteria would be considered eligible to apply. Please note that this criterion is subject to change.

For 2 Year LL.M course:

  • Nationality- the applicant must be an Indian national satisfying all the local/ non-local status requirements as laid by AP educational institutions order, 1974
  • Degree requirement– candidate applying should possess 3 years full-time B.L./LL.B degree
  • Marks requirement- minimum 50% marks are required (applicable for OC/BC) and 45% for SC/ST
  • Final year appearing candidates- candidates going to appear in the final year of the B.L./LL.B degree would also be allowed to sit for the exam

AP PGLCET 2019 Exam Pattern

  • The exam will be the single entrance test applicable for LL.M. admission for the 2019-2020 academic year.
  • The paper will have to be completed in 90 minutes duration.
  • There will be 120 OBJECTIVE type questions.
  • The paper will have 2 parts.
  • Part-A- will have 40 questions of 1 mark each. So you will get a maximum of 40 marks from this section.
  • Part-B- will have 80 questions of 1 mark each.
  • NO NEGATIVE MARKING will be applied

How to Prepare for AP PGLCET 2019

  • All the candidates who are planning to appear in the AP PGLCET 2019 must start their preparation as early as they can.
  • To prepare for the topics, read only the prescribed and standard books to save unnecessary material search
  • Start preparing topics related to Jurisprudence and Constitutional law as that is the first part and you will be required to attempt it first.

AP PGLCET Syllabus 2019

Here is a tentative syllabus based on the information available as per last year. There can be changes in the new pattern. We shall update the page as per the events take place. For now, let us take a quick look at the topics that you should prepare to clear AP PGLCET 2019.

Part A-

(I) Jurisprudence- Schools of Jurisprudence- Custom Precedent and Legislation, Obligation, Sources of Law, Rights and Duties- Persons, Ownership and Possession, Property, Legal sanctions, and Liability

(II) Constitutional Law – Nature of the constitution: Judiciary and Legislature, Fundamental rights, Directive principles of state policy, Emergency provisions, Executive Judiciary and Legislature, center-state relations and Amendments to the constitution

Part B-

(I) IPR & Other Laws- The Protection of Human Rights Act, 1993; Copyright Act, 1957; Salient features of Information Technology Act, 2000; Patents Act, 1970; Environmental Protection Act, 1986; Human Rights, and Right to Information Act 2005

(II) Public International Law- International Law and Municipal Law, Air, Sea and Outer space, State Territory, Extradition, Nationality and Statelessness, United nations, Asylum, State Jurisdiction

(III) Labour Law- Trade Union Act of 1923. Industrial Disputes Act of 1947

(Iv) Mercantile Law- General Principles of contract (Sections. 1-75, Indian Contract Act-1872)

(V) Crimes and Torts- Indian Penal Code- General Principles and General Exceptions
