How to Prepare for APPSC?

To clear any examination preparation plays an important role:

  • First Refer syllabus as given above
  • Keep an eye on current affairs(Read newspaper, magazine, watch debate)
  • Refer previous question papers
  • See NCERT books for deep understanding
  • Focus on each and every small topics
  • For Mental ability problems, practice more from open source, previous paper.

Remember this?

If you are starting to prepare now first focus on those topics in which you are good, brush your concepts and other topics. Study for at least 6 hrs. A day. Make your schedule and give appropriate time for each and every topic.

Let say 2 hrs. For general studies as it carries about 150 marks if you can answer then you will get more than 120 marks. 2hrs for solving questions on the topics which you are good at. 1 hr. for brushing up concepts on other subjects.

One hr. for revising the topics that you have studied on that day. We get effectively 45 days for preparing so you must keep on changing the concepts that you have learned so that you will not forget the topics at the end, this may boost your confidence at the time of examination.

Prepare short notes for every question it gets easy to revise the topics in the last five days of testing. Write as many as mock tests as possible this will help to correct our mistakes and also to get the proper line of thinking towards the question.

Books

There is numerous book you will get, but I suggest you refer only NCERT books in which every concept given in details, and it is quite easy to understand.
