ASRB NET 2019 Result has been Declared on 31st January 2020. ASRB NET stands for Agriculture Scientists Board (ASRB) National Eligibility Test to recruit Assistant Professors & Lecturers in the State Agriculture Universities & other Agricultural Universities.

It was established on 1 September 1973 as an independent recruitment agency in pursuance of the recommendations of the Gajendradakar Committee. ASRB NET Certificate will be issued by ASRB to qualified Candidates to enable them to apply against vacancies. ASRB NET is held across 31 centers.

ASRB NET 2019 Application Form

ASRB NET 2019 Online Application Form starts from 15th October 2019.

• ASRB NET 2019 Online Application Form the last date is 4th November 2019.
• Before applying for ASRB NET candidates are requested to go through detailed notification & eligibility mentioned on the official website
• Candidates should fill their personal & academic information carefully in order to apply for the exam
• Candidates must upload their relevant documents through scanned copies only.
• Candidates are advised to take a print out of application form & also note down to print admit card before the exam the application number generated after submitting the application

ASRB NET 2019 Application Fee

ASRB NET Application Form starts from 15th October 2019.

ASRB NET 2019 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

Candidate must possess a Master’s Degree or its equivalent in the concerned Discipline & specialization from any Indian University by an Act of Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be University.

Age Limit:

Candidate must have attained the age of 21 years as on 1st July 2019.

There is no upper age limit for NET.

Nationality:

A candidate must be a citizen of India OR

• A citizen of Nepal OR
• A citizen of Bhutan
• Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India OR
• A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar) Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
  

ARSB NET 2019 Exam Pattern

There will be one paper of 150 marks.

• Paper will consist of 150 questions.
• Paper will be of MCQ type.
• The candidate will get 2 hours.
• There is no restriction on the Number of Attempts for appearing the National Eligibility Test.
• 1/3 of marks will be deducted for the wrong answer.
• The examination will be in Online Format at the designated center.

Number of Attempts:

There is no such attempt to appear for the ASRB exam.

ASRB NET 2019 Eligibility Certificate

ASRB will issue a qualifying certificate to selected candidates.

• Issuance will be done within 3 Months.
• The certificate will be sent via post to the registered address.
• If a candidate does not receive their certificate they should contact ASRB immediately.
• The ASRB NET certificate is liable to be withdrawn if it comes to the notice of the Board at any stage that the candidate had fraudulently obtained the certificate by furnishing wrong particulars in his/her Online Application.
