B.Ed. Special Education or Bachelor of Education in Special Education (is an undergraduate Education course)

Special Education is the education of students that need special care in a way that does not affect the students’ individual differences and needs.

More clearly B.Ed. Special Education course helps is training students to take up teaching profession for special needs children, such as, children with Hearing Impairment/Mental Retardation/Visual Impairment who are studying in Special Schools or in the General Schools with use of some technology. The duration of the course is two years. It may also be provided by some certain institutes on a part-time basis.

B.Ed. Special Education Eligibility

Pass in 12th standard with the minimum of 50% aggregate. The School subjects of students can be Hindi, Sanskrit, English, Science (Physics and/or Chemistry), Biology (Zoology and/or Botany), Mathematics, Economics, Commerce, History (or AIHC & Arch.), Geography, Political Science (for Civics), and Home Science.
