B.Tech. Textile Chemistry: Course, Career, Salary, Duration, Scope

B.Tech. Textile Chemistry or Bachelor of Technology in Textile Chemistry is an undergraduate Textile Engineering course. Textile Chemistry is the applied form of Chemistry. It is an application of basic knowledge of chemistry to understand textile materials. Finally, the textile chemists actually modify the materials into various items that can be used by manufacturers for different purposes.

The candidates under this degree course learn to examine the different groups of fibers that include natural, manufactured, and synthetic fibers. Candidates undergoing this degree course also gain a good knowledge of various textile fibers.

The course in this field of textile chemistry deals with the application of science as well as engineering principles to the design and control of all aspects of fiber, textile, and apparel processes, products, and machinery.

Some of the fields include natural and man-made materials, the interaction of materials with machines, safety and health, energy conservation, and waste and pollution control. The duration of the course is four years and it is divided into 8 semesters and it is a career originating in nature that opens many jobs for them.
