BCECE 2018: Counselling Schedule, Seat Allotment & Admission Process

BCECE 2018 Counselling for PCB group has been started from 5th September 2018. BCECE referred to Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination which is organized by Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB). BCECE is a state level entrance examination. The BCECE entrance exam is conducted on the state level. Through this admission is possible in professional degree courses in the state of Bihar. Main aim to conduct this exam is to offer admission to candidates into various UG courses in the field of engineering, pharmacy and agriculture and other courses.

The entrance exam BCECE is in two stages that are stage 1 and stage 2 previously but nowadays only  BCECE mains is conducted. Only one exam is conducted and admission is given by the valid score of BCECE.

BCECE 2018 Counselling

Candidates can register for the BCECE Counselling through online mode. The counselling will be started from 19th July 2018. The candidates will be provided with the opportunity to choose the course and institution according to their preferences. According to the seat availability in various colleges in the Bihar state, the seat will be allotted to the candidates.

BCECE 2019

The National Entrance to Bihar Contest is a national level examination that is regulated by the Council of BCECE. He is taken to offer admission to UG courses in the field of engineering, pharmacy, agriculture, etc. The exam will be done one step per year.

BCECE Result 2018

BCECE exams will be published by the conducted authority through online, official portal.  Candidates can check the BCECE 2018 result through online mode. No individual score card will be issued to candidates.

Candidates have to keep printed copies of result for verification and registration of admission. To see result candidates have to enter detail in official portal page for correct page type correct detail. If candidates type wrong detail in page website will show error.

  • The result has been declared on 20th June 2018.
  • Candidates those appeared in the examination can check their results via online mode through the website.
  • The individual scorecard will not be given to any candidate.
  • By the result, the merit list will be prepared for providing admission.

BCECE Application Form 2018

The application form will be available in online, official portal. Application Form will be available on online from Mid-February. Candidate can fill application form of BCECE exams through online on the official portal of the official website of the Bihar board.

The application form will be available in two parts. Part A or Part 1 and then fill the application form, after filling the application form fees. The candidates can fill the part B or part 2. After filling the application form (both part A and part B) successfully, candidates need to send the copy of online filled application form along with paid Bank Challan and enclosures to the BCECE office.

Candidates should know how to fill when to fill, where to fill etc. Candidates have to fill application as given in brochure and have to upload his/her scanned images of their three photographs, signature & Thumb impression at the time of filling the application form in a JPG/JPEG Format.

  • No offline mode will apply to get the application.
  • The application form for LE has been released on 18th May 2018.
  • The last date for submission of the online application form will be 8th June 2018.
  • The exam will be conducted in one stage only.
  • Candidates first fill the PART A of application & then submit the fee.
  • After fee payment, candidates have to fill PART B further.
  • After the form filling, candidates keep the hard copy of the complete filled-in application form.

The detailed application process is given below:

  • Download the application form and take the printout of it.
  • Candidates must fill the application form in their handwriting.
  • Candidates are required to fill all details in the application form carefully.
  • Paste recent photograph in the application form.
  • Attach all the required documents like DD, qualifying exam certificates, etc. with the application form.
  • Candidates have to submit the application form at the notified locations (as per center opted), on specified dates, along with self-attested copies of required documents.

Application Fee:

Candidates are required to pay Rs. 1000/- for general and OBC candidates. Rs.500/- should be spent by the candidates who are from SC/ST category. Those candidates who want to appear for all subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology) will have to pay Rs. 1100/-. This fee is for those candidates who fall in the general category for the application form, and the candidates who fall in SC/ST category will have to pay Rs. 550/- to appear for all the subjects.

Candidates have to pay the application fee before the due date. Late charged fees will be charged to candidates. Once payment is done, it will not be refunded back to candidates. Candidates can pay the application fees online through different modes. These modes include credit card/debit card/net banking or bank challan.

Below is given application form fees for BCECE exams:

  • The application fee for BCECE 2018 will be Rs. 660/- for general and OBC candidates.
  • The application fee for BCECE 2018 will be Rs. 3300/- for ST/SC/DQ candidates.
  • Candidates have to submit the application fee by making Demand Draft.
  • The late fee will be charged if the candidate will fill the form after the last date of submission of application form.

BCECE 2018 Application Correction

Candidates may make the correction in the BCECE 2018 application from June 10th, 2018. The correction can be made only via the online mode.  The last date for submission of the online application form will be 8th June 2018.

There will be no possibility to make corrections via the offline mode. Applicants, those submitting the application and fees can only make the correction in the application.

BCECE Eligibility Criteria 2018

Candidate has to check they are eligible for applying or not if the candidate didn’t know about the basic detail they can face difficulty at the time of admission process. Candidate of the Indian citizen or Non-resident Indians (NRI), Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) card holders are also eligible to apply.

Before filling the application form candidates can check their BCECE exams eligibility criteria Nationality, Age Limit Criteria, Qualification Criteria, etc. given below:

  • The candidate must be an Indian citizen, and the must be the permanent resident of Bihar state.
  • He/she must have attained the age of 17 years as on 1st July 2018. This age criterion is only for agriculture courses.
  • No minimum age limit for the candidates applying for engineering courses.
  • The candidate wants to apply for BCECE 2017 must have completed 12th as the qualifying examination from the recognized University with minimum 45% marks (for GEN category) and 40% marks (for SC/ST category) secured in the Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology subjects.

BCECE Exam Pattern 2018

Candidates appearing BCECE exams have to complete their paper in 4 hours. As per board law candidate will not give extra time to complete paper. Candidate will ask objective type questions with multiple optional answers for each question.

In exams Question, the paper pattern will be in OMR form. For each correct answer, a candidate will be given one mark. Following detail of BCECE exams, pattern and table are given by subject, no. of the question and maximum marks.

  • Language: The question paper will come in English & Hindi language.
  • Subjects: Physics and chemistry are the mandatory sections while there is a choice between Mathematics and Biology section.
  • Duration: The duration of the entrance examination will be 4 hours.
  • Type of Question: The question paper type will be objective type consisting of 4 alternative options.
  • Marking Scheme: The candidates will be awarded four marks for every correct answer.
  • Negative Marking: For every incorrect response one mark will be deducted.

Engineering Courses:

  • Qualifying Exam: Eligible candidates must qualify the Intermediate or equivalent from a recognized board.
  • Subjects: The qualifying exam must pass with necessary subjects as Physics & Mathematics. The optional subjects which are also required are Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology and technical vocational subject.
  • Minimum Marks: A candidate should qualify with minimum 45% marks for General and 40% for reserved categories.

Pharmacy Courses:

  • Qualifying Exam: The minimum qualification is 10+2 or equivalent to appear in the exam.
  • Subjects: The mandatory subjects which are required in the previous academic exam are Physics and Chemistry. Also, it is mandatory to choose one optional subject among these, i.e., Mathematics, Biology or technical vocational subject.
  • Minimum Marks: Candidate must obtain 45% marks (General candidates) in qualifying exam and 40% (SC/ST candidates).
  • Appearing Candidates: Final year candidates can also apply in one condition that they should have passed the qualifying exam at the time of counseling.

 BCECE Cut off 2018

Candidates have to score above cut-off marks to qualify for Bihar common entrance test. Different courses and college have different cut-off marks.  Candidate will get admission by candidates to score marks the entrance test.

Every year’s college change cut-off marks according to category wise. Cut- off marks of BCECE exams is set according to factors like the number of applicants, the number of vacant seats, etc.

  • Bihar Board will determine the minimum scores obtained by the candidates to be considered for admission to various undergraduate engineering courses at the universities and colleges in Bihar.
  • Bihar conducts BCECE 2018 and is the competent authority that decides BCECE 2018 cutoff marks.

BCECE Exam Center 2018

Schedule is prepared below for candidates to select the BCECE exams center so that they can appear exams. Candidates must know that the Exams centers are based on previous years dates.  2 exams center must be select by candidates. BCECE Syllabus 2018

The syllabus of BCECE will consist of the various subject like Physics, Chemistry, Biology & Mathematics. The candidate has to prepare for exams from this subjects. The syllabus is based on the syllabus introduced by the Bihar Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education, Porvorim, for 12th standard (science stream).
