CEED 2021 Draft Question Papers & Answer Key has been available on 21st January 2021. The CEED 2021 will be conducted through online mode (CBT). CEED is termed as the Common Entrance Test for Design which is organized by IITB (Indian Institute of Technology Bombay).
CEED 2021 is the national level entrance test that is organized to take admission into Ph.D. and M. Des courses. Those candidates who will qualify for the CEED entrance test will get admission into prestigious institutions such as IIT Kanpur, IISc Bangalore, IIT.
CEED DM Jabalpur, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, etc. CEED Scorecard and result will be valid for only one year after the announcement of the Result. CEED 2021 Application Form

- The CEED 2021 Registration will be available for the candidates to form online mode only.
- CEED 2021 Application Form has been released on 9th September 2020.
- The CEED 2021 Application Form can be filled until the 10th of November 2020.
- CEED 2021 Application Form will have steps like – Registrations, Filling the Complete Application Details, Uploading Required Images and Documents, and Registration Fee Payments.
- Registration of CEED must be carried out with the correct email address and Authentic Mobile Number. The email confirmation will be sent on the registered Email Address.
- Candidates are requested to fill the required details correctly and the authority will not allow the CEED 202 Application Correction Facility.
- Candidates must fill the CEED 2021 Application Form before the last date. Candidates can fill the CEED 2021 Application Form by paying 17th November 2020 with a late fee.

CEED 2021 Eligibility Criteria
The candidates must know the CEED 2021 Eligibility Criteria before applying for the CEED 2021. Students must know it very well to avoid the rejection of the application form. Here we are mentioning all the CEED 2021 Eligibility Criteria which will help the candidate to know it well before applying for the CEED.
- Appearing Candidates: Candidates who are in the final year of their graduation/ Qualifying exam are eligible to apply. Candidates have to show the passing certificate at the time of admission to the college.
- Age Criteria: There is no age limit for the CEED Entrance Test.
- GATE Score Card: Candidates are also allowed to apply with the GATE Score Card.
Qualification Criteria:
- Graduate: Candidates must have Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture/ Engineering/ Interior/ Design or any equivalent degree after 10+2 level from any recognized University.
- After 10th: Pursued 5 year Course in G.A Arts with one year Post Qualification experience after 10th
- NID/ CEPT: Professional diploma in the design such as CEPT/ NID or any equivalent after 12th level exams.
- BFA: Passed BFA of 4 years after 12th.
CEED 2021 Exam Pattern
Candidates must know the CEED 2021 Exam Pattern which will help the candidates to know about the exam and its pattern very well. CEED 2021 Exam Pattern is given here in this section. Candidates must check it out.
- Exam Date: The exam will be conducted in the 3rd week of January 2021.
- Parts: The paper will be divided into two parts A and Part B.
- Section: The CEED paper will be of three sections.
- Exam Mode: The exam will be conducted in online mode (CBT) for Paper A. The exam for paper B will be conducted through Offline Mode (Pen Paper Based).
- Duration of the Exam: The Exam will be of 3 hours (180 Minutes).
- Distribution OF Time: Paper A: Paper A will be of 1 Hour.Paper B: It will be for 2 hours.
- Total Marks: The paper will be of 100 Marks each. Part A and part b.
- Types of Question: Part A- MCQs types and numerical. Part B: will be drawing based Questions.
- Language Paper: The exam paper will be in the English language.
- Marks and Weightage: The weight of Part A is 25% and Part B is 75%.

CEED 2021 Syllabus

Part A: Environmental and Social Awareness: Awareness of social and cultural connection with design and design terminologies, Implications on the design of infrastructure, Questions from General awareness of environmental factors such as climate natural resources, products, images and environment. etc.
Language and Creativity: Ability to distinguish innovative options, Questions will test the candidate’s ability to understand passages in commonly used English Languages. Ability to think creatively in terms of alternatives and think out of the box etc.
Visualization and Spatial Ability: Questions will be based on Pictorial or diagrammatic questions to assess the understanding of transformation or manipulation of 2D and 3D objects and their spatial relationships.
Observation and Design Sensitivity: Candidate’s ability to detect concealed properties in day to day life and think critically about them.
Design Thinking and Problem Solving: Questions will check candidates’ ability to understand the context, the users and the constraints and choose the most accurate solution for a given design problem.
Analytical and Logical Reasoning: Candidate’s ability to describe given information logically and select the most accurate solutions will be checked in this section. Also, the candidate’s ability to use logic and structured thinking to deduce from a short passage with a number of statements is the most absolute response to a posed question which will be checked in this section.
Part B: Drawing: The candidate’s ability to draw products, composition, proportion, people, or scenes in proportion with good line quality, perspective, and shading will be checked.
Problem Identification skills: In this part B test, the students’ knowledge of appropriate use in design and ability, properties of materials and process, understanding of the user and the context, originality of solutions, ability to create characters, plots, stories, etc. will be checked.
Creativity: The ability to think out of the box and come up with diverse as well as unique solutions will be seen in this section.
Communication skills: Candidates’ ability to communicate ideas and concepts clearly using text and visuals will be checked.
CEED 2021 Preparation Tips

CEED 2021 Admit Card
The CEED 2021 Admit Card has been released through online mode only. No offline CEED 2021 Admit Card will be provided to the candidates through any means. The CEED 2021 Admit Card will be available for the candidates to download from 1st January 2021.
The CEED 2021 hall ticket can be downloaded from the official website by entering the login credentials. No one is allowed to enter the hall ticket in the exam hall.
Candidates must take the colored print out of the CEED 2021 Admit Card and that must be taken on the day of the Exam. Candidates are requested to check all the details mentioned on the CEED 2021 Admit Card. If there is something discrepancy in the CEED 2021 Admit Card, Candidates must contact the official authority and must be rectified before the exam date itself.
CEED 2021 Answer Key
The CEED 2021 Answer Key will be released through online mode. The candidates can download the CEED 2021 Answer Key by entering their User ID and Password. The authority will release the Provision Answer Key for the candidates first.
The candidates can raise the objection in the given date for the CEED 2021 Answer Key. The CEED 2021 Answer Key will be released on 21st January 2021. The final CEED 2021 Answer Key will be released on 31st January 2021.
CEED 2021 Result
The CEED 2021 Result will be declared on 8th March 2021 and it will be released through Online. Students can check the CEED 2021 Result by entering the login details and It can be downloaded in Pdf format.
Students who will clear the CEED entrance test and secure themselves in the merit list will be called for the further counseling rounds. The scorecard will be published along with the CEED 2021 Result which will show the rank, qualifying status, and merit Position of the candidates.
CEED Score Card is valid for one year from the date of declaration of the result.
CEED 2021 Cut Off
CEED 2021 Cut Off is the most important milestone number that must be secured by the students to get into further admission procedure.
CEED 2021 Cut Off will be prepared on different parameters. The parameters for the CEED 2021 Cut Off is the number of seats available, candidates participated in the entrance test, Difficulty level if the exam, Number of qualifying candidates, etc.

CEED 2021 Merit List
Candidates will be called for the CEED 2021 Merit List who will get the minimum cut off marks that is declared by the CEED. The CEED 2021 Merit List will be announced by the official authority on the website along with the scorecard.
Candidates who will pass the Part A will only be eligible for the Part B.Students who will be selected in the merit list will be eligible for the CEED 2021 Merit List.
CEED 2021 Admission
The CEED 2021 Admission will be conducted after the CEED Result and merit list declaration. The candidates will have to apply separately for each institute for admission. The admission process may differ from institute to institute.
The Authority does not conduct the Counselling and seat allocation for the candidates for seat allocation in the institutions. Different institutes organize the Interview process and the Aptitude test for taking admissions.
