UG NEET Based Online Registration has been started for (MBBS, BDS & BAMS) Course. The Final Merit List for Non-NEET Based Course has been released. CAC (Central Admission Committee) will be responsible for organizing the exam, which will be required by students for entry in leading and different government institutions of Puducherry and UTs.

Aspirants will acquire a variety of undergraduate courses in Pharmacy, Engineering, etc.  The authority will not devise any entrance exam for the same. The admission will be provided to students on entry points -10 and 12 or equivalent examination. For those hoping to move to the institutions, it will be prudent to get through this exam.

Aspirants should check the article so that they know the format of exam procedures. This is a state-level admission procedure held to fill the professional degree seats in the colleges that come under the UT of Puducherry. Through this admission process, candidates will get admission to various Engineering & Pharmacy courses.

CENTAC 2020 Application Form

The CENTAC 2020 Application Form is accessible to aspirants by the online process from 21st July 2020.

  • The CENTAC 2020 Application Form will only be filled out online. Aspirants will be required to provide personal and academic information sensibly.
  • It will also need to attach scanned the scanned images of the photograph and signature
  • Download the Application Form save it after submitting all required details. The form is sent by post or courier. It can also be sent to the address with the necessary documents-
  • CENTAC 2020 Application Form can be applied by the candidate’s online mode.
  • Candidates who want to apply for the LL.B course will have to fill the separate Application Form.
  • No request to modify the details of the Application Form will be entertained by the board after submission of the form.

Application Fee

  • The application fee can be deposited only through online mode.
  • The fee can be paid through Credit cards/Debit cards/NEFT.
  • The fees will be different for several courses:
    • For one course: Rs. 600/- (for SC/BT Rs. 300/-)
    • For two courses: Rs. 900/- (for SC/BT Rs. 450/-)
    • For three courses: Rs. 1200/- (for SC/BT Rs. 600/-)
    • For B.A. LL.B (5 years): Rs. 600/- (for SC/BT Rs. 300/-)

CENTAC 2021 Examination is organized by the Central Admission Committee, Puducherry to offer admission to the applicants in various undergraduate courses in the field of Engineering, Pharmacy, etc. The admission will offer to the candidates in the various participating institutes of the Central Admission Committee, Puducherry. The CENTAC 2021 Application Form will start from the 2nd week of May to the Last week of May 2021.

CENTAC  2020 Eligibility Criteria

The CENTAC 2020 Eligibility Criteria has been specified for all students planning to appear in the entrance exam.


  • Indian Candidates will be eligible to apply for the exam.

Age Criteria

  • For BAMS- 17 Years (Minimum age limit)
  • For B.Tech- 21 Years (maximum age limit)

Educational Qualification

Courses Qualification requirement
B.Tech  10+2 or related examination in relevant subjects from a reputed board with no less than 45% marks
B.Pharma  10+2 or equivalent examination in relevant subjects from a reputed board with no less than 45% marks
BAMS 10+2 examination from a reputed board in related subjects with minimum 50% marks (for general)

CENTAC 2020 Eligibility Criteria Course Wise


  • Qualifying Exam: Candidates should have passed the HSC/12th examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examination of Tamil Nadu or any other recognized board.
  • Minimum Marks: It is necessary to score a minimum of 50% marks (40% for OBC/BCM/MBC/EBC/BT/SC candidates) in aggregate.
  • Subjects: The applying candidate should pass the qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology, Botany, and Zoology along with English subject.

For B.Tech

  • Qualifying Exam: The candidates studying/passed the HSC/12th examination from a recognized board are eligible to apply.
  • Minimum Marks: Candidates must have a minimum of 45% marks (40% marks in case of reserved category).
  • Subject: Physics & Mathematics are mandatory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biology/Bio-Technology/Computer Science subjects.

For B.Pharma

  • Qualifying Exam: The candidate should clear the 10+2 from a recognized board. Appearing candidates can also apply.
  • Minimum Marks: Candidates must have a minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved category).
  • Subject: Physics & Chemistry are compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics/Biology/Bio-Technology/Computer Science subjects.

For B.A.M.S.

  • Qualifying Exam: The candidate must pass the 12th standard examination from a recognized board.
  • Minimum Marks: Candidates must have a minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved category).
  • Subject: Physics/Chemistry/Biology/English are necessary to have in the qualifying exam.
  • Appearing candidates can also apply.

Note: Improvement marks in the qualifying exam in any year will not be considered.

CENTAC 2020 Merit List

CENTAC 2020 Merit List for Non-NEETBNYS (Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yoga Science) Course has been Released. 

CENTAC 2020 Merit list, which will be prepared by CENTAC based on which admissions to all courses (Except MBBS & BDS) will be provided. The admission will be offered based on marks obtained by the candidates at the 10+2 level.

CENTAC will release the merit list as a draft by giving candidates one or two days to object (if any). The final merit list will be published after considering the objections of the candidates (if any).

A separate merit list will be prepared for Government Quota Seats & Management Quota Seats.

CENTAC 2020 Result

Once the application process is completed successfully, the exam official will generate the result. The scorecard is considered for admission.

The result will include student’s marks, ranks, and performance in the entrance exam. The result will not be appeared without entering the required details. So, it must be kept in mind to not forget them.

The result will reflect the marks secured by students in the entrance exam. Since, it has to be produced before the admission official while counseling, it will need to preserve the scorecard with the utmost care.

It can be downloaded by entering the roll no and date of birth. Based on marks attained in the exam, the merit list is produced which estimates the will be marks of students gained in the qualifying examination.

Presumably, the merit list will be appeared in June 2020 by the process.

CENTAC 2020 Counselling

The selected students will need to register at the CENTAC website only by paying the admission fees by online payment, including Debit cards, Credit cards, and NEFT while counseling. At the time of counseling, you must fill in the choices according to your preference.

Only those who have attained good scores meeting the cut off will be able to attend CENTAC 2020 Counselling. The whole counseling procedure will be held offline. It will be required to fill the counseling form first.

There will be an extra counseling round in case, the seat is left vacant after the previous round. The seat distribution is held after the students have selected their preferred course. The seat allotted to students depends on the no of seats, marks obtained in the exam, and preferred course.

  • All students will have to pay Rs. 750 rupees Rs. 350 for SC/ ST, which will not be paid back come what may. The Application Form for counseling is to be submitted at any specified center.
  • Students can choose more than one center of examination.

CENTAC 2020 Admission

CENTAC 2020 Admission will be done based on scores of NEET in MBBS / BDS courses and 12th level scores for other courses. Candidates will be allotted seats on a provisional basis.

After the provisional allotment will be done, candidates will have to download Provisional Allotment Order. If candidates will not report within the given time, provisional allotment will be automatically canceled.
