CGPMT (2018) stands for Chhattisgarh Pre-Medical Test. CGPMT is a state level examination. The CGPMT ( Chhattisgarh Pre-Medical Test ) is also known as CGVyapam PMT and the CGPMT is conducted by the Chhattisgarh Directorate of Medical Education (CGDME). The CGPMT is conducted for the admission in medical (MBBS) & dental (BDS) courses or programs. CGPMT courses are offered by various dental and medical colleges of Chattisgarh. Since 2017 the admission in this admission is usually based on the NEET score.
CGPMT consists of three papers which are of MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) types. NEET (CGPMT) will have 3 attempts for those who have made 3 attempts prior to 2017 since this rule is applicable since 2017. CGPMT 2018 will continue with the same rule that NEET’s first attempt will be the only attempt and will be counted as one.

CGPMT Admit Card
All the applicants can download the admit card for CGPMT 2018 from the official website of the CGPMT. The admit card will be issued in the month of July 2018. No candidate will get the admit card (via post) through any offline process.
The result will be available on official website of CGPMT. The conducting should check all the printed details on the admit card for all the entries which they have filled. The admit card will be provided or can be downloaded using the registration number, D.O.B and password. The admit card will get downloaded by this process.
The CGPMT admit card will contain the information about the CGPMT such as examination venue, exam date and timings, candidates name and roll number. The CGPMT admit card is mandatory for the students to carry with them to the examination hall without which the applicants will not be given entry to the centre.
CGPMT Application Form
The application form will be available in online on the official portal of CGPMT only via online mode. The application form for CGPMT will not be provided through offline mode. Application Form will be available on online from the second week of July 2018. The last date to submit the CGPMT application forms will be in the third week of July 2018. Candidate can fill application form of CGPMT exams through online on the official portal of the official website of the CGPMT.
In the application form, the candidate has to fill the following information candidate have advised filling the qualification code, Center of Examination, category, exam medium, gender and Adhaar number carefully. The candidate must scan their passport size photo in JPEG format. The size of the photo must be 4.5cm x 3.5cm memory should not exceed 200 Kbytes. With these compulsory conditions, the candidate must upload their along with the properly and completely filled application form.
The candidate’s only one application form is accepted by the CGPMT conducting authority only and no offline means are available.
The detailed process for online or offline application form is given below:
- Download the application form and take the printout of it.
- The application form will be available from the second week of July 2018.
- Candidates are required to fill all details in the application form carefully.
- Paste recent photograph in the application form.
- Attach all the required documents like DD, qualifying exam certificates, etc. with the application form.
- Candidates have to submit the application form at the notified locations (as per centre opted), on specified dates, along with self-attested copies of required documents.
Candidates are required to pay Rs. 300/- for the general category and the OBC category candidates will have to pay Rs. 250/-. If the candidate falls in these categories-SC/ST/PH Candidates then the candidate will have to pay Rs. 200/-.
Candidates have to pay the application fee before the due date. Late charged fees. Once payment is done it will not be refunded back to candidates. Candidates can pay the application fees online through different modes. These modes include credit card/debit card/net banking.
The payment for application form can be nline. The online payment is done through credit card/debit card/net banking/NEFT.
Below is given application form fees of CGPMT exams:
- The application fee of CGPMT 2018 will be Rs. 300/- for general and Rs.250/- for OBC category candidates.
- The application fee of CGPMT 2018 will be Rs.750/- for SC/ST/PH Candidates category candidates.
- Candidates have to submit the application fee by online mode.
- The late fee will be charged if the candidate will fill the form after the last date of submission of application form.
CGPMT (NEET) Eligibility Criteria
Candidate has to check they are eligible for applying or not if the candidate didn’t know about the basic detail they can face difficulty at the time of admission process. Candidate of the Indian citizen or Non-resident Indians (NRI), Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) card holders are also eligible to apply. The minimum age of the applying candidate will be 17 and maximum he/she can apply till 25 years of their age.

The eligibility criteria for CGPMT 2018 are mentioned below:
- Candidates should be Indian Nationals.
- Candidates should have a domicile of Chhattisgarh state.
- Candidates must have passed 12th or equivalent examination from any recognized board with physics, chemistry and biology subjects.
- Students should have scored minimum 50% marks (for general candidates), 40% marks (for reserved categories) and 45% marks (for general PH candidates) in PCB group.
- Candidates must have completed 17 years age on or before 31 December 2018.
CGPMT (NEET) Exam Pattern
Candidates appearing CGPMT exams have to complete their paper in mentioned hours. As per board law candidate will not give extra time to complete paper. Candidate will ask objective type questions with multiple optional answers for each question.
In exams Question, the paper pattern will be in OMR form. There will be the total of 100 objective type questions. The exam paper will be conducted in 2 different language that is English and Hindi. Candidates have to choose for their suitable language. There one will be only one question paper. For each correct answer, a candidate will be given 1 mark. There will be no negative marking. The question paper will consist of Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology) as its main subjects.

CGPMT (NEET) Result
CGPMT (NEET) exams result will be published by conducted authority through online, official portal. Candidates can check result from the month of August 2018. No individual score card will be issued to candidates. The result will be available in pdf format candidates can download and view the result. After the declaration of the result, the candidate must keep an eye on the websites like CBSE, Medical Counselling Committee, MOHFW and Participating Universities/ Institutions till the conclusion of the final round of Counselling.
To see result candidates have to enter detail in official portal page for correct page type correct detail. If candidates type wrong detail in page website will show error. All the candidates those are shortlisted in the result will get called by the authority for the counselling process.
- CGPMT (NEET) 2018 result will be published in the month of August 2018.
- Candidates those appeared in the examination can check their results via online mode through the website.
- The individual score card will not be given to any candidate.
- On the basis of the result, the admission will be provided and then the candidates will be called for the selection procedure.
After the result announcement, CGPMT selection process will start. Candidates have to fill and submit the application form on official website of the CGPMT or other notified centres and obtain Acknowledgement card with registration number as a proof of form submission. The admission will be provided to the in MBBS/BDS programmes.
Admission will be done on the basis of candidates score marks in entrance exams. Candidate appearing counselling has to bring all required documents for registration and verification. If candidates have submitted incorrect document candidates admission will be cancelled. The candidates will be assigned the seats on the basis of merit list. Counselling process will comprise of registration, online document verification, choice filling and locking, counselling and seat allotment. After seat allotment, students have to report to the allotted college with required documents and prescribed fees.

In CGPMT under 15% all India Quota seats, there are seats reserved for the candidates who belong to the SC/ST/OBC/PH category.

The cutoff will be decided by the authorities and on the basis of cutoff marks scored by the candidate in the examination (CGPMT). The list for cutoff will be released by the conducting authorities of CGPMT. The cutoff list will be set on the basis of how many candidates appeared in the examination.
CGPMT 2018 result will be announced online by the official authorities on the official website of the CGPMT by the conducting authorities. The result will be declared in the month of August 2018. The authority that is conducting the exam (CGPMT) will not release the result category wise.
After the result declaration, candidates will stay in touch with the websites of CBSE, Medical Counselling Committee, MOHFW and Participating Universities/ Institutions till the conclusion of the final round of Counselling.
Syllabus for CGPMT is available on the official website of CGPMT. From there, candidates can download their syllabus. The candidates should focus on the officially given syllabus and prepare thoroughly for that.
The syllabus will consist of Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology).
