CIPET JEE 2018: Result, Counselling, Admission Procedure

CIPET JEE 2018 Second Merit List has been released on 24th July 2018. CIPET JEE (Central Institute of Plastic Engineering and Technology Joint Entrance Exam) is for providing admission in PGD-PPT (Post Graduate Diploma in Plastics Processing and Testing), PGD-PTQM (Post Graduate Diploma in Plastics Testing and Quality Management), PD-PMD with CAD/CAM (Post Diploma in Plastics Mould Design with CAD/CAM), DPMT (Diploma in Plastics Mould Technology),DPT (Diploma in Plastics Technology). Those applicants who want admission in CIPET can take admission through CIPET JEE.

The CIPET JEE 2018 results will be announced on 16th July 2018. The CIPET JEE Result is declared by the conducting authorities, generally will be announced on 16th July 2018. CIPET JEE 2018 (Joint Entrance Examination) will be conducted by the Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology.

The score can be checked Online by the applicant on the official website of the CIPET. Admission is completely based on the performance of the CIPET JEE. All the candidates who are selected must download their admission call letter in the 3rd week of June. This will be available on the official website of CIPET.

CIPET JEE Hall Ticket

CIPET JEE 2018 hall ticket will be released on 7th July 2018 for diploma courses. Hall tickets can be accessed from the official website. It contains the details of entrance exam such as date of exam, time and venue of the exam and some necessary instruction regarding the written exam.

Admit card of CIPET JEENOTE: The dates provided above are tentative and applicants are requested to check the date on the official website of CIPET.

Admit card for CIPET JEE is provided online. Applicants can download the ticket from the official website of the CIPET. Admit card for CIPET JEE is released in the month of June 2018.

CIPET JEE 2019 is an entrance test at the university level regulated by the Central Institute of Plastics and Technology Engineering (CIPET). It is organized to provide admission to various courses, such as the Postgraduate Diploma in Plastic Processing and Testing, the Postgraduate Diploma in Plastic Testing and Quality Management, etc. It also offers admission in BE / B.Tech, ME / M.Tech courses offered by its affiliated institutions.

Application form for CIPET JEE

The authorities conducting CIPET JEE 2018-19 provides the application form through online mode as well as offline mode. The applicants who satisfy the eligibility criteria can apply for the further registration process. Applicants can download the form from the official website of CIPET.

The application form for CIPET JEE have some prerequisites. The application form requires scanned photograph and signature of the applicant to upload on the online application form.

Documents required to be attached with the filled-in online application form are attested photocopy of DOB certificate, attested photocopies of X / Diploma / Degree Certificates, attested community certificate [for SC, ST, OBC (NCL)candidates)], residential proof for North Eastern State Region( if applicable).

The last date to fill the CIPET JEE application form is until the second week of June 2018.

Eligibility Criteria for CIPET JEE

Applicants applying for CIPET JEE must ensure that they satisfy the eligibility criteria given by the CIPET authorities.

The eligibility criteria for CIPET JEE must satisfy the qualification criteria given below:

For PGD-PPT3-year degree in science stream with Chemistry.
For PGD-PTQM3 years of degree in science stream with Chemistry, Physics & Mathematics.
For PD-PMD with CAD/CAM3-year Diploma in Mechanical, Plastics Technology, Tool/Production Engineering, Mechatronics, Automobile Engineering, Tool & Die Making, DPMT/DPT (CIPET) or equivalent exam.
For DPMT & DPTMatric pass candidates with Science, Mathematics and English can apply for this course.
For M.E/M.Tech-(Plastic Engineering/Technology)B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. Engg.(4years) in Mechanical / Chemical/  Production/Polymer/Plastics Engineering/Technology
M.Sc. in Polymer Science/Chemistry with Polymer specialization
M.Tech-PNTB.E./B.Tech.(4years) in Mechanical Plastics/ Engineering/Technology/Polymer/Chemical
M.Sc. in Polymer Science/Physics/Chemistry with valid GATE score
M.Sc.-PSB.Sc. (Science) Degree with Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry/Polymer Science/Applied Chemistry/Industrial Polymer Chemistry/Chemistry as one of the major subject

Criteria of Age

The age limit is 25 years for PGD-PTT, PGD-PTQM, PD-PMD with CAD/CAM and 20 years is 20 years for  DPMT and DPT. Applicants who are SC/ST and North Eastern Region candidates have a relaxation in the upper age limit.

CIPET Exam Pattern

There will be 100 questions in total in the CIPET JEE. The questions will have multiple choices for answers. All the questions will be objective type.

The applicants will be given 120 minutes to complete the test.

The question paper will contain the questions on the Physics, Chemistry, Maths and General Knowledge related topics.

Application fees for CIPET JEE

The application fees details for the different category are provided below:

  • For General, OBC, OBC (NCL) – Rs. 250/-
  • For SC/ST – Rs. 50/-
  • No application fee will be charged from the candidates belonging from North East Region (Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura)
