CULEE 2019: Application/Registration (Started) Dates, Eligibility, Pattern, & Syllabus

CULEECULEE 2019 Registration (For UG/PG Courses) can be done till 18th April 2019. The Christ University Law Entrance Exam 2019 (CULEE) is a prestigious opportunity for those who wish to enter the field of law.

If you want to develop your career as a lawyer or a legal consultant, then CU will soon be coming up with its Law Entrance Exam 2019. Start preparing today. Join us as we unfold the minutes of each event for you. The BBA LLB and BA LLB course entrance exam will take place in two sessions.

Meaning, the exam will take place in Bengaluru only (Session I) and also separately in Bengaluru, NCR and Kolkata region (Session II). You can choose to appear in any one of the session.

Any candidate, not more than 20 years who completes his/her 12th class with a minimum of 45% will be considered eligible to apply. The exam can take place in the 28th April 2019 (Session I) and in the 15th May 2019 (Session II). The selection process includes- ET(Entrance Test), SA (Skill Assessment), Micro Presentation and PI (Personal Interview). Applications will be announced soon.

 CULEE 2019 Application Form 

  • The CULEE 2019 application form will be available on the official website at onlineapp.christuniversity.in
  • The application would be acceptable in Online mode and through Offline mode.
  • Click on the link-New User Registration
  • For New user registration- Enter Name as in 10th class, Email Id, Select a password and Confirm the password
  • Online mode- fill and submit the form as entries come up.
  • Upload images- recent passport size photo of 3.5 cms x 4.5 cms in formal dress with a white background.
  • Pay the fees using Credit / Debit Card / Net banking
  • Offline mode- collect the form from the office of Christ University. Fill it and submit. Check the status on the website at appstat.christuniversity.in
  • Take a print of the confirmation page.

Documents to be sent to the university along with the application form

You may be required to send these documents to the university along with the form:-

  • Photocopy of the filled in application form duly signed by the parents.
  • Copy of the processing fees/ acknowledgment slip
  • Copy of 10th, 11th, and 12th mark sheet
  • Copy of Transfer certificate from last attended an institute
  • Copy of Migration certificate
  • Candidates belonging to NRI / PIO / OCI / SAARC / African / Asian have to submit the copy of passport and visa details

CULEE 2019 Application fees 

Once, the filling of CULEE application form is completed, the next step will be to pay the fees. Candidates will be required to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs. 1000/- using the prescribed mediums.  

Method to pay the fees

  • The payment would be acceptable through Net banking and various other options such as- Credit / Debit Card / Net banking.
  • The fees will be non-refundable.

CULEE 2019 Eligibility Criteria

To be able to appear in the CULEE 2019, candidates must ensure that they are eligible to fill the form or not. The criteria will be framed by the School of Law, Christ University for admissions to law programmes including BA LLB and BBA LLB. Let us see a few points that are basic.

  • Qualifying degree– 12th pass from Karnataka PUC/ CBSE/ ISC/ NIOS/ State boards)
  • Minimum marks– 45% in any of the stream including Humanities, Social Sciences, Commerce & Management, Sciences.
  • Age requirement– not more than 20 yrs. As on 01st July 2019.

CULEE 2019 Expected Exam Pattern

Here we are giving you an exam pattern for Law entrance exam. Paper will be held in written mode. You will get OMR sheet to mark answers. There will be around 120 questions in the objective format. You will see 4 options out of which only one will be correct. You must complete the paper within 2 hours.

CULEE 2019 preparation tips

  • Candidates must keep a close eye on the 2019 exam pattern.
  • You should stress on having a good conceptual base of the topics we have mentioned in the exam pattern portion above.
  • There is no need to read multiple books for concept clearing. NCERT should do the job.
  • Make sure that you are practicing MCQ questions every day.
  • Try and attempt at least 50 questions each day along with theory.

CULEE 2019 Syllabus

Candidates who would like to appear for the CULEE 2019 exam can check the syllabus so that they can begin their preparations. The questions will be asked to test whether you have a decent knowledge of the topics such as-

  • Reasoning: Critical, Analytical and Logical- Puzzles and Seating Arrangement, Syllogism, Data Sufficiency, Coding-decoding, Blood Relation, Order and Ranking, Alphanumeric Symbol Series, Logical reasoning, inequalities etc.
  • English Language/ Comprehension Skills/ Verbal Reasoning – Reading Comprehension, Spotting Errors/Sentence Errors/Improvements, Para Jumble, Fillers etc.
  • General Knowledge– List of Important periods in history such as- Vedic Period, Geography, Science, Polity, Economy, Environment and Ecology, Important facts etc.
  • Quantitative Aptitude, Numerical Ability, Fundamental Mathematical Operations- Age, Area, Simplification, Compound interest, Series, Races and games, Profit and loss, Pipes and Cisterns, Simple interest, Stocks and shares, Time and distance, Surds and indices, Trains, Probability, Clocks, HCF and LCM, percentage, permutation and combination, square root and cube root etc.
  • Data Analysis and Interpretation- Tabular charts, Line chart, Bar chart, Pie chart, Mixed DI, Paragraph/ Caselet, Probability etc.

CULEE 2019 Admit Card

  • Christ University will generate the selection process CULEE 2019 Admit card 5 days prior to the ET.
  • Participants may have to report 30 minutes prior to the allotted time.
  • Failing to report at the center/ venue will mean “Not selected”.
  • Any request for the change in the center, selection process dates and time will not be entertained.
  • CULEE 2019 Answer Key will be Available after the Exam.

CULEE 2019 Result 

  • CULEE 2019 result will be uploaded on the official website.
  • You will be able to see your selection status through the “Application Status” link on the University website.
  • The results will be declared as mentioned in the important dates link.

CULEE 2019 Expected Test Centers

The selection process includes Entrance test, Skill Assessment, Micro Presentation, and Personal Interview. The locations where these phases can be arranged are as follows:-

  • The selection process admit card
  • 1 stamp size and 1 passport size photo

  • Original & 1 set of photocopy of a statement of marks of class 10, class 11/12
  • Copy of valid Photo ID (Driving License / Passport / Electoral ID / Aadhar Card)
  • Copy of transfer certificate from last qualified Institution (If available during the selection process).
  • Xerox of migration certificate (if you are from outside of Karnataka)
  • Copy of passport and visa page for candidates from outside India.
