DASA 2019 Application FormDASA is commonly known as the Direct Admission of Students Abroad. The DASA 2022 is an admission process which is conducted every year by the official authorities with an aim to provide admission to the applicants in different courses. The official conducting authority who will be responsible to organize the DASA 2022 is the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Karnataka, Surathkal, India. The official authorities will provide admission to the applicants on the basis of the SAT / GRE / GMAT entrance exam scores. 

The MHRD (Maharashtra Human Resource Development) Government of India is the official representatives who have launched the DASA 2022 scheme for the eligible applicants with a motive of providing admission to the NRIs (Non Resident Indians) and Foreign National. The applicants who want to get admission in different courses offered in the field of Engineering, Architecture, Design and Management courses offered in various NITs, IISET, SPAs, IIEST, Central Universities and other centrally funded and Premier Technical Institutions must apply for the DASA 2022.

  • In online mode, the official authorities of the National Institute of Technology (NIT) will release the DASA 2022 Application Form.

DASA 2022 Eligibility Criteria

The applicants will have to go through the details that we have mentioned below in this section about the DASA 2022 Eligibility Criteria for the admission process. 

Nationality:

  • The applicants who are NRI – Non Resident Indians, PIO – Person of Indian Origin, OCI – Overseas Citizen of India and Foreign nationals are eligible to apply. 

Age limit:

  • The age limit is different for each course. 

Eligibility Criteria for Under Graduate (UG) Course: 

  • Age limit: For the admission process, the applicants must be born on or after 1st October 1995. 
  • Educational Qualification: The one who have completed the Class 12th that is the HSC board exams or equivalent will be able to get admission in the institution. 
  • Minimum Marks: The applicants must have passed the qualifying exam with more than 60 % marks in total or more. 
  • Recognition: The applicants must have completed their qualifying exam from a recognised board by the Association of Indian University. 
  • Mandatory Subjects: The applicants who had Mathematics and Physics subjects along with any one of the Chemistry, Bio – Technology, Biology or Computer Science Subject in the HSC exams are eligible to apply for the admission process. 
  • Stream: The applicants must have completed their HSC Exams from Science Stream only. 
  • Appearing applicants: The applicants who are in process of completing the HSC Exams are also eligible to apply. 
  • Scorecard: The applicants must hold a valid certificate of SAT entrance exam in order to get admission. 
  • SAT Score: The applicants who want to get admission must have secured at least 1800 scores in the SAT subjects Test which includes Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as Level 2. 

Eligibility Criteria for Post Graduate (PG) Course: 

  • Age limit: For the admission process, the applicants must be above the age of 20 years.
  • Educational Qualification: The one who have completed the Bachelor’s Degree of 4 to 5 years in Under Graduate (UG) courses in the field of Engineering / Technology or equivalent will be able to get admission in the institution. 
  • Minimum Marks: The applicants must have passed the qualifying exam with more than 60 % marks in total or more. 
  • MBA course: The applicant who want to get admission in MBA course must have scored minimum 480 GMAT entrance exam scores. 
  • M. Tech / M. Arch / M. Des / M. Plan: The applicants who have scored minimum 300 GRE Revised General Tests taken are only eligible to apply. 

DASA 2022 Entrance Exam

The admission to the applicants will be provided on the basis of the entrance exam. DASA 2022 Merit List 

In this section we have provided the basic information about the DASA 2022 Merit List that has been prepared by the official authorities. The official authorities of the National Institute of Technology will release the DASA 2022 Merit List in online mode on the official website of the university. 

The official authorities will be preparing the DASA 2022 Merit List for the Under Graduate (UG) courses on the basis of the marks secured by the applicants in the SAT entrance exam. The DASA 2022 Merit List will be prepared only for those applicants whose SAT scores have been received by the MNNIT Allahabad before the due date from the College Board. 

However, the official authorities will also prepare a DASA 2022 Merit List for Post Graduate (PG) courses on the basis of the total GRE / GMAT entrance exam scores. The DASA 2022 Merit List will be prepared only for those applicants whose GRE / GMAT entrance exam scores have been received by the MNNIT Allahabad before the due date from the College Board and only such applicants will be eligible to appear for the seat allotment process.

In the below section, we have provided the basic information about the DASA 2022 Selection Procedure for the reference of the applicants who want to get admission through the DASA admission scheme. The official authorities will provide admission to the applicants in four rounds for the Under Graduate (UG) courses and in two rounds for Post Graduate (PG) courses. 

The applicants who will meet the eligibility criteria will be nominated for the 1st round of seat allotment process. Such applicants can accept the seats allotted by the authorities or can also decline the same. The applicants who will accept the seats in the institution will get the Allotted course / institute and Provisional allotment letter from the official authorities.

However, those applicants who will decline the seats will not be able to appear for the further 2nd and 3rd round of seat allotment process. 

Such applicants will have to register for the 4th round of seat allotment and spot round for admission process. The official authorities will allow the applicants to apply for the 2nd round of seat allotment process if the applicants are not chosen in the 1st round.

Such applicants can also apply for the 3rd round of the seat allotment process. In order to complete the admission process, the applicants will also have to submit the SAT subject test scores to the official authorities in order to get admission in different Under Graduate (UG) course.

DASA 2022 Counselling Session 

 

The applicants who want to get the details about the DASA 2022 Counselling Session can go through the details that we have provided below in this section. The DASA 2022 Counselling Session will be conducted for those applicants who have been nominated on the basis of the scores achieved by them in the entrance exam. In the DASA 2022 Counselling Session the applicants are instructed to carry all the necessary documents along with them for the verification process. 

 

The DASA 2022 Counselling Session will be conducted in online mode. The official authorities will organize the DASA 2022 Counselling Session after the releasing of the DASA 2022 Merit List. In the DASA 2022 Counselling Session the official authorities will conduct the seat allotment process wherein they will allot seats to the applicants who are eligible for the admission. DASA 2022 Admission
