Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya is represented as D.A.V.V. is among the most prominent universities, was started in the year 1964.

It is situated in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.  It extends a choice of UG, PG and Research level programmes to the students in numerous courses, for example, Arts, Science, and Commerce etc.

DAVV 2019 Application Form

Aspirants can embark on the courses at university via an online application form which will be offered on the official website from the day of origination of registration procedure.

The applicants can apply to above one course in a single form. To apply, the applicants will have got to initially enrol themselves on the Devi Ahilya Viswavidyalaya website, a new user. After successful registration, a registration number will be generated.

The registration number is to be used as login ID of the website.

The applicants are recommended to fill the form appropriately and entirely; also add their recent passport size photo and scanned signature.

Application fee aimed at General category students is Rs 750. For SC/ST candidates the fee is Rs 400. The fees will be required to be paid only through an online gateway or through its official booths. No other manner of payment of fees will be acknowledged.

DAVV 2019 Eligibility Criteria

Minimum eligibility for admission to Devi Ahilya Viswavidyalaya is at least 45-55 per cent for both UG (Class XII) and PG (Graduation) courses. But, the minimum cuff-off may vary liable on the course opted for.

A moderation of 5% is allowed to SC/ST candidates originating in Madhya Pradesh.

Age limit for UG courses has been set 23 years and for PG courses is 28 years. There is a prerequisite of lessening of three years for SC/ST/OBC/PWD applicants coming from Madhya Pradesh. There is no upper age limit for females, MBA (HA 2 years) and LLM applicants.

DAVV 2019 Exam Pattern

DAVV CET 2019 will be directed in the online method for two hours. The question paper will encompass MCQs with four possibilities to pick the right answer from.

DAVV CET for Group A and D will be deemed between 10 am to 11:30 am and DAVV CET 2019 for Group B and C will be held between 2 pm to 3:30 pm.

Test paper of Group A and B will contain 75 questions, divided into 5 sections of 15 questions each:

Syllabus for Group C test:

The Test for Group C intends to embrace total 75 questions of which 15 questions will be from English and 20 questions each from Physics, Mathematics/Biology and Chemistry.

In the Test for Group C, choices to the applicant will be in this way:

BPharm: English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology
MBA (HA): English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology
MCA, MTech.: English, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry

Students who do not opt for Mathematics will not be considered for MCA/MTech & similarly who do not opt for Biology will not be considered for MBA (HA)

Syllabus for Group D test:

LLM intend to embrace 75 questions in all covering the all compulsory Law subjects prescribed by BCI (Bar Council of India) for the Undergraduate Programmes.

MSc (Life Sciences/Industrial Microbiology) means to embrace 75 questions grounded on the programme contents at graduation level (BSc) in Biological Sciences.

MSc (Biochemistry) means to embrace 75 questions based on the programme contents at graduation level (BSc) in Biological Sciences.

MSc (Electronics/Electronics & Communication) mean to embrace 75 questions in Physics/Mathematics/Electronics at Undergraduate level.

How to prepare for DAVV 2019

DAVV 2019 Admit Card

Admit cards for entrance tests will be distributed to the applicants by the corresponding departments in advance of the exam day. Listed applicants will be needed to download the admit cards from the university website, via their registration number and date of birth.

  • The admit card can only be downloaded from the website
  • Enter Application number and Password
  • After that download the admit card.
  • Make sure to get printouts of the to admit card
  • It will be required to show it during counselling and admission process.

DAVV 2019 Result

The scores and rank cards for all groups are acknowledged through the official page. DAVV results feature the applicant’s application number, caste category, home status, score and rank. The ranks are assigned to each applicant by reason of total score

Steps to download the Result

  • Go to the official site of the university.
  • Provide for required information such as Application No, Date of Birth or Roll No
  • Tick on the submit button.
  • The result of the applicant will be presented.
  • Candidates must collect the print of the result for later use.

DAVV 2019 Admission/Counselling

Admissions to some of the courses offered at Devi Ahilya Viswavidyalaya are completed through an intramural entrance exams led by its a range of academic departments, while in other courses candidates can enrol through direct admission.

The Common Entrance Test or CET is directed for admissions to the following schools–Institute of Management Studies (IMS), International Institute of Professional Studies (IIPS), Educational Multimedia Research Centre (EMRC), School of Economics (SOE), School of Commerce (SOC), School of Pharmacy, School of Life Sciences, School of Electronics, School of Journalism & Mass Communication, School of Law and School of Bio-Chemistry.

To acquire an entrance in the courses presented by the university’s various school, the candidate should partake in any test. They will be let in through direct admission (on the basis of marks gained in the previous qualifying exam).

The CET is separated into four groups A, B, C and D, on account of the type of courses. Applicants applied for courses in a particular group will be required to answer a common question paper.

After the entrance test, the results will be publicized, and a merit list of positive applicants will be produced. Successful applicants will be asked to attend the counselling, which is compulsory for the entrants to join for acquiring a seat at the university.
