CET Delhi

CET Delhi is the polytechnic entrance examination conducted to offer the full-time admission in diploma courses in various institutes or in colleges of Delhi. CET Delhi entrance exams dates, candidates can check on the official website of the institute.

10 class and 10+2 appeared candidates can apply for the entrance exam of Delhi CET. Delhi CET entrance examination is controlled and managed by the Authority and Department of Training and Technical Education. Syllabus of entrance exams will be from 10th, 11th and 12th standard based syllabus from CBSE board. The examination will be conducted at the end of the week of May. CET Delhi conducts the 5 test, the entrance examination of Delhi Polytechnic will be conducted in Delhi only. Type of Question: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) will be asked in the examination.
No. of Questions: There will be 150 objective type questions will be asked. 50 questions will ask from Mathematics, 40 from Physics, 30 from Chemistry, 15 from Biology & English.
Duration of Exam: Exam duration will 2 hrs. and 30 min.
Negative Marking: 1 mark will be deducted for incorrect answer.
The language of Exam: The question paper will be asked in Hindi and English language.

Delhi CET Application Form:

Candidates are advised to properly the Information Bulletin carefully and acquaint themselves with all requirements with respect to fill-up the Application form for the CET entrance examination.

From March onward, the submission of the online application form through the website can be made.

The Information Brochure will be available ONLINE on official websites.

Candidates are advised to read carefully this information brochure, check their eligibility and applicable reservation category, etc. before filling and submitting the application.

Separate application forms are to be filled for each Test.

Delhi CET exam is basically depending on the 10th and 12th standard of CBSC, ICSE board, the syllabus & exam pattern for every examination is different everyone.

Delhi CET Exam Syllabus:

CET exam is consisting of 5 test, which is as follows:

Test-1:

All the questions in the test are prepared from CBSE board, test one includes the 10th based exam that is engineering / non-engineering diploma courses.

The question pepper of 1st test of Delhi CET exam is including physics, in physics, there will be 40 questions, chemistry, it includes 30 questions, mathematics, in this subject there will be 50 questions, biology, it includes only 15 question, and English, it consists of 15 question. All the question will be in the form of MCQ type.

Test-2:

Test 2 includes a section of English comprehension including the grammar of the 12th standard level, in this, it includes 60 questions.

This test includes current affairs, it consists of 45 question.

And the 2nd test is including logical & analytical ability, which includes 45 questions.

All the questions will be in the form of MCQ type.

Candidates who want to take admission to the diploma course in Modern Office Practice – English need to appear this test.

 Test-3:

Test 3 includes the 12th based syllabus question, it consists of Comprehension including Grammar (60 questions) of the class 12th level, Current Affairs (45 questions) and Logical & Analytical Ability (45 questions) will be asked in the examination.

This test is offering to the candidates to get admission in diploma courses.

This test carried 150 questions from the above syllabus.

Test-4:

In this test, there will be a total of 210 questions, out of which candidates have to attend only 150 questions.

In this test, all the question will be from 12th standard based question, which includes following syllabus or subjects which are under:

Physics, chemistry, mathematics, and biology.

Where physics include 45 question, chemistry includes 45 question, mathematics includes 60 questions.

Physics & Chemistry are compulsory subjects while there is a choice between Biology & Mathematics subjects.

Test-5:

For the preparation of the CET exam, candidates are suggested to prefer 10th,11th and 12th standard syllabus of CBSE board.

This test question paper will be a combination of physics (it includes 60 questions), chemistry (it includes 30 question), and mathematics (it includes 60 question).
