The Delhi University 2020 Application Form can’t be filled in any way except for online.

  • The Online Registration process of Delhi University Admission 2020 for UG entrance based admission will start in the third week of June 2020 tentatively.
  • Through online, the application procedure is followed. The students are advised to fill the Application Form with accurate detail.
  • It will be required to enter your personal (name, parent’s name, category, gender, date of birth, etc.) and qualification with original documents.
  • The merit-based online registration for UG programs will be held from the third week ofMay 2020 to the second week of June 2020.
  • For Admission into PG Programmes, the online registration will start in the second week of June 2020 and end till the fourth week of June 2020.
  • After that, applicants will need to affix scanned images of photograph and signature and as per specification.
  • Applicants can go for submission of fee for DU 2020.
  • After completing all application formalities, they can take a hard copy of the online Application Form to come in handy at the time of admission.

Application Fee:

Delhi University 2020 Application Fee will vary for entrance based and merit based admission.

Mode of Payment: The Application fee for entrance test based admission can be paid online using the debit/credit card or net banking.

For each entrance test/programme, the separate application fee will be charged. No extra fee will be charged for merit-based programme.

Delhi University 2020 Eligibility Criteria

For Merit-Based UG Admission

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) Hons. HSC 10+2 examination with 45% marks
  • BA (VOC): (10+2) examination with at least 40% marks
  • Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) Honors: 10+2examination with 45-55% marks
  • Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com): 10+2 examination with 40% marks
  • Com (Honors): 10+2 examination with 45-55% marks.

For Entrance-based UG Admission 

  • BA (Hons) in Economics: Minimum 60% in 10+2 on four with subjects English, Mathematics and other two subjects
  • BA (Hons) Humanities and Social Sciences: Minimum 60% in 10+2 on four basic subjects
  • BA (Hons) in Multi-Media and Mass Communication (MMMC): 10+2 with 75% on four basic subjects and 85% marks in English
  • Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS): Minimum 60% in 10+2 level on basic four subjects – English, Mathematics and other two subjects
  • BBA-FIA: Minimum 60% in 10+2 on four basic subjects – English, Mathematics and other two subjects
  • Tech (IT & M): Minimum 60% in 10+2 on four basic subjects comprising Mathematics

  • Qualifying Exam: Candidate must have passed his/her 12th level examination or its equivalent from CBSE or any other recognized board or University.
  • Qualifying Subject: He/she must have passed the exam with mathematics subject.
  • Qualifying Marks: Applying candidates of general category must have secured 60% marks in four subjects; OBC – 54%; PwD/CW – 57% and passing marks for candidates of ST/SC category.

For PG Admission 

  • B.Ed, B.Ed Spl. Ed. (Mental Retardation): 50% marks in Bachelors /Masters Degree
  • B.P.Ed.: Bachelors Degree in any stream with 50% marks
  • M.Ed: Relevant bachelors degree with minimum 50% marks

UG Programmes

For B.A (Hons) Multi-Media & Mass Communication

  • Only Female candidates are eligible to apply
  • Qualifying Exam: Applying candidate must have completed his/her 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from CBSE or any other recognized board or University.
  • Qualifying Marks: Candidates must have scored at least 75% marks in best of four subjects and 85% marks in English subject.

For B.Tech (IT and Mathematical Innovation)

For LLM Programme

  • Qualifying Exam: Candidate must have passed his/her 3 or 5 year’s LLB degree from a recognized board or University.
  • Qualifying Marks: Applying candidates must have passed their 3 or 5 year’s LLB degree with 50% marks for general candidates and 45% marks for ST/SC/OBC candidates.

For MCA Programme

  • Qualifying Exam: Applying candidate must have passed their bachelors degree from a recognized board or University.
  • Qualifying Subject: He/she must have passed their bachelors degree with at least one paper in Mathematical Science.

Delhi University 2020 Exam Pattern

  • The exam will be conducted for undergraduate (entrance based) and postgraduate courses.
  • The exam scheme will be varying from the courses provided by the university.
  • The PG entrance exam will be organized as per the OMR pattern.
  • Aspirants should consider that to pursue UG courses (merit-based), there will not be any entrance exam conducted by the university.
  • Exam Date: Delhi University 2020 Admission test for UG programs will be held in first to the second week of July 2020. For Admission into PG Programme, the entrance test will be held in the first week of July 2020.
  • Mode of Exam: The entrance exam will be conducted in online mode by the university.
  • Language Medium: Paper will be both in English and Hindi Language.
  • Time Duration: Total time to complete the test will be of 2 hours.
  • Type of Questions: The exam paper will contain multiple choice questions.
  • Number of Questions: The question paper for UG program will contain a total of 100 questions.
  • Marking Scheme: 4 marks will be given for each correct answer. For every incorrect answer, one mark will be deducted.

Delhi University 2020 Syllabus

  • The UG syllabus for the entrance test will be decided on the standard of class 11th and 12th.
  • After the release of notice by the university, aspirants pursuing entrance UG programs must go through the syllabus.
  • The PG syllabus will be varying from course comprising the syllabus at graduation level in the recommended program.

The admit card for DU 2020 will be provided at the website of Delhi University.

Delhi University Admission 2020 Admit Card will be available in the last week of June 2020 for UG Programmes and PG Programmes in the last week of June 2020. Candidates can download their admit card by online mode after the completion of the registration process successfully.

Delhi University Answer Key 2020

After the end of the exam, students will be able to verify the answer key in online mode. The corresponding department will download the answer code of the DU within 24 hours of the review.

Few hours after the completion of the entrance test for UG and PG Programmes, the University will publish the Answer Key. Candidates will be able to check the Answer key by online mode.

In the case of a discrepancy in the answer key, students can file a complaint within 48 hours after downloading the correction key.

Delhi University 2020 Result

Delhi University 2020 Result will be declared by online mode by the University. It will be released in the third week of July 2020 for UG Admissions and in the second week of July 2020 for PG Admission.

  • To get the scorecard, the correct roll no and date of birth are entered at the official link of result.
  • Those who qualify the exam can apply for counseling. The DU Merit list will be made as per marks and percentage secured by the aspirants in the exam.

DU Cut Off 2020

The cut will be published for the selection of students for admission to the courses based on the merit of UG. Students will be able to verify the 2020 cut of the University of Delhi through the website.

The cut will be published on different tours according to seat availability. The threshold will depend on several factors, such as the number of students requesting admission, the completion of the qualification exam, the availability of places, etc.

The DU 2020 Counselling will be started after the result has been declared. At the time of counseling, applicants will require submitting the genuine documents. The seat will be selected as per the merit list.

  • For PG and UG entrance courses, candidates must qualify for the entrance exam.
  • For PG courses, after the entrance test, students will be evaluated for an interview or group discussion, as appropriate.
  • Candidates who obtain threshold or merit scores can apply for admission.
  • Applicants must print the admission form and continue with the verification process of the document.
  • The 2020 counseling process will begin in June or July 2020 (depending on the course).
