DTE Kerala LET 2018 Application form

All candidates who are interested can fill application. Candidates have to register themselves by fill the DTE Kerala LET application form. Fill the application form and submit before the due date scheduled.  The application form is available online as well as in offline mode. Candidates have to pay formality application fees Rs 750 for general category candidates and Rs.375/- for SC/ST category candidates.

Step-1 Candidate Registration

1. Log in to the official website www.dtekerala.gov.in

2. Click on the link appearing as “LET 2018: Application form…..”. A new web page will appear on the screen, click on the  ” Apply Online” Link.

3. Now click on the ”  Lateral Entry Course Online application link”, then new webpage appears on the screen. Then click on the “Candidate registration” link.

4. After clicking the link you will be redirected to a registration form, fill the details like Candidate Name, Date of Birth, Active E-Mail Id, Working mobile number and choose your “Password”.

5. Completing registration details entry, then click ” Register ” button, after your screen will display a message ” you have successfully LET registered for  2017″. Please note them Application Number, Password for future reference.

Step-2  Candidate Login

6. Then click on ” Candidate Login” on the top menu, enter the application number, Pass word and Security code.

Step-3  Fill up of Online application

7. Entry’s are correct, a new webpage will appear on the screen, click on  “Fill up of Application” link.

8. Fill the entire academic, study , reservation and personal details . Upload photo and signature and click “Save” button.

Step-4  Final Submission

9. This is also a one time procedure. If candidate is sure that all the information correct then  click on ” Final submission” link.

Step-5 Payment of Application fee

10. Candidate has to pay the fee in online mode, click on the ” Online payment” link , then fill the required details and click ” Make payment ” link.

Step-6 :  Print the Application

11. Click on appearing as ” Print your Application” link, enter the required details and click submit button.

Step-7 : Send Filled application form with enclosures to Authority  

12. Filled application form original, Shakti chelan form original and attach related documents (certificates) should be sent by registered post or in person to below address on or before 4th week / March / 2018 5:00 PM

DTE Kerala LET 2018 Eligibility

To apply for admission candidates have to pass Diploma in Engineering/ Technology awarded by any State Board of Technical Education, or Institutions under Govt of India after undergoing regular course of 3 years. All applications have to submit the certificate showing the duration of the course and the details of the certificate issuing authority properly authenticated by the head of an institution concerned, in the space provided in the body of the application form.

Eligibility for appearing in DTE Kerala LET:

• Aspirants must have passed Diploma in Engineering/ Technology awarded by any State Board of Technical Education, or Institutions under Govt of India after undergoing regular course of 3 years.
• Aspirants should produce a certificate showing the duration of the course and the details of the certificate issuing authority properly authenticated by the head of an institution concerned, in the space provided in the body of the application form.
• Aspirants appearing for the final year diploma examination can also apply subject to the condition that they will produce the Qualifying Certificate (Original or Provisional) at the time of admission.

Eligibility for admission:

• Admissions will be based on the ranks acquired in DTE Kerala LET.
• Admissions will be offered subject to regulations of the Universities concerned.
• Aspirants should not be more than 30 years on the last date of submission.
• Non-Keralites are also eligible to apply but their admission will be restricted to the Private Self- Financing institution and Non-Government seats in the Government controlled Self- Financing institutions.
• Aspirants will be admitted only to the branch of Engineering.

DTE Kerala LET 2018 Pattern

For each correct answer candidates will be awarded 3 marks and for each incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted. Marking of more than one question will be considered as a wrong answer. There is no negative marking for not answered. The question comes in exam paper will be from subjects of first-year BTech course and language mode will be English in an exam.

• DTE Kerala LET exam is an OMR based objective type entrance examination.
• A two-hour long exam, it is conducted by The Joint Controller of Technical Examinations, Kaimanam, Thiruvananthapuram.
• For each correct answer, aspirants will get 3 marks and for every question answered incorrectly, 1 mark will be deducted.
• Marking of more than one bubble against a question be considered as a wrong answer.
• Please ensure you do not erase, over-write or partial mark a question as it will be treated as incorrect answer.
• For any question not answered, there will not be any deductions.
• DTE Kerala LET will have questions from subjects of first-year BTech course and English language.

DTE Kerala LET 2018 Admit card

Candidates, those have successfully submitted their application can only download their admit cards. Admit cards will be issued by authority on official portal. Through online mode, candidates can download their admit cards.The admit card contains details such as Candidate’s Name, Address, contact details, test centers etc. Keep your hall ticket copies for further needs.

DTE Kerala LET 2018 Result

DTE Kerala LET 2018 exam result will be announced in the month of June on the official website. Through online mode, only candidates can download their DTE Kerala LET result. A merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks score in the exam. The result will be announced by authority. Candidates suggested to Keep copies of results for admission use.
