DTE Kerala M.Tech Application Form 2020

On the official website of the Department of Technical Education (DTE), Kerala, the M.Tech admission application form has been available and those applicants are interested and eligible to get admission to M.Tech course in the IITs of Kerala State; they can fill the application form through following the simple procedure mentioned below.

  • Candidates need to go on the official webpage of the Department of Technical Education (DTE), Kerala, first of all.
  • They have to register themselves by submitting the required details such as name, date of birth, email id, and mobile number.
  • After that, applicants have to fill the application form by entering the required details such as personal, academic, qualifying exam, and contact details.
  • Candidates have to fill their preferred course and college and then make the payment of the application fee through challan.
  • The print of challan has to be printed out and the fee has to be submitted at the specified branch of State Bank of Travancore.
  • Candidates have to be sent through post to the given address with the self-attested copies of the required documents.

DTE Kerala M.Tech Eligibility Criteria

Applicants need to check their eligibility criteria before filling the application form and it is the first procedure to apply for admission.

  • The applicants must be Indian Citizen
  • Aspirants must have completed their graduation from an institution approved by AICTE/Deemed Universities in India with minimum aggregate marks of 60% in the qualifying exam.
  • SC/ST candidates with passing marks can apply and SEBC (OBC) candidates should have obtained a minimum of 54% aggregate marks in the B.Tech qualifying exam.
  • Candidates qualified in the AMIE/AMIETE examination with a minimum of 55% in Section B will be eligible for Kerala M.Tech admission.
  • Those have passed all subjects up to the 6th semester (8th semester for B.Arch candidates) and appearing in the final year exam will be able to apply.
  • They should be qualified in the GATE examination and those are Non-GATE qualified candidates who can also get admission as per their marks in the B.Tech exam.

DTE Kerala M.Tech Reservation Criteria

Those candidates belong to SEBC (OBC) and OEC categories, they should have to carry their certificate. The seats will be reserved for the candidates as per the norms of the Government of India.

DTE Kerala M.Tech Merit List 2020

The applicants will be shortlisted in the merit list if they will be qualified in the GATE examination and the merit list will be published separately for government-aided and private institutions.

Candidates can check their names shortlisted in the provisional merit list and then verify their marks/category/branch and more.

DTE Kerala M.Tech Cut Off

Cut off marks are the minimum qualifying marks, which should obtain through candidates for admission in the M.Tech course.

As per the various factors such as the number of seats, number of candidates, previous year cutoff trends, and more, the cut off marks will be prepared through authority.

DTE Kerala M.Tech Counseling

There will be two rounds of counseling conducted through authorities to offer admission to the candidates in the M.Tech course.

Candidates selected in the merit list will call out for counseling procedure. The seats will be allotted to the candidates based on GATE scores, preferences selected by the candidates, and availability of seats.

Those are allotted seats, they will get the provisional allotment letter, and applicants have to download it and report at the allotted college and paying the admission fee. The non-GATE candidates from Kerala will be allotted on seats as per vacant seats.
