MH CET 2020The DTE is known as Directorate of Technical Education, Mumbai. In the state of Maharashtra, the Directorate of Technical Education conducts an admission procedure for the eligible applicants intending to provide admission to the eligible applicants in different institutions.

Applicants who are interested in getting admission in the first year of full-time postgraduate degree courses in the field of engineering and technology (ME / M.Tech) courses offered in different government, government-aided, the university managed, university departments and unaided private professional educational institution and universities located in the state of Maharashtra.

However, only those applicants are eligible to appear for the admission procedure who hold a valid scored card of the GATE 2020 entrance exam.

As official authorities will provide admission to the applicants based on the marks secured by them in the GATE 2020 entrance exam. So to appear for the admission procedure applicants need to appear for the GATE entrance exam and score well in the entrance exam.

And for the reference of the applicants, the GATE entrance exam will be conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology.

Nationality:

  • Indian citizens are eligible to apply for the admission procedure.
  • However, NRI, PIO, OCI & foreign nationals are also eligible to apply for the admission procedure.

Educational qualification:

  • One must have completed a bachelor’s degree in the relevant field of engineering and technology from All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government approved institutions or equivalent.

Qualifying marks:

  • General category applicants should score more than 50% marks in the qualifying exam.
  • And reserved category applicants should score a minimum of 45% marks in the qualifying exam.

Scorecard:

  • One should hold a valid score card of GATE (Graduates Aptitude Test in Engineering) 2020 to get admission.

Work experience:

  • One should hold a minimum of two years of full-time work experience in a registered firm/ company/industry /educational and research institute / any government department or government autonomous organization in the relevant
