How to Fill the form of combined defence services examination 

CDS stands for (Combined Defence Service ) and UPSC stands for (Union Public Service Commission ). CDS conducted by UPSC. And UPSC conduct the examination two times in years. SSB (Services Selection Board ) takes the interview. There are two of selection stages. Stage I Picture Perception/ Description Test (PP&DT) for Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) tests. Phase II consists of interview like Psychology Tests, Group Testing Officer Tasks etc.

All you know about CDS examination

The applicants are advised to submit an only single application.

In written examination and marking the answer, the candidates must use only black ball pen. Don’t use with any other colour pen.

Candidates should now that there will be a negative marketing in the objective type question paper.

Women candidates are being considered only for Short Service Commission at OTA. They should indicate OTA as the only choice.

In the online application form, the candidate should carefully choose the centre for the examination.

Candidates will be informed of the time table and or examination place or candidates should note that no request for change of centre.

A candidate recommended by the Services Selection Board will undergo a medical examination by a Board of Service Medical Officers.

Instruction for Filling Online Form

The candidates were applying for the examination should make sure that they fulfil all the eligibility condition for admission.

Before start filling up online application form, the candidate needs his scanned photograph and signature with them in the jpg formation. The photography should not exceed 40 KB and must not be less than 3 KB in size, and the signature should be 1KB.

Candidates will be required to complete the Online Application form containing two stages viz. Part I and Part II with the through drop down menu.

The candidates are required to pay a form fee of Rs. 200/- (Rupees two hundred only).

the Notice who are exempted from payment of fee] either by depositing the money in any branch of SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of State Bank of India/State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/State Bank of Hyderabad/State Bank of Mysore/State Bank of Patiala/State Bank of Travancore or by using any Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card.

The candidate’s applicants make sure that they while filling their Application Form, they are providing their valid and active E-mail Ids as the Commission may use electronic mode of communication while contacting them at different stages of examination process.

The applicants are advised to check their e-mails at regular intervals and ensure that the email address ending with @nic.in is directed to their inbox folder and not to the SPAM folder or any other folder.

 

How to fill the CDS Application Form by step to step

Step 1: – Go to the UPSC original site www.upsc.gov.in

Step2: –  Click on online application for various Examination of UPSC.

Step 3: – It will show you a new page and click on part – I registration  of CDS.

Step 4 :- After clicking  on part – I registration  of CDS it will show you a important instruction to fill online form.

Step 5: –  Scroll down and you read  and  understood all  the important instruction and detail instruction. You agree with the instruction. Click on the  yes button .

Step 6: – Fill your personal  details like.

  • Name: – Mukesh Sandeep  Agarwal
  • Gender: – Male
  • Date of birth:- 10/1/1984
  • Father Name: – Sandeep Agarwal
  • Mother name: – Manisha Agarwal
  • Nationality: – India
  • Martial status: – Married
  • Community: – General
  • Choose your education qualification: – XYZ
  • Address

Line 1: – sector 23, Awing

Line 2:- Anand Nagar

Line 3:- Virar West

District/City :- Thane

After that click on continue button.

Step 7:- Special details for Combined Defence Service i.e.

  • Do you hold vail and current commercial pilot license issued by DGCA (India) – do you have so click on yes , you don’t have so click on No.
  • Choose the preferences, use the number 1,2,3 and 4 to give the preferences
  • Whether having likely to hve NCC `c’ certificate sr. Division (Army/Navy/AFA) – none
  • Whether seriving in Army force – no.
  • Whether you belong to sainik school – no.

Click on continue button.

Step 8: – And verified your application details.

Step 9: –  If you want to update  your appication /change any information you written wrong just click on update button to do right.

Step 10: – Enter the captcha code.

Step 11: – Then click on I agree on button.

Step 12: – After you agree, No change will be permissible in Part – I Registration of your application.

Step 13: – Click on ok button.

Step 14: – After wrote down your registration ID.you have completed your Part – I Registration

Step 15: – After wrote down your registration ID.you have completed your Part – I Registration

Step 16: – Click on Part – II Registration

Step 17: -Enter your registration ID, and your date of Birth.

Step 18: – Click on Submit button.

Step 19: – Choose your examination center.

Step 20: – Press on submit button.

Step 21: – Upload your scanned photo, and upload your scanned signature

Step 22: – Click on upload image button.

Step 23: – Conform upload image.

Step 24: – Click on continue button.

Step 25: – Read the declaration .and click on I agree on the button.

Step 26: – If you want to print out your filled application form. Click on the print application.

 

Form fees

  1. General category and male candidate need to pay Rs. 200. Reserved category candidate and women do not need to pay any application fee.
  2. Female ST/SC candidates exempted from payment of fee.
  3. The form will be filled in two parts. In the first half you need to fill the personal details and second half continue with payment procedure.
  4. No fee expectation in fee to OBC candidates.
  5. Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances nor can the fee be held in reserve for any other examination or selection.

    Hii frnds i have filled my CDS form and i chose IMA as 1 & OTA as 4, rest all AFA & INA are 0…0 is there will be any problem in the result making of mine after written.
