The FMGE 2025 Exam for the June Session is slated to be conducted in the fourth week of June 2025. The Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) is a national-level entrance exam conducted twice a year. It enables students to obtain provisional or permanent registration with the Medical Council of India. The examination is overseen by the National Board of Examinations (NBE). Eligible candidates will have the opportunity to register with the Medical Council of India upon successful completion of the exam.

The Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) serves as both a screening test and a licensing exam, essential for international medical graduates aspiring to practice medicine in India. The National Medical Commission (NMC) has entrusted the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) with the responsibility of conducting this exam biannually, in June and December.

Indian students and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) who have completed their primary medical education, equivalent to MBBS, from institutions outside India, are required to take the FMGE exam. They must score a minimum of 50% marks in this exam to become eligible for provisional or permanent registration with the NMC or State Medical Council. Currently, there are no restrictions on the number of attempts allowed for taking this exam.

FMGE 2025 Application Form

• Applicants can get the FMGE 2025 Application Form online in 4th week of May 2025 for the June session and 4th week of November 2025 for the December session.
• The applicants must visit the University’s official website to get the FMGE 2025 Application Form.
• Applicants are requested to fill out the FMGE 2025 Application Form and submit the form in online mode only as other than online mode; the official authorities will not accept the FMGE 2025 Application Form.

• Applicants can change the FMGE 2025 Application Form until the last date of submission of the FMGE 2025 Application Form.
• Once the FMGE 2025 Application Form is submitted, the applicant will not be able to make any changes in the same.

• Once the FMGE 2025 Application Form is filled, the applicants are advised to take a printout of the duly filled FMGE 2025 Application Form for further reference.
