Through the FRI Entrance exam, admission will be offered in M.Sc Programs in Forestry, Wood Science and Technology, Environment Management, and Cellulose and Paper Technology. FRI M.Sc 2023 entrance examination will be conducted by Forest Research Institute M.Sc. Dehradun.

Candidates have to pay the application form through On-Line facility including credit card, debit card or net-banking or Offline mode through bank draft is drawn in favor of “The Registrar, Forest Research Institute University” payable at Dehra Dun, P.O.I.P.E., Kaulagarh Road, Dehradun–248 195 (by post). FRI M.SC Admission 2023 Application fee is Rs.1200/-.

FRI M.SC Admission 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must check the following details regarding FRI M.SC Admission 2023 Eligibility Criteria for admission:  

Nationality:  India National candidates or Foreign country citizens are eligible to apply.

Qualification details: For M.Sc. Forestry: candidates pass the Bachelor’s degree in science with a minimum of 3 yrs. at any one subject from (Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Maths, Physics, Zoology and Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or Forestry) are eligible to apply.

For M.Sc. Wood Science and Technology: to apply he/she needs to hold the degree of B.Sc. degree in Forestry and have a Bachelor’s degree of 3 yrs. with mandatory Physics, Maths, and Chemistry subjects.

For M.Sc. Environment Management: Bachelor’s degree of 3 yrs. in any branch of Basic or Applied Science or pass the Bachelor’s degree in (Forestry or Agriculture or B.E/B. tech in Environment Science).

For M.Sc. Cellulose and Paper Technology: candidate needs to pass Bachelor’s degree 3 yrs. in science with Chemistry as one of the subjects or needs to complete B.E/B. Tech. (Chemical or Mechanical engineering). 

Percentage: Candidates of the General category need to secure 50% marks and the ST/SC category is 45% marks in the qualifying examination. 

Age Limit for In-service Candidate: The maximum age limit is 50 years.

• Candidates applying criteria should match with the FRI M.SC Admission 2023 Eligibility criteria. The application form can be filled in two ways online or offline online mode, By Visiting the official website of FRI Dehradun & download the application form.
• OR Offline mode – obtaining form by paying INR 1200 cash in Registrar, Forest Research Institute Deemed to be University, Dehradun. OR through a post on paying the amount INR 1200 in the form of a Demand Draft which should be drawn in favor of ‘Registrar, Forest Research Institute Deemed to be University payable at Dehradun’.
• In the application details need to be written: candidate’s name, date of birth, category, gender, Mobile number, correspondence address and permanent address, work experience, and communication details etc.
• And make sure to provide the Qualification documents mark sheets, certificate, and other requirements as asked.
