GATE 2019 Exam Dates has been released now. GATE is regarded as the typical examination conducted not just for postgraduate admissions but also to open up the gates to get rewarding opportunities in many public sector partnerships and research associations.

There are some major changes has been done for the GATE 2019 examination, which are mentioned below:

  • The GATE 2019 examination will be conducted for total of 24 papers. A new paper Statistics(Code – ST) has been added.
  • Students will also get an opportunity to submit the application form after the due date.
  • IIT, Madras is the conducting authority of GATE 2019 examination.

GATE 2019 Application Form 

Candidates can check this section to know complete details about the application form:

  • Candidates will register & fill application only through online mode on the official website.
  • GATE 2019 application form will be available from 1st September 2018 to 21st September 2018.
  • Candidates of Gate 2019 should send their scanned photographs of maximum size (480*640 pixels)
  • Candidates of Gate 2019 should scan their existing degree documents, category certificates and dyslexia certificate (if needed)
  • Candidates of Gate 2019 should be allowed to choose three examination cities at that time itself.
  • Candidates of 2019 will have to fill in their specific ID Number as the following i.e.: Adhere ID, College ID, driving License, Employee ID, Passport, Pan card and Votes ID.
  • Candidates will not need to send their hard copy of application/ documents to their email IDs.
  • Candidates of Gate 2019 will have to take out a print out of the Gate Application for further references.

GATE 2019 Application Fee:

  • Gate 2019 candidates should deposit the application fee by using net banking or by debit care or Credit card.
  • Gate 2019 application fee will not get refunded and returned back

Application Correction:

Candidates must fill application carefully; the correction will not be allowed in any fields except exam city center. Other details about correction are given below:

  • Candidates can correct the exam city from 3rd week of November 2018 with correction fee of Rs. 400.
  • Last year, the correction was done in Gender, Category and PwD status with Rs. 750 as correction fee.
  • Apart from this, the institution has also provided correction facility in the name of the Candidate, Date of Birth, Name of Parent/Guardian, Qualifying Degree, Year of Qualifying Degree & Have you graduated in the above degree? by sending a request to officials along with a document proof.

GATE Exam Pattern 2019

GATE 2019 exam pattern complete information is mentioned here:

  • Papers: GATE examination will be conducted for 23 subjects/papers on 2nd, 3rd, 9th & 10th February 2019.
  • Exam Mode: Gate 2019 is a computer-based exam which will be done online.
  • Type of Questions: Gate 2019 paper will be of multiple choice questions and Numerical type questions in which will be given for the examination.
  • Attempt: Gate 2019 candidates can sit only for one examination.
  • Session: Gate 2019 will be held in two sittings, i.e. (9.00 to 12:00) and (2:00 pm to 5:00 pm) in the evening.
  • Duration: Gate 2019 examination will be a three-hour paper.
  • Number of Questions: Gate 2019 will have 65 questions in the exam paper.
  • Marks: Gate 2019 will be out of 100 marks.
  • Section Common in All GATE Papers: It is necessary to do a General Aptitiude (GA) portion.

  • Gate 2019 examination is given in a significant and different response to the type of questions so that it will bring the correct marks

GATE 2019 Admit Card 

In this section, we are providing details about GATE admit card 2019 releasing date, mode & other information:

  • Gate 2019 candidates will be given their admission card by online mode when entering their enrolment ID/ Email address and password.
  • Gate 2019 is not allowed to send their Admit card by post or email to the candidates.
  • Downloading of GATE Hall Ticket 2019 will be started from 4th January 2019.
  • Gate 2019 candidates should know before starting the examination, their photograph and fingerprints will be taken for the selected candidates.
  • Candidates of GATE 2019 should bring their Original proof along with their admission cared during the day of the examination
  • Gate 2019 Candidates should download their Admit  card and take a colored print out

GATE 2019 Answer Key

  • The answer keys for various papers will be published after a few days of the examination. Candidates will check it through online mode on the website. Gate 2019 answer key will be announced after a few days of the examinations candidates will check their answer on their official website
  • GATE Answer Key/ question papers of 2019 will be released on different dates as per paper. Students must be given their answer key within the given time frame or it will be against the payment

GATE Result 2019

Through this section, candidates can get their information on their scorecard such as date, style, etc..

  • Candidates will check GATE 2019 result on 16th March 2019.
  • Gate 2019 result will be out on their website.
  • Gate 2019 registration number or date of birth can be seen when entering the website.
  • Gate 2019 examination will not be allowed to be offline or in any other mode.

GATE 2019 Rank Card

  • Gate 2019 report card will be available only to qualified students. Which it will be released after the result is announced.
  • Gate 2019 report card will be valid for three years during the announcement of the results.
  • Candidates should download their scorecard from 20th March to 31st March 2019.
  • Gate 2019 if candidates should take their soft copy after the previous date, they will need to pay Rs. 500 for getting the same in December 2019.

GATE 2019 Cut off marks

  • Gate 2019 cut off marks will be published after the announcement of the result, check out the details in the website for the cut off and Publishing date, etc.
  • Candidates who have a high score can get admission for Post Graduate and other courses.
  • GATE 2019 cut off marks will be printed by an online mode which will be same in the categories & papers.

GATE Counselling 2019

No centralized counseling will be organized by the authority for admission to PG courses.

  • Gate 2019 Candidates will have to apply individually for each IIT.
  • Centralized Counseling for M. Tech/ M. Arch and M. Plan admission will be taken to several other funded colleges.
  • Gate 2019 counseling will start in April 2019 through an online mode, i.e., Skype and Google chat.
  • Gate 2019 candidates who have a valid report card of 2017, 2018 and 2019 can apply for counseling.
  • Gate 2019 candidates will have to fill in their own choices of colleges and courses as per their likings during the time of registration of counseling.
  • Candidates of gate 2019 have to sit on the bases of rank, filter led choices, category, availability of seats, etc.
