GATE 2020 Examination Schedule has been released now. GATE Stands for (Graduate Aptitude Test Engineering). IIT Delhi will be conducting GATE 2020 for taking admission into M. Tech / Ph.D. programs. Form this year 2020, Exam is Conducted by IIT Delhi.
GATE 2020 Exam Date has been Announced by IIT Delhi Authority. The Exam will be held on 1st, 2nd, 8th, 9th February 2020. GATE 2020 examination will be organized by the IITs & IISc, Bangalore on a rotation basis. GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering): This is a National level Entrance Exam for the Post Graduate courses who want to enter the engineering & Technology.
GATE 2020 Mock Test has been Started for Exam Practice on 9th November 2019. It’s a Graduate aptitude test for engineering. The Scores from GATE can help to get admissions in M. Tech/Ph.D. programs in multiple sectors like IIT’s & IISER’s. GATE exams are held every year on a rotational basis by the IIT’s & IISC in multiple zones. GATE 2020 Registration
Candidates can check this section to know complete details about the Application Form:
- Candidates will register & fill GATE 2020 Application Form only through online mode on the official website.
- GATE 2020 Registration has been started on 1st September 2019 to the 5th of October 2019.
- GATE 2020 Application Correction has been started on 15th October 2019.
How to Fill GATE 2020 Application
- Upload your Scanned images such as photograph (Maximum Size: 480×640 pixels, Minimum Size: 240×320 pixels & Dimension: 3.5 cm × 4.5 cm) and signature (Maximum Size: 160×560, Minimum Size: 80×280 pixels & Dimension: 2cm × 7cm).
- Candidates also have to upload the Certificate of qualifying degree, category certificate and Dyslexia certificate (if applicable).
- At the time of GATE Registration 2020, candidates can choose three exam cities as examination centers.
- Candidates also have to fill ID number specified in any of the following, i.e., Aadhaar-UID, College ID, Driving License, Employee ID, Passport, PAN Card & Voter ID.
- There will be no need to send any hard copy of the application/documents to the officials.
- Candidates should take a print copy of the GATE Application Form 2020 for further reference.

GATE 2020 Syllabus for each of the papers will be different. The GATE Exam will be organized for 25 papers/subjects. The syllabus will be released by the conducting authority separately for each paper in a PDF format. These papers & detailed syllabus are:

GATE 2020 Preparation Tips
GATE 2020 Mock Test has been started on 9th November 2019. GATE 2020 Examination is given in a significant and different response to the type of questions so that it will bring the correct marks. GATE 2020 past papers of last year will be given so that the candidates can focus and have knowledge of the paper.
- GATE 2020 candidates should focus on their theory and Numerical issues.

GATE 2020 Admit Card
The applicant has to download the GATE 2020 Admit Card from the website GOAPS. Only the candidates who have successfully submitted their application will get Admit Cards. Candidates will get admit card through online mode by entering their Enrollment ID/email address & password.
There will be no facility to send Admit card by post or email to the candidates. Downloading of GATE Hall Ticket 2020 will be started on 3rd January 2020. The applicant needs to carry the Admit card with one identification proof while coming to the exam hall.
GATE 2020 Answer Key
The exam will end in the 2nd week of February 2020 tentatively. The authorities will release the answer key after the completion of exams. There will be a separate answer key provided for each discipline. There will be a reasonable fee for the answer key challenge facility.
GATE 2020 Result
The results for the GATE 2020 will be available on the GOAPS portal, which will be on the GATE website and also download their scorecard by entering their registration number and date of birth. Candidates will check GATE 2020 Result on the 16th March 2020. GATE Scorecards will only be available after the declaration of results. The Applicants will get the GATE scorecards whose marks are equal or more than the cutoff marks.
GATE 2020 Scorecard
Only the applicants who qualified will be provided with the GATE Scorecard. The GATE Scorecard will be valid for three years after the released results. The GATE 2020 Scorecard will have the information about the performance and the entrance test. Applicants will be able to download the Scorecard tentatively from March 2020.
GATE 2020 Cut Off
The admissions for the IIT’s & IISC will be decided on the GATE Cut Off marks for an applicant. The GATE Cut Off marks help to understand if the applicant is qualified for exams or not. GATE 2020 marks are different for each stream. There are two types of candidates PRIMARY and UNRESERVED, and the CUT OFF marks are reserved for each.

GATE 2020 Counselling
The Authority will not conduct any centralized Counseling for the admission of qualified candidates. Once the IIT’s notification is released, the applicants need to apply individually for the same. The NIT organizes centralized counseling for the M. / M. Arch. / M. Plan. Admissions (CCMT).The Counselling will start after the Result. Counselling ultimately depends on the GATE 2020 Scores.
NIT’s conducts a common counseling every year. During the counseling process, candidates have to choose courses and colleges as per their preferences. As per the rank secured in the exam, filled choices, availability of seats and category of candidates, seats will be allocated in various institutions for admission.
