GATE 2025 Application Correction will be Started in 3rd week of November 2024. GATE, an acronym for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, is conducted by the seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) on a rotational basis. Registration for GATE is conducted exclusively through online means.

IIT Roorkee has been designated as the organizing institute for GATE 2025. During the registration process for GATE, it is common for candidates to make mistakes or provide incomplete information in the form.

GATE 2025 Application Correction will be started in 3rd week of November 2024. The last Date for Requesting a Change of Examination City (an additional fee will be applicable) can be done by 4th week of November 2024. IIT Bombay conducts the GATE exam for admission to the academic year 2025. The registration process for GATE 2025 can be done via online mode. Applicants often make mistakes or provide insufficient details when filling out the application form. The GATE 2025 Admit Card admission will have the exact details as in the application.

Candidates registering for GATE have the opportunity to edit details such as contact address, college name, or degree nomenclature free of charge. However, for changes to the name or date of birth, a correction fee of Rs. 500/- is required. The correction window for these particulars will be available from the third week of November 2025 until the fourth week of the same month.

Correction is only provided for limited fields. Requests to correct GATE 2025 Applications are only received via the online mode. The correction in the application form will be limited to specific details only. Therefore, applicants are strictly advised to complete all changes in the application form carefully. After submitting the application form, students can check the application status.

Candidates have the opportunity to make changes in their Name, Date of Birth (DOB), College name and location, Roll No., Registration No., etc. until November 2024. To initiate these changes, follow these steps:

• After logging in, candidates should click on the “Change Personal Data” option.
• Make the necessary modifications to the application details.

After submitting the modified details, candidates will be directed to the payment page to pay any correction fees (if required). Please refer to the following table to check the fee charges for a particular change:
