There are no specific dates for the GMAT 2020 examination. The examination will be conducted multiple times in one year. The registration for the exam will be available throughout the year. Candidates must choose the exam dates at the time of registration as per their choice.

GMAT 2020 Application Form

  • The GMAT 2020 Application Form will be filled by those applicants who are intended to apply for the GMAT 2020. The students will need to fill all the details in the form as part of the application.
  • The application form is necessary to be provided with relevant information to get successfully registered.
  • After filling all the details in the form, you have to provide all the documents and certificates regarding the application.
  • One of the basic points to be noted in each of the filled details should be in the original form.
  • They must not specify any wrong data about your character.

Application Fee:

  • Candidates can pay the application fee through online mode via debit card, credit card, and net banking.
  • Candidates can also pay the application fee through offline mode via cashier checks or money checks.
  • Candidates will have to pay the application fee US $250 & approximately 17027.50 in India for appearing in the exam.
  • Moving to the other application step, you will require submitting the fee which is US $250 that is INR 170275. The payment will be made in various ways like JCB cards/Visa/MasterCard/American Express
  • It can also be made through Money order, Cashier Checks, and personal checks.

GMAT 2020 Eligibility Criteria

GMAC does not specify any certain Eligibility Criteria to be necessarily followed by aspirants. But looking at all the factors would be sensible to some degree.

  • Age Limit: The minimum age limit is 18 years and no maximum age limit to apply.
  • Qualification: Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree recognized from any university.
  • Number of Attempts: Candidates can appear more than five times in one year.
  • Re-Appear: Candidates have to wait for 16 days to appear again in this test.
  • If candidates have achieved a score of 800, they must wait five years to take the exam again.

Age Criteria:

The students will be considered for the exam on the age basis which is 18 years, and those above the prescribed age will not be applying for the exam.

Qualification Required: 

  • Applicants will be required to first qualify their graduation degree from reputed institutions.
  • The examination will be conducted by CBT or Computer Based Test
  • The students will need to sit for the exam for three and a half hours
  • The question paper will incorporate 800 marks
  • Summing up, the paper will be comprised of Verbal, Quantitative, Analytical Reasoning, and Integrated Reasoning.
  • Analytical Writing will have 30 minutes a, and there will be one question on Analysis of Argument and scores will range between 0-6
  • The second part will Integrate Reasoning featuring 30 minutes adorned with 12 questions on Graphics interpretation, Table Analysis, Two-part Analysis, and Multi-Source Reasoning.
  • Scores between 1-8.
  • Quantitative Section will be held in 75 minutes, 37 questions will have to be hit by students from Problem Solving and Data Sufficiency.
  • The scores between 0-60
  • The next section includes Verbal Comprehension lasting 75 minutes.
  • Aspirants will have to answer 41 questions within the required time.
  • The questions will be on the standard of Sentence Correction, Critical Reasoning, and Reading Comprehension.

  • Time Duration: The total time duration will be 3 and ½ hours including two optional breaks.

GMAT 2020 Syllabus

The whole syllabus of the GMAT 2020 will be divided into four different parts. The quantitative section, the Analytical Writing section, and the Verbal Skills and Integrated Reasoning section will be consisting of the exam.

The program will be divided into four sections, i.e., analytic writing assessment, quantitative reasoning, integrated reasoning, and verbal reasoning. It will check the candidate’s grammar usage while presenting the answer, etc.

The second section will be integrated reasoning this will includes a question like graphic interpretation, table analysis, two-part analysis, and multi-source reasoning, etc.

The third section will be the quantitative section. It will check candidates’ Maths skills. This section will include topics from data sufficiency and problem-solving questions.

GMAT Preparation Tips

  • Candidates must resolve the last document and model from four to five years.
  • Make a study plan to give the same time to each section.
  • Select the right books, study material, reference books for preparation.
  • Try to make brief notes for the review.
  • Candidates must also join the coaching institutions for the preparation of this exam.

GMAT 2020 Admit Card

The Admit Card will be made obtainable to students online. The exam conducting authority will not send any GMAT 2020 Admit Card to the candidates. Aspirants will get a GMAT 2020 confirmation letter. A confirmation letter will include details like candidates name, exam center, date and time of examination, etc. Candidates must check the exam date and center on this letter.

  • It will become important to access the admit card and confirmation letter from the website.
  • There is no offline way to get the admit card which will contain exam related details such as the time of the exam, venue, and date of exam, etc.
  • Students will be under obligation to bring the printed copy of the hall ticket when going for the examination.
  • For your convenience, it will also be needed to get other documents like id proof on the examination day.
  • The admit card must have your photograph and examiner’s signature proving as an identity during the examination.

GMAT 2020 Result 

As per instruction of GMAC, students will get their mark sheet from the website which is going to be publicized will be published at least three weeks before the examination

  • Students who have appeared in the exam may also get the result by email.
  • Through email, you will receive important details, GMAT scores of previous years, the Analytical Writing Assessment score, and personal details.
  • The students will have an option to get the result or reject the result.
  • By choosing the result, you will choose the institution and get the scores. Suppose, you go for reject option, you will no longer be able to get the result. The scores will be accessible after three weeks of the examination.

GMAT 2020 Admission Procedures

The Admission procedures will not take place after all students have got the result in their hands.

The GMAC (Graduate Management of Admission Council is the main authority that conducts the admission procedures for all students.

GMAT scores are used to gain admission into several management courses. When the marks are made to students, B-Schools will estimate the skill of students through the perimeter of the MBA course. The scores will be used to select the students. The participating students will be going through selection as per application, education criteria, work experience, recommendation letters, mention of preference and final interview.

Admission will be offered by the candidate’s score. The final admission selection will be based on various factors like the statement of purpose, application form or final interview rounds. Academic profile, work experience, extra circular activities will be given preferences for providing admission.
