Goa NEET Counselling 2024 Application Form will be released in 4th week of July 2024 through Offline Mode. The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Goa, will be the counselling conducting authority for admissions to the state’s MBBS Government and Private medical universities.

As per the Supreme Court Order, NEET, no other entrance exam will be conducted for admission to MBBS seats in India. Candidates seeking admission to the various Govt. and Private colleges in the state must register for counselling.

The admissions to 85% of state quota seats in government institutes and private universities will be provided by DTE Goa. The admission to all India quota 15% seats will be provided by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

Goa NEET Counselling Dates 2024

• The candidates must have Indian Nationality.
• The NRI candidates holding Indian passports, Overseas Citizens of India and Persons of Indian Origin are also eligible under the NRI Category.
• The candidates should have completed 17 years of age as of 31^st December 2024 of the academic year.
• The candidates must have passed class 12th with subjects such as English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology from Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination.
• The candidates should have obtained a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% in the case of PWD and 40% in the case of reserved categories) in PCB.
• The candidates must obtain 50% marks in NEET for admission to MBBS.

Goa MBBS 2024 Application Form

The application form for Goa MBBS 2024 will be published online at dtegoa.gov.in. Candidates must provide their Personal Details, Educational Qualification Details, and other details in the online application form.

Incomplete application forms will be cancelled. Candidates should upload their photograph and signature in the online application form.

Application Fees

As per last year’s information, the candidates have to pay an amount of Rs.1500 through online mode only.

Goa MBBS 2024 Merit List

The Directorate of Technical Education will publish the merit list on the official website for only the qualified candidates of NEET 2024. Goa MBBS 2024 Merit List will be prepared based on the NEET 2024 scores.

It will consist of the following details: the qualified candidate’s name, score, state rank, total marks obtained, etc.

Goa MBBS 2024 Counselling

The candidates whose name appear on the merit list will be eligible to appear for counselling. The candidates, as per their ranking and their preferences, will be allotted the college or institute of their choice.

After the candidates are allotted the seat, the candidates have to report to the Institute to verify documents and pay fees.

Selection & Admission Procedure

• The counselling of NEET 2024 in Goa state will be conducted for the candidates who will appear and qualify for the NEET Exam.
• Candidates should fill out the application form for participating in the counselling.
• The candidates must present in person at the counselling venue for seat allotment.
• Candidates can choose a seat from the seats available at admission per their ranks.
• The admission will be completed only when the submission of original documents and payment of fees is successfully done.
• After the seat allotment, candidates must report to the allotted college within three working days to grant admission.

• SC (Scheduled Caste): 2%
• ST (Schedule Tribe): 12%
• OBC (Other Backward Class): 27%
• PH (Physically Handicapped): 3%
• FF (Freedom Fighter): 1%
• CSP (Central Government Sector Employee of Goa): 3%
• ESM (Ex-Servicemen): 1%
• GN (Grand Daughter/Son of Defense Personnel): 2%
• NRI (Non-Resident of India): Up to 5%
