GUJCET 2018: Counselling, Cut-off, Admission Process, Allotment

GUJCET 2018 Seat Allotment for engineering course has been released on 5th July 2018. Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET 2018) is a state level entrance test which is administered by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB).GUJCET is administered by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB).

GUJCET 2018 Choice Filling (Mock Round) for pharmacy course is starting from 15th June 2018.

Through this GUJCET exam candidates can get admission into engineering and degree/diploma pharmacy courses in government, grant in aid and self-finance institutes of Gujarat. Candidates who had passed 10+2 examination can participate in this entrance exam.

GUJCET Counselling 2018


Online counseling is conducted by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC)  for the selected candidates for granting admission.During counseling time, candidates can exercise their preferences for colleges. The seat will be allowed on the based on candidate’s merit, category, and availability of seats.

 

The documents that candidates have to carry with them:

  • 12th Standard Mark Sheet
  • 10th Standard Mark Sheet
  • Transfer Certificate
  • Category Certificate (if applicable)
  • GUJCET 2018 Result
  • Passport Size photographs

GUJCET Admit Card 2018


Admit card will be issued online on 17th April 2018. Candidates must bring their admit card to the examination hall to appear the exam. Candidates can download their hall ticket from the official portal of GUJCET. Through online mode, the candidate can check their hall ticket. Those candidates who successfully submitted and registered themselves can only download the hall ticket. All Candidates compulsory have to carry ID cards and Hall ticket with them.

Eligibility Criteria 2018


To apply for examination there are norms and conditions which is fixed by the exam conducting authority to be eligible for admission. The eligibility criteria are provided so that candidates can check whether they are eligible for appt or not.  Applicant applying must be the citizen of India and should be the resident of Gujarat.Applicants those who are resident of Gujarat but are residing outside Gujarat are also eligible to apply.

The eligibility criteria for appearing the GUJCET 2018 is as follows:

  • Nationality: Applicant must be the citizen of India.
  • Domicile: Student must be the resident of Gujarat. Those who are the resident of Gujarat but are residing outside Gujarat are also eligible to apply.
  • Minimum Qualification: Applicant must have passed the 12th examination from Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar/CBSE, Delhi/CISCE, New Delhi/NIOS/International School Board.
  • Appearing Candidates: Candidates who will complete the 10+2 examination in 2018 are also eligible to apply.
  • Minimum Marks:10+2/HSC/qualifying examination should be passed with minimum 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category candidates).

 

GUJCET Exam Pattern 2018


 

In exam paper Total 120 Number of Questions will be asked to candidates. MCQ Type of Questions having four alternatives from the syllabus subject covered under the examination are Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology will be asked in the exam. The exam will be maximum of 120 marks. Candidates have to complete paper within 3 hours as per boards’ rules.

 

Here, we are providing details of GUJCET 2018 exam pattern:

  • Number of Questions: The question paper will be comprised of total 120 questions.
  • Type of Questions: Only multiple-choice questions having four alternatives will be asked in the exam.
  • Subjects Covered: The subjects covered under the examination are Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology.
  • Maximum Marks: Examination will be of maximum 120 marks.
  • Exam Duration: Examination will be 3 hours
  • Negative Marking: There is a system of negative marking in GUJCET. 25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

GUJCET Answer Key 2018


GSEB authority will release the GUJCET 2018 answer key after the exam on 26th April 2018. A candidate who wants to check their performance can check their answer written in an examination .Candidates can cross check their answers with the help of official answer key. Answer key will contain the correct answers with detail information with all the questions asked in the exam.

GUJCET Result 2018


GUJCET 2018 results has been anounced on 10th May 2018. Candidates who have to attain exams paper can check their result online through the official website of GSEB or by accessing our page. GUJCET 2018 merit list will be prepared on the bases of providing 60% weighting to the marks scored in theory subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology and 40% weight scored in GUJCET.

GUJCET Syllabus 2018


The entrance exam will be of Higher Secondary or equivalent examinations standard. The syllabus of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology subjects will be the level of HSC (GSEB) board. Its Candidates wise if they want to solve previous years question papers or not this will give a rough idea about the type of questions asked in the exam.

 

GUJCET Application Form 2018

GUJCET 2018 Application Form has been released on 23rd March 2018. Candidates can fill application through official portal. Candidates will be informed all details related to it through newspapers and website.

All Candidates is advised to apply online well in time without waiting for the last date for submission of online application. Because after the due dates application will not be excepted. Correctly fill all detail in form incorrect filled form may lead to rejection of the application.

In the application process, upload your scanned images photograph and signature to prescribed specifications.Candidates have to pay application fee of Rs. 300/-. Fee mentioned here is as per the last year record, there may be changes application form fees in this year.

 

  • GUJCET 2018 Application Form has been released on 23rd March 2018.

  • Candidates are strongly advised to apply online well in time without waiting for the last date for submission of online application.
  • Candidates should fill in the online application form correctly. The incorrectly filled form may lead to rejection.

  • Applications not complying with these instructions or with unclear photographs are liable to be rejected.
  • Candidates have to submit the prescribed application fee of  300/-. Fee mentioned here is as per the last year record, there may be changes in the application fee for this year.
