Haryana DET 2018 Seat Allotment (2nd round) for diploma engineering courses is releasing on 9th July 2018. Haryana DET is an abbreviation for Haryana Diploma Entrance Test. The Haryana DET is a state level examination conducted for Polytechnic admissions within the state.

The Haryana DET is conducted by Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES) for years. All the candidates who are interested in Polytechnic admissions in Haryana can appear for admissions since no Polytechnic exam is conducted like Haryana DET.

HSTES organizes the admission procedure to various Polytechnic streams and Technology (Diploma Stream and Engineering courses). This admission procedure is within the state of Haryana. Admission to various diploma courses will be provided on the basis of a merit list, Inter-Se-Merit list, of the qualifying exam.

Through this process, candidates can get admission into various engineering, diploma courses. These courses offered by the various private & government polytechnic colleges in Haryana state.

This gives an opportunity to a candidate to take admission into the various polytechnic course like different colleges and institutions of the Haryana state. And many governments sponsored and self-financed Polytechnic colleges in Haryana state consider the  Haryana DET exam for providing admission.

Haryana Polytechnic (LE) Result

The conducting authority publish the result through online mode. Haryana DET (LE) Result 2018 has been released on 6th June 2018 (After 5:00 PM). The inter-se-merit/rank has been declared on 19th June 2018 (for Diploma Engineering & Diploma Pharmacy). The authority not send a Haryana Polytechnic Rank Card to any candidates by post. Candidates are called for the counselling on the basis of the merit list. The merit list is prepared on the basis of the qualifying examination.

Haryana DET Application Form


Candidate must know about How to fill when to fill, all detail related to filling an application form. Haryana DET application form is available in online mode. The application form is available from the mid-April until the third week of April. After submitting the filled application form, a candidate must keep one printed copies with them for further use.

Some detail is provided to candidate related to an application:

  • Candidates can register for the Haryana DET through online mode from our website.
  • Candidates can fill the application till 17th May 2018 (for lateral entry engineering) &14th June 2018(for diploma engineering & pharmacy).
  • Haryana Polytechnic Application Form 2018 has been issued 25th April 2018 (for lateral entry engineering) & 7th May 2018 (for diploma engineering & pharmacy).
  • Candidates can fill the application till 17th May 2018 (for lateral entry engineering) & 14th June 2018(for diploma engineering & pharmacy).
  • Fill all the necessary details like personal, qualification and many others in the Haryana DET Application Form.
  • Candidates also have to upload the scanned images of photograph and signature.
  • After filling the application form, take the printout of it.
  • Attach all the required documents with the application form.
  • Submit the completed application form to the designated Polytechnic centers along with the required fees.

Candidates can fill the application till 17th May 2018(for lateral entry engineering) & 14th June 2018(for diploma engineering & pharmacy). For filling the application form the candidate has to pay the application fees. The fee is non-refundable. In the options form, the candidate has to fill the name of the Institution & name of the branch in which they want to get admission. After filling forms, the candidate has to keep the printout of the confirmation page.

Haryana DET Admit Card 



Note that the above dates are tentative and candidates must check for the dates on the official website of Haryana DET. 

HP PAT admit card is available online on the official website of the Haryana Diploma Entrance Test (DET). Previously, the admit card was available from the Mid-May 2018.

The link for the admit card was provided on the official website of Haryana DET. The candidates should fill valid login id and password in the text field provided for the login id and password.

The admit card will contain information about the candidate such as the name of the candidate, roll number of the candidate and date of birth etc.

Those students who appear for CBSE board will get the percentile that is cgpa and thus for the merit list, the students have to convert their cgpa or percentile into the percentage form. The percentage will be used to calculate the merit rank of the candidate in the merit list.

It is candidate responsibility to keep get their percentage displayed on the merit list. The merit list has been prepared on the basis of the marks secured by the candidates in the qualifying examination. The merit list has been posted in the official portal for Haryana DET admissions. On the basis of the merit list, the candidate will get admission in their filled choice.

Candidates were not allowed to enter the examination hall without admit card and no admit card was sent to the registered candidates via post.

Application fees can be paid by online mode. A candidate who has filled application through online have to pay Rs. 500/- for the application, but only for the general category candidates. The reserved category students have to pay Rs. 200/-. The reserved category includes Haryana (SC/BC/EBP/PH/FF/ESM/KM/HGST/GIRLS). 

The candidates can submit the application fees through different modes. They can pay by credit card/debit card/net banking and E-challan.

The candidates can submit fees also via offline mode in the different branches of the bank such as the branch of Axis Bank & Punjab National Bank. The application fees are non-refundable.

Haryana DET Eligibility Criteria


Before applies for admission look out eligibility criteria of Haryana DET. Candidate must know full eligibility criteria because sometime candidate fails to know which harm them at the time of taking admission.

Candidate should know basic information about the candidate should be the Indian citizen, a candidate must be passed the 10th examination from English, Physical Science/Science and Mathematics from any recognized board etc more eligibility criteria are provided below in detail.

Before filling the application form, candidates must check the eligibility criteria:

  • Candidates must be the citizen of India.
  • The candidate has to qualify the secondary or equivalent examination.
  • The candidate has to pass the class 10th/SSC examination with Science & Mathematics.
  • They have to secure at least 35% marks (33% in case of SC/ST/KM category) at the qualifying examination.
  • Those candidates who are pursuing in class 10th or equivalent examination may also eligible to apply.
  • There is no upper age limit.

Haryana DET Exam Pattern


The exam pattern for Haryana DET will tell us about the scenario of the examination and this will help the candidate to prepare for the Haryana DET. The details about the pattern are mentioned below:

  • Mode of Exam: Haryana Polytechnic Exam was held in offline mode (pen – paper mode).
  • No of Questions: In the entrance exam, 100 objective type multiple choice questions were asked.
  • Duration: The duration of the exam was 1 hour 40 minutes.
  • Language: The medium of the question paper was English or Hindi both.
  • Marking Scheme: 1 mark was awarded to the candidates for correct answers.
  • Negative Marking: There was no negative marking for the wrong answer.

Haryana DET Result


Haryana DET (LE) Result 2018 will be released on 6th June 2018 (After 5:00 PM).  The result will be declared by the conducting authority that is Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES). The inter-se-merit/rank will be declared on 20th June 2018 (for Diploma Engineering) & 19th June 2018 The candidates whose result satisfy the cutoff condition and perform well in Haryana DET be called for the further counseling process. There was no re-checking or re-evaluation of answers of the entrance exam.

The link for the result will be provided on the official website of the Haryana DET. The candidates can visit that link, check the result and download the result. The result must be preserved by the candidate for the further use and future reference in Haryana DET admission procedure.

Haryana DET Counselling


Haryana DET admission process will be started after the result announced to the candidate.  Haryana DET counseling will be in the last week of May. On the basis of 10+2 marks and Inter-Se-merit list and the score in Haryana DET  admission will be given to the candidate. Merit list will be prepared according to candidates score marks in the 10+2 examination and Haryana DET score. In those bases, the deserving candidate will be given admission.

Candidates who are interested in attaining counseling can download the Merit List from the official portal of conducting authority. Candidates have to submit all required document for registration and verification. If the candidate submits the incorrect document and found in scrutiny candidates admission will be cancelled.

The candidate has to pay Rs. 500 as the counseling fees. The counseling will be in two rounds for all diploma courses. All the rounds of counseling will be conducted in the offline mode and after that, no online counseling will be conducted.

Haryana DET Syllabus


 

The Haryana DET (Polytechnic) syllabus is based on the metric standard of Board of School Education Haryana. All the important subjects in the 10th examination will be included in the Haryana DET. The science and maths are the compulsory subjects.

Though the actual syllabus will consist of topics like English, Aptitude and General Awareness Test, Mathematics, Science.
