Himachal Pradesh NEET Counseling 2024 Online Registration will be started in 3rd week of July 2024. Merit List will be released online mode. The Himachal Pradesh University is conducting the Counselling and Admission procedure.

The Himachal Pradesh University manages the Counselling procedure for the Government of Himachal Pradesh Department of Medical Education and Research.

The admission will be offered through the NEET score for MBBS/BDS courses. Candidates can apply for the state medical, dental government, and private institutions through counselling.

Himachal Pradesh NEET Counseling 2024

The Himachal Pradesh University will invite applications from the candidates who are qualified for the NEET 2024 examination. It is essential that only NEET-UG 2024 qualified candidates can fill out the application form based on which the state merit list will be made. Candidates must register for counselling from the Himachal Pradesh University’s official website.

A category-wise new merit list will be published based on the All India Merit Rank of NEET-UG 2024. Candidates must pay the counselling fee to be eligible for the counselling and the seat allotment procedure. The counselling will be conducted offline mode on the University campus.

Himachal Pradesh NEET Counselling Dates 2024

• Candidates must fill out the application form for counselling 2024 to get admission to MBBS/BDS courses.
• The seats will be allotted based on merit-cum-choice of the candidates.
• The candidate must present in person for counselling on the day of counselling.
• Candidates who successfully fill out and submit the application form will be eligible to participate in the counselling procedure.
• Candidates must report to the counselling centre on the specified date and time.
• The call letter for attending the counselling will not be sent to candidates.
• The final seat allotment will be done after the verification of the documents and choices filled by the candidates.
• Selected candidates will be given the admission letter, which can be downloaded from the university website on the next day of the counselling.
• Candidates must report to the allotted college for admission with the admission letter.
• If the candidate fails to follow any steps or their documents are found incorrect, their admission will be cancelled.

Reservation Criteria

The reservation in the Himachal Pradesh State Medical and dental college will be applicable as per the state and central government rules. Candidates must apply under the reserved category only if they have valid documents.

All state medical and dental colleges have their reservation criteria for each category. Candidates are advised to check the website to which they are seeking admission.
