AIIMS Nursing 2024 Application Form has been available on 7th March 2024. AIIMS Nursing 2024 Exam Dates will be Announced Soon. AIIMS Nursing 2024 will be managed by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. Registration is offered for the B.Sc & M.Sc nursing courses through this examination. It is done every year for registration into its affiliated nursing colleges.
An Act of Parliament in 1956 established the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS, New Delhi) as an autonomous institution of national importance and defined its objectives and functions. The Institute grants its medical degrees and other academic distinctions by this Act.
The degrees granted by the Institute under the All India Institute of Medical Sciences Act are recognized medical qualifications for the Indian Medical Council Act and, notwithstanding anything contained therein, are deemed to be included in the first schedule of that Act, entitling the holders to the same privileges as those attached to the equivalent awards from the recognized Universities of India.

Other AIIMS 2024 Exam
Under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha, Yojana 6 new All India Institutes of Medical Sciences have been established, similar to AIIMS, New Delhi. The government of India had decided that from the Academic Session of August 2013, B.Sc. (Hons) nursing courses will be started in six new AIIMS at Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur, Patna, Raipur, and Rishikesh. The proposal is for an intake of 60 students for each institution for a B.Sc. (Hons) Nursing Course.
After deliberation, the Ministry believed that admission selection should be made through the same entrance examination through which candidates are selected for AIIMS New Delhi.

Visit the official Website:
- Go to the official Website of AIIMS (link will be given above).
- Click on the “Online Registration of AIIMS Nursing” link.
- The Registration page will open.
Register Online:
- Log on to the Website for ‘Online Registration’.
- Complete all the personal, communication, qualification, and other required details.
- After that, submit the registration details.
Fee Payment:
- Candidates must fill in all the required details to submit the application fee.
- Select the fee payment mode.
- Pay the application fee online by debit/credit card or net banking.

Guidelines for Scanning Photograph, Signature, and Left Thumb Impression
Photographs obtained through the following modes are acceptable:
- Through digital camera/webcam.
- By scanning a physical photograph
Guidelines for Scanning Photograph Images
- The photograph must be a passport-size colour photograph without borders and clearly show the face.
- The photograph must be recently clicked or should not be over six months old. The dimension of the photograph must be 3.5*4.5 cm (width*height).
- The photograph must be clicked in colour with a white background only.
- Draw a box of 3.5*4.5 cm (width*height) on the A4 white paper sheet and paste the photo into the box.
- Scan the box with a photograph pasted, not the whole paper sheet. Save the image as a .jpg/.jpeg/.gif/.png image.e
- The size of the image should be between 50-100 kb. The image size can be checked by right-clicking on the image and then going to the “Properties” link.
- If the image size is more than 100 kb, adjust the scanner settings, such as setting the dpi to 200 dpi, and the image quality is low. If the image size is still more than 100 kb, then resize the image to the given specifications.
Check for the following before uploading the photograph File:
- The photograph should be coloured with a white background.
- The size of the image should be between 50-100 kb
- The scanner dpi should be 200 dpi.
- The image should be in .jpg/.jpeg/.gif/.png format.
Guidelines for Scanning Signature
1. Draw a box of 6*3 cm (width*height) on a white paper sheet.
2. Take a thick-tipped black/blue ink pen (preferably a fountain pen).
3. The applicant has to put their signature in full in the box drawn.
4. The following king of signatures are NOT acceptable:
- The signature containing Initials only
- Signature in CAPITAL LETTERS
- Signature with overwriting
5. The applicant must sign the signature, not any other person. The signature should be done in the centre of the box.
6. Scan the box with the signature only, not the whole sheet. Save the signature as the .jpg/.jpeg/.gif/.png image.
7. The image size should be between 10-50 kb. The image size can be checked by right-clicking on the image and then going to the “Properties” link.
8. If the image size is more than 50 kb, adjust the scanner settings, such as setting the scanner’s dpi to 200 dpi, and the image quality is low. If the image size is still more than 50k,b, then resize the image to the given specifications.
Check for the following before uploading the Signature File:
- The signature should be clear and without overwriting on a white paper sheet within a box of 6*3cms (width*height).
- The image size should be between 10-50 kb scanner dpi should be 200 dpi.
- The image should be in .jpg/.jpeg/.gif/.png format.
Guidelines for Scanning Left Thumb Impression
- 1. Draw a box of 4*3 cm (width*height) on a white paper sheet.
- 2. Put your left thumb on a blue/black ink pad. The ink should have covered your entire thumb.
- 3. Put your left thumbprint in the box drawn on the paper sheet. Do not press your thumb too hard.
- 4. The thumbprint should be clear such that the naked eye can see the lines of the thumbs.
- 5. Scan the box with the thumbprint only, not the whole sheet. Save the thump print as.jpg/.jpeg/.gif/.png image.
- 6. The image size should be between 10-50 kb. The image size can be checked by right-clicking on the image and then going to the “Properties” link.
- 7. If the image size is more than 50 kb, adjust the scanner settings, such as setting the scanner’s dpi to 200 dpi, and the image quality is low. If the image size is still more than 50k,b, then resize the image to the given specifications.
Check for the following before uploading the Left Thumb Impression File:
- Thumb Print should be in blue/black ink, clear, complete, and put on a white paper sheet within a box of 4*3 cms (width*height).
- The image size should be between 10-50 kb scanner dpi should be 200 dpi.
- The image should be in .jpg/.jpeg/.gif/.png format.
Guidelines for Checking the parameter of a Scanned Image Checking the parameters of an image:
- Right, click on the image to be uploaded, and go to the link “Properties”.
- A window opens up having all the information about the image. See given below Fig.1
