Chandrakala a 35-year-old is an IAS officer of  UPSC 2008 batch of UP cadre Date Of Birth 27/09/1979. She originally belongs from Andhra Pradesh. According to DoPT records, her mother tongue is Lambadi. Most of the Banjara or Lambadi people of India live in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. About 2.2 million people like Chandrakala speak their own dialect along with Telugu.Chandrakala has done her post graduation in economics. Till her recent transfer, she was the DM of Mathura, from there she was transferred out without assigning any reason. It might be due to her heroic action which she took against the Contractors of Bulandshaher.

B. Chandrakala has been seen shouting at officials and contractors for inferior workmanship in Uttar Pradesh in the video, which was not only seen but also liked by Lakhs of Indians. In Uttar Pradesh, she was at the post of DM in Bulandshaher district. When she echoed the a voice of millions of Indians who often used to make a complaint about the potholes in newly laid out roads.
