IBSAT 2018: Registration, Exam Dates, Eligibility, Pattern, Admission
IBSAT Stands for Business School Aptitude Test it is a university level management examination organized by ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education. Candidate wants admission in MBA/ PGPM/ Ph.D. programs, they have to appear for IBSAT exam.
This examination is conducted for selecting appropriate students for admission in MBA and PGPM programs offered by various campuses of ICFAI University. ICFAI University has campuses at Dehradun, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Gurgaon, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune and Kolkata which except the score of IBSAT exam.
Candidate appearing IBSAT exams will be given 2 hours to complete paper and it will be the computer-based test. The exam paper will contain Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) that test the candidates on their quantitative ability, vocabulary, reading comprehension skills etc.

Candidate must know the selection process for IBSAT exams. The deserving candidate who scores good marks in exams will get admission. Candidate interested can download the letter of counseling from the official website. The ICFAI University offers access to management courses through the scorecard of IBSAT or CAT/NMAT/GMAT. Candidates, those qualified the examination are shortlisted for the selection process. The selection procedure has been started from the 20th February to 26th February 2018.
The candidate has to appear 3 round; selected candidate will be given admission. Candidate appearing counseling process has to bring all required documentation for verification and registration. The candidate has to submit original material if the candidate gives incorrect documents and if it found in scrutiny candidate admission will be canceled.

Application Form
For the next session, its entrance exam 2018-19 is going to be conducted soon. Application Process Starts from 1st July 2018 and Application Process will be Ends 12th December 2018. Desired applicants can participate in this test after submitting their IBSAT Application Form before the last date.
Before the due date fill the application if any candidate submits their application after the due date application will not be accepted. The application form will be available through the online, official portal. Fill all detail according to the given format. Below is given detail of Application form:
- Candidates can get the IBS application form through online or offline mode.
- The online application form will be available from the website.
- The offline application form will be issued from the marketing offices of the IBS.
- Candidates can get the application from 1st July to 12th December 2018.
- Candidates should fill the application form carefully. No correction will be allowed after the form submission.
- Take a print copy of filled application form future use.
Application Fee:
The IBSAT Registration fee is Rs. 1800/- which can be paid at the time of purchasing the application form through the IBS centers (offline mode). Candidates can also pay the registration fee at the time of filling the application form through the payment gateway using a Creditcard net banking.

IBSAT Eligibility Criteria
There are certain eligibility conditions that the candidates must fulfill to appear for IBSAT. The candidates who fail to meet the eligibility criteria will be face difficulty at the time of admission process.
Candidate should know basic detail of IBSAT exams like for submitting TOEFL/ NELT/ IELTS score candidate should have studied from English medium and candidate should have completed graduation at minimum 50% marks. For more detail check out given below eligibility criteria of IBSAT exam.
- For MBA and PGPM programmes, the candidates must have completed graduation with minimum 50% marks.
- The students who are in the final year of their graduation are also eligible to apply.
- The candidates must have completed a minimum of 15 years of education (on 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 basis).
- The candidates must have studied in English medium. It is mandatory for the candidates who have not studied in the English medium to submit the TOEFL/ NELT/ IELTS score.

IBSAT Admit Card
Hall ticket /Admit card is a mandatory document if candidate fail to bring admit card at the time of exams candidate will not be allowed to write exams. It is candidate responsibility to keep their hall ticket safe till the completion of exams.
Candidate successfully submit their document for registration can only download their admit card from official site. Hall ticket contains candidate related information like candidates roll number, date of birth, name address, centre etc. Candidates are suggested to keep printed copies of hall ticket for further use.
- Only those candidates will be able to get the admit card who have successfully submitted their online application form.
- IBSAT Admit Cardwill be provided to students through online mode.
- Candidates can download the IBSAT hall ticket by entering their User ID and Password.
- The admit card will contain details like Name of the candidate, Test date, User ID / Registration Number, PWD status, etc.
- It is mandatory to bring the admit card at the examination centre on the day of the examination.

IBSAT Result
Candidates can check their result through online, official portal of authority. Candidate can check out their IBSAT Result from1st or 2nd week of January.T he candidate is suggested to keep printed copies of result for further use and admission process.
The candidate has to enter their application number and date of birth in official portal if candidate type wrong detail in the site the page will show error. For correct page type correct detail in it.
Candidate can save the result in phone/Laptop or can take the screenshot of result for further use. Personally, result will be not sent to any candidate or by via post.
- Candidates can view their score through the login window on the official website.
- Candidates can check the IBSAT Result in the second week of January 2019.
- The authority may also intimate about the result to candidates individually.

IBSAT Cutoff 2018
Alternatively, GMAT scores are also accepted by IBS. The applicants short-listed on the basis of their performance in the IBSAT Entrance test are called for the interviews.
The IBSAT scores will be made available to the participating institutions namely ICFAI Business School, ICFAI National College, ICFAI School of Financial Studies, ICFAI School of Marketing Studies and ICFAI School of Human Resource Development.
Cut- off marks will help candidate to score above cut- of marks for admission. Different college have different cut off marks. College change cut-off marks according to candidate appearing UPCPMT marking scheme, the number of seats and difficulty level of the entrance exams. Scoring above cut-off marks is not only important, candidate past academic record, work experience is also matters in providing admission.
