IISC 2019 Application Form 2019

Applying for PG courses application has been available on 1st February 2019 and Closing date of application Form 25th April 2019.

For UG courses application will be made available from 1st February 2019 and the Last date to submit the application 30th April 2019.

  • The IISC 2019 application form will be available on the online official portal of IISc 2019.
  • After filling application form upload the scanned images of photograph, candidate’s signature, parent/guardian’s signature and caste certificate (if required).
  • IISc 2019 Application form for UG & PG Course has been Available on 1st February 2019.
  • Candidates can be filled till 25th March 2019 for PG Courses.
  • Candidates can be filled till 30th April 2019 for UG Courses.
  • Do registration by Email ID and create a new user account to start the online application process.
  • Fill all the details in the application carefully as per the instructions are given in brochure.
  • Candidates should take a printout of the application form further needs.

Application Fee:

After filling full details in online application take print copies of application form. Candidates can pay application form fees on online mode.

Through the debit/credit card, visa card, master card or net banking application fees payment can be done. Once payment is done it will not be refunded or transferred back to candidates.

  • Candidates can pay the application fee by debit/credit card, visa card, master card or net banking.
  • The application fee will be non-refundable.

IISc 2019 Eligibility Criteria

IISc Eligibility criteria are given for under graduated, M.Tech & M.Mgt courses.

Take a look briefly so candidates may not face difficulties at a time of registration.

Different courses have different criteria to look at it once.  Below, students can check the eligibility criteria of various UG and PG courses offered by IISc 2019:

Eligibility for UG Courses:

  • Candidates must have qualified II PUC/12thor equivalent exam in the year 2019.
  • Students appearing in the 12thor equivalent in the year 2019 are also eligible to apply.
  • In the qualifying exam, candidates must have physics, chemistry and mathematics/biology as compulsory subjects.
  • Students should have obtained 60% or equivalent grade (relaxed to pass class for SC/ST candidates) in the qualifying exam.
  • Candidates should have passed the KVPY, JEE Main, JEE Advance or NEET examination.

Eligibility for M.Tech Courses:

  • Candidates must hold a bachelor degree in the relevant field of engineering/technology.
  • Master’s degree in Science, Physical Sciences, Instrumentation, Mathematics, Statistics, Geology, Electronics or MCA candidates are also eligible to apply.
  • Candidates should have a GATE 2017/2018/2019 scorecard.

Eligibility for M.Mgt Course:

  • Students should have a bachelor degree in engineering/technology or equivalent degree.
  • Candidates must have a valid GATE 2017/2018/2019, CAT 2019 or GMAT scores.

IISC 2019 Exam Pattern

All candidates should know Exam pattern so they can prepare for exam according to it.

IISC 2019 Exam will be Held on 15th to 18th April 2019 (for M.tech/M.Des Programme (Regular). In exam pattern all details are provided such as the language of paper, a number of question asked, paper mode, Marking Scheme and Negative Marking etc.

Admission will be granted to those who are qualified, scores good marks in the entrance exam and On the basis of released cut off, candidates will get eligible for admission.

  • A separate merit list will be prepared according to candidates score marks.
  • For undergraduate Selection will be based on the merit list of the exam such as KVPY, JEE Main, JEE Advanced and NEET UG.
  • And in postgraduate course admission in M.Tech courses will be based on GATE scores.

Here we are providing the selection/admission procedure of various courses in IISc 2019:

UG courses:

Candidates must have to obtain marks in the examination as per the cut off released by IISc. Reservation for reserved categories will be considered as per the Government of India regulations.

Candidates have to qualify the following examination for admission in UG courses:

  • KVPY: KVPY-SA students appeared in 2018 & selected for the Fellowship, KVPY (SB & SX) aspirants appeared in 2019, and selected for the Fellowship and KVPY students shortlisted through the Empowerment Initiative for SC/ST students.
  • JEE Main & JEE Advanced: Students appearing in 2019 & must have obtained minimum 60% (GN), 54% (OBC-NCL), 30% (SC/ST/PH).
  • NEET:Candidates appearing in 2019 & secured minimum 60% (GN), 54% (OBC-NCL), 30% (SC/ST/PH).

PG Courses:

For admission in M.Des, students will be shortlisted on the basis of GATE or CEED scores followed by a Design Aptitude Test and interview process.

  • Tech: Admission to the M.Tech programme will be done on the basis of GATE 2017/2018/2019 scores. In case of candidates have equal GATE score their performance in the qualifying exam will be judged for tie-breaking.
  • Des: Admission to M.Des courses will be made on the basis of GATE 2017/2018/2019 or CEED 2019 score and a design aptitude test and interview. The design & aptitude test will be conducted at the institution. Final selection will be made on the basis of above-mentioned admission rounds.
