IISC Full Form, What is Full Form of IISC ?

IISc AdmissionThe full form of IISC is Indian Institute of Science (IISC), it was established in 1909 by the government of India. IISc was positioned eighteenth on the planet and sixth in Asia while considering the criteria “References per Faculty” in 2015.

IISC is positioned 147 universally in World Rankings of top colleges in 2015. IISC has additionally been positioned sixth in the criteria of examination by the Times Higher Education Rankings for the BRICS and Emerging Economies Rankings 2016. IISc has been positioned number 4 in 2015 rankings while considering the criteria of Papers per Faculty.

The IISc grounds are situated in the north of Bengalooru, around 4 kilometers from Bangalore City Railway Station and Kempegowda. IISC includes various academic courses like UG, PG, Research, Ph.D. Other examinations are done on the basis of national level entrance exams scores like the JEE exam, NEET, KVPY, JAM, CEED, GATE, etc.

This institute provides admission to the candidates on the basis of KVPY, JEE Main, JEE Advanced and AIPMT. These are the national level examination. The Institute of IISC offers programs on the basis of course work by the applicants such as  Master of Technology (M.Tech) for the Sponsored candidates from Defence, DRDO, BARC, ISRO, NAL, KSRTC, BMTC, BDA, PWD, and CPRI.

IISC Institute offers admission into Bangalore institutes about 50 students every year under the sponsored category for its various program courses.
