Handling Letter Grades:

  • If a board awards only letter grades without providing an equivalent percentage, candidates must obtain a certificate from the board specifying the equivalent marks and submit it before the mark-sheet submission deadline.
  • If the board does not provide such a certificate, the percentage marks will be assessed based on a specified method.

The formula to calculate percentage marks is:

where:

  • CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) or CPI (Cumulative Performance Index) is the obtained grade average.
  • PS (Point Scale) is the maximum value of the point scale used by the respective board.

The percentage marks can be calculated using the formula: percentage marks = (CGPA or CPI obtained × 100) / PS, where PS represents the maximum value of the point scale utilized by the respective board.
