IPhO (International Physics Olympiad) 2023: Application Form (Out Soon), Dates, Eligibility, Pattern

IPhO 2023 Application Form will be Releasing Soon. Every year an annual physics competition is conducted by the conducting authorities in various countries for the secondary school students with an aim to increase the growth of international relations in the field of school education in physics and an acknowledgment of the increasing importance of physics in all the fields of science and technology.

However, for the preparation, the students were kept separate from their leaders for the duration of the Olympiad. The authorities used to prepare two separate programs for the applicants. However, the structure of the program is decided on the basis of the international standards for 51st IPhO ((International Physics Olympiad) 2023.

The Portuguese Physical Society is the conducting authority to organize the IPhO (International Physics Olympiad) 2023 every year in different places. However, the Portuguese Physical Society will organize the IPhO (International Physics Olympiad) 2023 on behalf of the Portuguese Ministry of Education. The Government of Portugal and the public and private partners fund the IPhO (International Physics Olympiad) 2023.

IPHO 2023 Selection Process

The dates for the IPHO (International Physics Olympiad) 2023 exams are still not announced but all the information related to the application process is already mentioned in this section.

The applicants will have to clear the 1st four levels in order to reach the 5th level which is the IPHO (International Physics Olympiad) 2023. Please find the information below:

• Level I: NSEP: National Standard Examination in Physics 
• Level II: INPO: Indian National Physics Olympiad 
• Level III: OCSC: Orientation cum Selection Camp in physics
• Level IV: PDT: Pre-departure Training Camp for IPhO
• Level V: IPhO: International Physics Olympiad 

The Indian Association of Physics Teachers will be responsible to conduct the NSEP (National Standard Examination in Physics) and all the stages after this will be organized by the HBCSE 

Important Note: An invitation letter will be sent in an email to the country leaders with the information to fill the Pre-registration form.

The applicants should know that the participation fee for the IPHO (International Physics Olympiad) 2023 will include everything such as food, accommodation, day trips, and IPhO transports as well.

IPHO 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the IPHO (International Physics Olympiad) 2023 are different for each country as it is an international level exam.

Board: Any applicants studying in CBSE, State Board, and ICSE or similar to these will be eligible to apply for the IPHO (International Physics Olympiad) 2023.
Grade: The applicants studying in grades 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th will be eligible to apply for the IPHO (International Physics Olympiad) 2023.

Important Note: It is very important for the applicant to clear the 1st four rounds in order to appear the IPHO (International Physics Olympiad) 2023

IPHO 2023 Eligibility Rules

The applicants need to check the below points to know about the rules for the IPHO (International Physics Olympiad) 2023.

• The applicants will have to clear the Physics Preliminary Olympiad qualifier. 
• If the applicant has cleared the Physics Preliminary Olympiad qualifier and shortlisted for the final qualifier they have to clear this stage as well.
• The applicant must not be more than 20 years of age.
• The applicant must not be studying in a university but should be from a school.

Important Note: The applicants will be shortlisted by the International Olympiad foundation for IPHO (International Physics Olympiad) 2023.

IPHO 2023 Exam Pattern

As the IPHO (International Physics Olympiad) 2023 is an international level exam the applicants will also have to be prepared in the same way for it.

• Parts: The IPHO (International Physics Olympiad) 2023 exam will be divided into two parts as mentioned below.
  • Theoretical Tasks
  • Experimental Tasks
• Exam Language: The IPHO (International Physics Olympiad) 2023 exam will be conducted only in the English language.

Important Note: The IPHO (International Physics Olympiad) 2023 exam can be conducted in a different language as well if there are more than 300 applicants for it.
