JEST 2019 TCS Post Graduate Shortlisted has been Released for Candidates Interview. JEST which is addressed as Joint Entrance Screening Test that functions as a preliminary screening test for admission to M.Sc, Ph.D., Integrated / M.Sc / M.Tech., Neuroscience or Computational Biology, Ph.D. programs in the participating institutes.
JEST 2019 Result has been Declared on 11th March 2019 for Physics & TCS. The test is conducted by the Science & Engineering Research Board. Among these institutes, Ph.D. is offered in only The Institute of Mathematical Sciences, Chennai. Candidates are advised to get familiar with the JEST events by reading this article.
You can appear for the JEST entrance examination in Physics or Theoretical Computer Sciences, but not both. In JEST you may expect questions of both types- objective and subjective.

The Admit Card JEST 2019 has been Available 22nd January 2019
- You may proceed to download the hall ticket after Registration
- The admit cards will not be sent through Post/ Email medium
- Bring the hall ticket and one of you Photo Id to the examination center
JEST 2019 Registration Process
The Application Form has been Started Form 10th November 2018. You will be required to apply in Online mode. No other mode for submission will be entertained.
- Make sure that you have a Valid email id and active mobile number.
- JEST 2019 Application Form has been started Form 10th November 2018.
- JEST 2019 Registration has been (Extended) can be Done till 24th December 2018.
- The application form will be completed in several stages including filling personal details, educational details, communication address, uploading requisite documents.
- The form will be completed once you submit the prescribed amount of fees.
- After submitting the form, candidates will receive an intimation email from JEST website regarding the acceptance of form.
JEST 2019 Application Fees
- Rs 300 (Rs 150 for SC/ST Female Applicants Only)
- Application Fee is waived for FEMALE applicants belonging to SC/ST. They need not pay the application fee.
- The amount would be accepted via online medium using debit card/Credit card/Net-banking Any other mode of payment will not be accepted.
- Please go through the refund policy before paying the application fee.
- Payment of the fee will imply your agreement to the stated refund policies.

JEST 2019 Exam Pattern
- Mode– The screening exam for Ph.D. and Integrated Ph.D. programme in Physics and Theoretical Computer Science will be an OMR based test.
- Duration- the paper will be of 3 hours
- The number of questions– Physics question paper will have two parts.
- Part-A- will have 25 questions and Part B will also have 25 questions. Question paper for Theoretical Computer Science will have a total of seven subjective questions.
