JEXPO SyllabusJEXPO 2020 WB Polytechnic Special Online Counseling has been started on 1st – 5th December 2020. The Result/ Merit List has been released on 23rd September 2020. The Mark Submission of Qualifying Examination has been Started from 12th – 20th September 2020. For admission to first-year polytechnic courses, the aspirants will take part in the JEXPO (West Bengal Polytechnic Entrance Exam) conducted on the instruction of the West Bengal State Council of Technical Education. JEXPO 2020 Application Form

To access the OMR Application form, aspirants should go to the official page but before doing so, get the application booklet which makes you familiar with the instructions applicable in the application procedures.

  • The JEXPO 2020 Application form has been released on 2nd January 2020 Online & Offline.
  • Candidates must fill the form carefully and submit it by the 1st of September 2020.
  • Candidates can be Submitted Applications through OMR till 16th March 2020.
  • At the end of 31st August, the application process will get over, so you are requested to get it completed before approaching the last date.
  • The application form will have to be downloaded by an online medium with the details marked in.
  • Various details are to be filled in the form namely the aspirant’s name, date of birth, category, gender, study qualification, and many other things.
  • Now attach the scanned image of passport size photo and signature to the form along with necessary documents.

Application Fees

After feeding all required data in the form, you need to pay the fee which is given as follows-

  • For OMR Application Form: Rs. 500/-
  • (for valid Kanyashree enrollees Rs. 250/-)
  • For Online Application Form: Rs. 450/-
  • (for valid Kanyashree enrollees Rs. 225/-)

JEXPO West Bengal Polytechnic 2021

The West Bengal State Council of Technical Education is the conducting authority of JEXPO 2021 West Bengal Polytechnic Examination and this entrance examination is conducted to offer admission to the candidates in various diploma courses in engineering/technology/architecture. At various polytechnic colleges/institutions located in West Bengal admission will provide to the candidates. The JEXPO West Bengal Polytechnic Examination 2021 Application Form will be available from the last week of January and it will be available till the 4th week of April 2021.

JEXPO 2020 Eligibility Criteria

For JEXPO 2020

The aspirants may opt for JEXPO 2020 only when they have passed their 10th with a minimum of 35% marks in total.

  • Age Criteria: No upper age limit, but the candidate’s date of birth should not be after 1st July 2005 for this year.
  • Nationality: Applying candidate must be a citizen of India.
  • Qualifying Exam: Candidate must have passed his/her 10th level (Madhyamik) exams or its equivalent from a Recognized Board or University. Board/Council/Institute with at least 35% marks (without an additional subject) at the qualifying examination (without rounding-up).
  • Qualifying Subjects: Applying candidate must have passed his/her 10th level exams with MathematicsEnglish, and Science/Physical Science subjects.
  • Qualifying Marks: He/she must have passed his 10th level exams with a minimum of 35% marks.
  • Appearing: Candidates appearing in the 10th level exams are also eligible.

For VOCLET 2020

The aspirants who have cleared their 10+2 with WBSCT and VE and SD or finished two years in their ITI after Madhyamik will be considered for the exam.


The exam will be divided into two papers.

  • First of all, includes Mathematics and the second one includes physics and chemistry.
  • There will only be objective questions.
  • The two papers will have 100 questions.
  • There will be OMR Answer Sheet.
  • The Exam Duration should be 2 Hours (120 Minutes).
  • The Examination Time Held between (10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon).

JEXPO 2020 Exam Pattern

The West Bengal State Council of Technical Education is responsible for organizing the written exam.

The exam pattern details are given here:

  • Papers: The examination will be held in two papers, i.e., Mathematics and Physics & Chemistry.
  • Mode: The examination will be organized through offline mode.
  • Duration: The exam duration will be two hours for each paper.
  • Number of Questions: In the examination, a total of 100 Multiple Choice type questions will be asked.
  • Total Marks: The examination will be of 100 marks.
  • Marking Scheme: For the correct answer, one mark will be given to the candidates.

JEXPO 2020 Syllabus 

The students must know the topics covering the syllabus. The website will come up with the syllabus for all students who are yet to attend the exam.

The students may check the Syllabus for the West Bengal exam. The pattern of the syllabus will be based on the 10th standard. The syllabus will incorporate the three sections- Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics.

JEXPO 2020 Admit Card

The aspirants may access the e-admit card by visiting the website of WBSCTE named Now load the Admit Card by entering the registration no and password as only after providing the details as mentioned above, you will be able to get it downloaded from the website. After that get the hard copy of the admit card and keep it safe all through the exam.

Admit Card will contain the exam-related instructions such as exam timing and date, venue, and center. It has to be carried on the day of the exam as it serves as your identity in the presence of an exam. Those who have filled the application form and submitted the required fee will be capable of downloading it.

It is suggested to bring the two photocopies of photographs. Out of two, one is to be pasted on the card, and the latter is shown to the examiner.

The admit card can be downloaded by the candidates by entering their login credentials like application number and password. Candidates must carry they are admitted card along with them on the exam day. Also, candidates have to carry their valid id proof with the admit card for the identity verification process.

JEXPO 2020 Result

JEXPO 2020 Result/ Merit List has been released on 23rd September 2020 Aspirants will have to view the Result from the website using online. The Result or scorecard will be available for downloading after providing roll no and password. You must keep the printed copy of the result for counseling. The students will have to bear the Xerox of the result when the next time is appearing for counseling.

The result is the outcome of the exam which decides the eligibility of students for the particular course. Along with the result, the merit list will be produced for the selected students who have achieved a high rank on the merit list.

No rank card will be provided to the selected candidates individually. Candidates selected in the merit list will be able to participate in the counseling process. Candidates who have not attended the exam or have obtained ‘zero’ marks in any of the papers will not be shortlisted in the merit list.

JEXPO 2020 Counselling

The selected students will appear in the counseling post the result.

The Counseling process has been started on 1st October 2020. In order of participating in the counseling, they will need the first register at the website and mention the name of the particular course and college you may be opting for. At the selection of courses, the rank of the student is considered.

Those who have been selected on the merit list will be able to take part in the counseling.

Those who are not present at the time of admission will be barred from the further admission procedure. They need to have a soft copy of the required documents at the exact time and date of counseling.

The aspirants can provide their preferred choices regarding courses and college by the process online. The students must attend the counseling carrying the documents for their verification.
