JEXPO 2020 Application Form

To access the OMR Application form, aspirants should go to the official page but before doing so, get the application booklet which makes you familiar with the instructions applicable in the application procedures.

  • The JEXPO 2020 Application form will be released in the last week of January 2020.
  • Candidates must fill the form carefully and submit it till the 3rd week of March 2020.
  • At the end of March, the application process will get over, so you are requested to get it completed before approaching the last date.
  • The application form will have to be downloaded by an online medium with the details marked in.
  • There are various details which are to be filled in the form namely aspirant’s name, date of birth, category, gender, study qualification, and many things.
  • Now attach the scanned image of passport size photo and signature to the form along with necessary documents.

Application Fees

After feeding all required data in the form, you need to pay the fee which is given as follows-

  • The online application form fee is RS.450
  • The application fee will be RS.225 for Kanyashree candidates
  • The application fee is RS.500 for OMR.

JEXPO 2020 Eligibility Criteria

For JEXPO 2020

The aspirants may opt for JEXPO 2020 only when they have passed their 10thwith minimum 35% marks in total.

For VOLCET 2020

The aspirants who have cleared their 10+2 with WBSCT and VE and SD or finished two years in their ITI after Madhyamik will be considered for the exam.

  • Nationality: Applying candidate must be a citizen of India.
  • Qualifying Exam: Candidate must have passed his/her 10th level (Madhyamik) exams or its equivalent from a Recognized Board or University.
  • Qualifying Subjects: Applying candidate must have passed his/her 10th level exams with MathematicsEnglish, and Science/Physical Science subjects.
  • Qualifying Marks: He/she must have passed his 10th level exams with a minimum of 35% marks.
  • Appearing: Candidates appearing in the 10th level exams are also eligible.
  • Age Criteria: Applying candidate must not be born after July 1, 2005. There is no upper age limit prescribed to apply.

Citizenship:

  • Candidates must be an Indian citizen.

Age Criteria:

  • Lower Age Limit: Candidates should not be born on 1 July 2004.
  • Upper Age Limit: There is no upper age limit to apply.

 Qualification Criteria:

  • Qualifying Exam: Passed Secondary (Madhyamik) or its equivalent examination from the recognized board.
  • Subjects: Qualify the above exam with English, Physical Science/Science and Mathematics subjects.
  • Minimum Marks: Passed the qualifying examination with minimum 35% marks (no rounding up) in aggregate.
  • Appearing Candidates are also eligible.

For JEXPO

The exam will be divided into two papers.

  • First of which includes Mathematics and the second one includes physics and chemistry.
  • There will only be objective questions.
  • The two papers will have 100 questions.
  • There will be OMR Answer Sheet.

For VOLCET

The question, the paper will be distributed into two papers.

  • The first one includes Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and the second one will have Mathematics and Computer.
  • There will only be objective questions in the exam.
  • The paper will consist of 100 questions.
  • There will be questions in the OMR sheet.

JEXPO 2020 Exam Pattern

The West Bengal State Council of Technical Education is responsible for organizing the written exam.

The exam pattern details are given here:

  • Papers: The examination will be held in two papers, i.e., Mathematics (Paper 1) and Physics & Chemistry (Paper 2).
  • Mode: The examination will be organized through offline mode.
  • Duration: The exam duration will be two hours for each paper.
  • Number of Questions: In the examination, a total of 200 multiple choice type questions will be asked.
  • Total Marks: The examination will be of 200 marks.
  • Marking Scheme: For the correct answer, one mark will be given to the candidates.

JEXPO 2020 Syllabus 

It is necessary for the students to know the topics covering the syllabus. The website will come up with the syllabus for all students who are yet to attend the exam.

The students may check the Syllabus for West Bengal exam. The pattern of the syllabus will be based on the 10th standard. The syllabus will incorporate the three sections- Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics.

JEXPO 2020 Admit Card

The aspirants may access the e-admit card by visiting the website of WBSCTE named as http://www.webscte.org

  • Now load the Admit Card by entering the registration no and password as only after providing the details as mentioned above, you will be able to get it downloaded from the website.
  • After that get the hard copy of admit card and keep it safe all through the exam.
  • Admit Card will contain the exam-related instructions such as exam timing and date, venue and center.
  • It has to be carried on the day of the exam as it serves as your identity in the presence of an exam.
  • Those who have filled the application form and submitted the required fee will be capable of downloading it.
  • It is suggested to bring the two photocopies of photographs. Out of two, one is to be pasted on the card and the latter is shown to the examiner.

The admit card can be downloaded by the candidates by entering their login credentials like application number and password. Candidates must carry they are admitted card along with them on the exam day. Also, candidates have to carry their valid id proof with the admit card for the identity verification process.

JEXPO 2020 Result

Aspirants will have to view the Result from the website using online.

  • The Result or scorecard will be available for downloading after providing roll no and password. You must keep the printed copy of result for counseling.
  • The students will have to bear the Xerox of the result when the next time is appearing for counseling.
  • The result is the outcome of the exam which decides the eligibility of students for the particular course.
  • Along with the result, the merit list will be produced for the selected students who have achieved a high rank on the merit list.

No rank card will be provided to the selected candidates individually. Candidates selected in the merit list will be able to participate in the counseling process. Candidates who have not attended the exam or have obtained ‘zero’ marks in any of the paper will not be shortlisted in the merit list.

JEXPO 2020 Counselling

The selected students will appear in the counseling post the result.

  • The Counseling process will be started 1st week of June 2020.
  • In order of participating in the counseling, they will need the first register at the website and mention the name of the particular course and college you may be opting for. At the selection of courses, the rank of the student is considered.
  • Those have been selected in the merit list will be able to take part in the counseling.
  • Those who are not present at the time of admission will be barred from the further admission procedure.
  • They need to have the soft copy of the required documents at the exact time and date of counseling.
  • The aspirants can provide their preferred choices regarding courses and college by the process of online.
  • The students must attend the counseling carrying the documents for their verification.
