JOSSA 2022 Opening & Closing Rank will be Released now. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) is the counselling authority, which is managed to offer admission to the candidates in the various institutions. There are various participating institutes of JoSAA in which the candidates can get admission as on their scored rank and those will be eligible can apply to the JoSAA for admission.
As per the performance of the candidates in the JEE examination, the JoSAA will provide counselling procedures to complete their various engineering and management programs from various institutions. Candidates should be qualified in the examination of JEE and 12th exam with goof qualifying marks from the recognized university.

JoSAA Rank List 2022
The JoSAA Rank list will prepare to select the candidates for counselling procedure and seat allocation in the various categories and on the basis of ranking, admission will provide to the candidates.
The rank list will be separate for all categories to get admission into NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs.
There are a total of eight types of JoSAA rank lists are prepared and those candidates who are shortlisted in these rank lists, they can attend the counselling procedure.
Those candidates have scored at least 2.5% marks in each of the three subjects and at least 8.75% aggregate marks in JEE Advanced; they will not be included in the other rank list.
The following rank lists will be used for admission into the preparatory courses offered by IITs.

| Common Rank List (CRL) | It includes candidates, who are assigned the tag GEN, GEN-PwD, OBC-NCL, OBC-NCL-PwD, SC, SC-PwD, ST, or ST-PwD. Foreign nationals are also included in the CRL. |
| OBC-NCL Rank List | It includes candidates, who are assigned the tag OBC-NCL or OBC-NCL-PwD. |
| SC Rank List | It includes candidates, who are assigned the tag SC or SC-PwD. |
| ST Rank List | It includes candidates, who are assigned the tag ST or ST-PwD. |
| CRL-PwD Rank List | It includes candidates, who are assigned the tag GEN-PwD, OBC-NCL-PwD, SC-PwD, or ST-PwD. |
| OBC-NCL-PwD Rank List | It includes candidates, who are assigned the tag OBC-NCL-PwD. |
| SC-PwD Rank List | It includes candidates, who are assigned the tag SC-PwD. |
| ST-PwD Rank List | It includes candidates, who are assigned the tag ST-PwD. |
JoSAA Rank List for admission to IITs
The JoSAA Rank list will prepare for candidates through the JAB based on the result of candidates, so they have to score qualifying marks in the examination of JEE Advanced for inclusion in the rank list. Below the aggregate marks, the rank list will be given for candidates.
