For Full Time MBA courses applicant who has passed Recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum of 3 years duration examination or equivalent examination and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks taken together in all the subjects including languages in all the years of the Degree Examination is eligible for admission to MBA courses. (45% of marks in Q. E. in case of SC, ST, and Category-I of Karnataka applicant)

For Part-Time MBA courses

An applicant who has passed recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum of 3 years duration examination or equivalent examination and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks taken together in all the subjects including languages in all the years of the Degree Examination is eligible for admission to MBA courses (45% of marks in Q. E. in case of SC, ST and Category-I of Karnataka candidates). (Reservation is applicable only for Karnataka Candidates).

In addition to this a candidate after obtaining the degree must have worked for not less than three years, in an establishment and must be working in an organization situated within a radial distance of 40 km from the institution in which the candidate seeks admission.

Karnataka PGCET MBA Merit List

The merit list will be prepared separately for MBA, MCA, ME / M.Tech / M.Arch solely on the basis of the marks obtained in the Post Graduate Common Entrance Test without taking the marks obtained by the applicants in the qualifying examination. The qualifying examination marks is considered only for eligibility.

Therefore, the applicants are advised to attend the counseling only if they have the requisite percentage of marks in the qualifying examination. (i.e., should have obtained 50% of aggregate minimum marks taken together in all the subjects for all the years of the Degree examination.

45% of aggregate marks in all the subjects for all the years in the Degree examination in case of applicants belonging to SC, ST, and Category-I. Further, only the applicants of Karnataka origin will be eligible to claim reservation). Therefore, mere assignment of merit / a rank to an applicant does not confer any right to select a seat.

MBA Counselling for Karnataka PGCET

After the announcement of merit list, the successful applicants are called for Karnataka PGCET counseling. Only those candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria are required to attend the counseling. The seat allotment is done online on the basis of merit and priority options. The simple and user-friendly software is used to make the entire online counseling process.

MBA Result for Karnataka PGCET

The merit list is prepared on the basis of the marks obtained by applicants in Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test exam. The result is available only for those applicants who will secure cut off score as per their category. Based on the Karnataka PGCET MBA Result, examination authority has prepared the rank list of applicants as the overall score secured in the entrance exam.

Karnataka PGCET MBA Exam Paper Pattern

The PGCET will be held in one session separately for MBA, conducted for 100 marks with 150 minutes duration. Each question paper will be of (Objective) Multiple Choice type. The question paper will be in four different versions. Each question will have four different options. Each question will carry ONE mark. Each correct response will be awarded 1 mark. The best part of the entrance exam is that there is no negative marking scheme for incorrect answers.

Admit Card for Karnataka PGCET MBA

The admit card contains the details of the applicants, exam timings, venue information etc. The students must download Karnataka PGCET hall ticket by visiting the official website of Karnataka PGCET.

At the time of downloading Karnataka PGCET admit card, An applicant’s need to enter the application ID and password. An applicant will have to carry the admission ticket to the examination center. Applicants are advised to preserve the admit card until the admission process is complete as it will be required at the time of counseling.
