• Nationality: The candidate should be a citizen of India.
• Qualifying Exam: Candidates should pass the Karnataka SSLC or equivalent exam from any recognized university or Karnataka Board.
• Minimum Marks: The candidate should score a minimum of 35% marks in aggregate.
• Appeared Candidates: The candidates studying in the 12th class in 2024 are also eligible to apply.
• Other Requirement: For both Engineering & Non-Engineering diploma courses, the candidate should have completed at least five years of study in Karnataka between the 1st Standard and the qualifying examination (the study of one class for one year will be treated as one academic year).
• Candidates applying other than the Karnataka board have to produce the ‘Eligibility Certificate’ issued by the Secretary, Board of Technical Education, Bangalore.
